You guys were so attentive and professional and were such a big part in making it great- so many people were impressed and excited about the venue so hopefully they will think about you for future events- would love to come back!
A. Y.I had a great experience at the Simulacra studio. The space is really unique & bursting with character. We rented the daylight studio 2 & was very impressed. It had all of the necessary requirements & the service was very professional.
The manager Bianca made life incredibly easy by handling setup arrangements. She even assisted with off the street parking. Overall, it was one of the best studio rentals that I've experienced. Definitely worth every penny!
N. A.Amazing venue and lovely lovely staff! We hired this venue for our 30th party - and have been left with our jaw open; fantastic sound, light, space - it felt like another worldly experience! They took on organising quick delivery of very large items to our gallery and kept great communication with us the whole time. They were even extremely understanding and accommodating when we had to re-schedule our booking at the last minute. A very reliable team and we are looking forward to using your services again.

The sound and lighting crew were very attentive and responsive, the bar staff quick and always smiling, and notably the security staff were very friendly and laid back (this is usually uncharacteristic for a London venue) which was really good for making our guests feel comfortable.

V. T.The place where I go when I need something related to cinematography. From photography to video, this is the place in south London to go. Helpful, with a lot of key equipment (video and photography) and manage by passionate persons who can adapt from pretty much any kind of budget!
F. S.I used Simulacra Studio first time in Dec 2013 and was totally impressed by the quality of the studio 1 that we hired. The makeup/styling room was fully equipped and organized and the studio had so much atmosphere and character. The pricing of the studio was far more reasonable then most other alternatives considering the quality of service and attention afforded by Francoise. He was around all the time, making sure we had all we needed. There are parking spaces available, which is quite handy when you carry a lot of clothing for the shoot. I will not hesitate to recommend this lovely studio to whoever might need using them.

The space itself is fantastic and lends itself to a creative and relaxed shooting environment. A few friends and i have been throwing parties at this venue for a few years now, and it has never once disappointed.
The space is unique, and flexible for parties of all kinds, and all sizes.
The main space is great fun and really diverse, the bar works well and they do proper drinks unlike a lot of venues, and there's a great outside area so it's good all year around.
Francois and his team couldn't be more accommodating and experienced. And their sound system packs a major punch. We have done several bespoke production builds at the venue and the team were super helpful and flexible with setup.
We have been doing parties for years but it's never been as easy or as fun as Simulacra. We'll be back there next year :)

The team were extremely helpful in organising the logistics and equipment for the safe use of the rig and for being on hand during the shoot – I can't thank them enough!
Decent sized studio space, with fantastic make-up room facilities, and a chill out bar.
I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a photography studio in London!
D. C.We had Simulacra Studio recommended to host our anniversary party and we are so glad we gave them a try. Right from the first enquiry we had rapid, courteous and efficient replies from management, support and the technical staff. The all made it all so easy for us.
The venue is smart, intimate without being small and perfect for holding parties without breaking the bank.
We elected the top sound package which gave us a great sound system with punchy sound and solid bass. The DJs were delighted with the smart equipment. The lighting was terrific and our VJs very pleased with the projectors, for a nominal amount more and excellent screen, as you would expect from a photographic studio.
The bar was very reasonably priced and stocked with our favourite beverages, including several non-alcoholic beverages for those who don't drink. The bar staff were great.
The technical team were fantastic, efficient and good humoured. Nothing was too much trouble and we were set up very quickly indeed.
We would like to thank the Simulacra team for everything they did to make the night so special for us. Our guests we amazed by the whole night and venue. We are sure some will be booking the Simulacra soon. We will again one day.
If you have any doubts about booking, don't as you won't be disappointed.

A. B.It is always quite nerve wracking to get your photographs taken by a professional, no matter how many times you do it, whether you are a model or actor... you still have waves of insecurity and nerves.
Every single time I work with Francois, the insecurity and nerves that I experience with other photographers becomes a thing of the past. Francois is extremely welcoming and ensures that you, the model are comfortable with all shots and setups. There is a constant dialogue about the shot that you want and how he will help you to achieve this. Throughout the session I was able to view shots taken, and give my input which he appreciated. The relaxing environment exerted by Simulacra studio enables any model to be on their best form! The space is very inviting and you easily feel at home. Simulacra a gem of South London, once you have found it, you will never want to leave! It's brilliant. A master of arts, a unique photographer and a true professional, a session with Francois is a great experience, you will never be disappointed!

S. S.Francois was the friendliest yet also most professional studio owner I'd spoken to (and I'd spoken to a fair few!). He agreed to come in to the studio in the morning and accommodated us at the last minute. He even helped set up and take down the necessary equipment. Really can't fault Simulacra Studio for anything and will be coming back here for all future photos even though I live on the opposite end of London! R. &. B. M."Simulacra Studio was the perfect choice for our photo shoot. Blackout was very much top of our priorities list and the studio is one of the very few in London who can cater for this, as well as providing all of the usual facilities such as colorama and bespoke lighting. The studio offers two spaces; a large ground floor space complete with customisable elements such as panels, mezzanine and curtained stage, and an upper hangar style room, its railway bridge location providing a quirky, interesting setting for a wide range of photographic and film applications (plus more substantial spaces in its other building across the road). In addition, the studio offers excellent facilities including two comfortably-sized dressing rooms, a bar/social area for relaxing and even outside areas.
The other main deciding factor for us was that they offer more than just a studio. They are a fully-fledged production house, offering photography, set building and retouching and we very much felt that the company would provide a complete creative package to help us achieve our vision. All questions were promptly answered and expertise delivered in the run up to the event. On the day, we were all very impressed with the professional way in which the shooting and scene changes were carried out, no doubt honed by years of industry experience. The studio and team adapted themselves very well to our bespoke needs and responded creatively to our concept and brief. We have no hesitation in recommending the studio and team to any band or music production looking for a company that combines a professional, hi-spec facility with a young, funky, friendly and accessible approach.”
