Ivan was recommended to me for team head shots and I can only echo the recommendation. He was very responsive to emails and to our needs and requirements, putting us all at ease during the shoot. Usually nervous about headshot sessions, I felt immediately at ease with Ivan. He welcomed me into his studio space with warmth and purpose. Watching him adjust lighting is watching a master at work. He knows exactly how to enunciate beautiful contours of the face. During our shoot, he would give me things to think about ('did I leave the oven on?'), jokes to appreciate, and technical cues for eye-lines and head positioning. I felt that I could speak very openly with him and that my person and story shone through his work. We took short breaks to view photo chapters throughout the session and allow for adjustments I wanted. At the end of the shoot, he had a smart, efficient system for filtering photos down to final choices (in the past, I've spent days agonizing over what to pick). I recommend Ivan very highly. I left his studio refreshed from his personable service and sharp, meticulous eye. His product will not disappoint.

I admit I was nervous before my photo shoot with the London-based headshot photographer Ivan Weiss.
