My sisters, mum and I went to SW3 Gallery a couple of weeks ago and had an enjoyable day. I originally purchased the package back in August 2020 but postponed it due to COVID. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff but we weren’t sure of the proceedings of the day - perhaps the plan could be outlined when we got there. We had our nails, hair and a hand massage done by a lovely, friendly lady who listened to our requests and made us feel comfortable. We then had our makeup done which took some time and the makeup artist didn’t attempt to make conversation which felt awkward at times. However, we were all pleased with our overall looks. We had fun having our photos taken in different outfits and with multiple backdrops. The photographer ensured we had a wide variety of photo styles/combinations and listened to our ideas but the direction could have been clearer in a few places. Staff were attentive with food and drink whilst we waited for the photos to be processed before Stefan presented them. He was enthusiastic and charismatic and made the last part of the day really fun! He gave the perfect amount of guidance on choosing the best package for us - we purchased some digital photos which we put the deposit towards. Overall, we had a fun day which was a great treat and we have some lovely photos to keep.

An amazing and learning experience. Was quite quiet when we arrived but we was made to feel very comfortable and welcome! Make up artists and hair stylists were so nice and great at their job. The photographer was great and added value to the sets and we had the best woman keeping us engaged within our session! Would definitely recommend this to someone, I had a great time

Went here yesterday with my best girlfriend from school days . It was a Christmas present from our husbands - a girlie day treat . We didn’t really know exactly what to expect and I was slightly apprehensive . I didn’t need to be . As soon as we arrived we were made very welcome and given refreshments in the friendly waiting area . We didn’t wait long at all before starting our makeovers . I had hair, nails and makeup in that order . The artists were very chatty and reassuring . I was really happy that they listened to me at all times making their expert suggestions but never charging ahead with anything I wasn’t keen on . I was very pleased with the result and even though my makeup was more dramatic than my usual I found it looked very good in the photographs. The photo shoot itself was fun once I relaxed and the photographer was really calming and knew exactly how to get the most out of our improved looks . Again during the choosing of some photos it was very relaxed and I didn’t feel pressured either time wise or to make a purchase . The editor was helpful with his opinion but it was always our choice . We were both very pleased with our digital photo package and have had lots of compliments from friends and family . After my slight worry of the unknown I very much enjoyed the experience and felt the look they created for me was still me but a much more polished me . I’d recommend this studio for a fun way to spend time with girlfriends or perhaps mum and daughters treat .

I was greeted with a warm smile, as promised, which was a great start to the day. The makeover: hair, nails and makeup was fantastic. Each stylist knew exactly what I wanted and nailed it completely. It was slightly awkward at first taking boudoir photos, but the photographer and manager (who also greeted me with the warm smile when I arrived) made me feel very comfortable and gave me great directions to get the most out of my outfits and shoes. I'd definitely recommend the experience to others. So fun and confidence boosting!

Had a fantastic mother-daughter photo shoot day here - the team were very attentive and great fun! The welcome was perfect, with snacks and drinks on arrival and throughout the day. Hair and make up team listened to what we asked for and we were super pleased with the results. As two people not used to having their photographs taken, the photographer put us at ease and made the whole experience really enjoyable! Would highly recommend!

Hi me and my cousin enjoyed our time at the gallery SW3: The woman who greeted us was extremely lovely and hospitable, and the hair and makeup stylists were both so nice and listened to the vision we had. The photographer was very helpful in direction for the shoots which was good because it was our first time getting our pictures taken! We don’t know how expensive the pictures are, but hopefully we will get our deposit back. All in all a great experience would recommend!

When we arrived we were very nervous and a bit overwhelmed. We explained that we were very apprehensive and unsure if we even wanted to go through with any of it. Everyone was very understanding. We did stay and had a lovely time. Everybody made us feel comfortable and the hair and makeup guys were fantastic. The photographer really put us at our ease as we were very self conscious and all in all we are so happy that we stayed and it was a wonderful experience. I was approached by The Gallery SW3 after winning one of their competitions for the opportunity to have a full experienced photoshoot for free. I was told to pay a fully refundable security deposit of £100 to ensure my visit at the given date and time. Upon arriving, I was greeted and looked after well by the host and was made to feel welcomed by the makeup artist and hair stylist, both of whom did an exceptional job. The photographer also was lovely to work with as they were very communicative and skilled in getting the right shot. As a student also in this field, I came with the intention of learning and experiencing a different studio environment which is what I was able to do. This expectation was also met by the staff in general, especially the image consultant of who was generally understanding and kind. The studio itself is quite large, and is composed of two rooms full of various props and backdrops. Overall had a great experience, many thanks to the staff today. Despite not purchasing any photos, I was satisfied with the experience overall. Post Session customer service was also exceptional, with the employees of the company ensuring that my deposit was refunded immediately and calling me after my session in order to make sure the process went smoothly. I also thank them for their kindness and great customer service.

My mum bought me a trip to SW3 for the two of us for a Christmas present. I was looking forward to a girly day out but slightly apprehensive about posing for photos! I need not have worried. All of the staff at SW3 were so kind, attentive and lovely - we were made to feel so welcome and comfortable from the moment we walked in. We enjoyed a lovely hand massage, nails appointment, hair and professional make up before heading into the studio for our photos. The photographer was very patient and professional with us and very encouraging during all of the photos. Overall we had a wonderful afternoon - would highly recommend!

To be honest the makeup was a little disappointing. He didn’t really put any on my daughter and that was the main reason for the booking. He said and I quote “we don’t put makeup on children” now I wasn’t expecting a full face as I had explained to one of the staff members prior when they called what we wanted; but a bit of mascara and blush n lipstick at least. I think he just put gloss on her. I didn’t like mine either; and felt he was a little in approachable. It was brown eyes on brown skin and bright red lipstick 💄. The hair lady was amazing! Kind sweet and attentive to my daughter and my needs. 🤩 The hostess was very nice to always ensuring we were ok and kept topping the drinks 🥂 I have to say as well nearly £800 for 15 digital photos is a bit much considering you don’t get the actual pics. This was for my daughters birthday treat and was a little underwhelming. I have have one of these before when I was younger and was a bit more professional than this & they offered instalments which is more affordable for some people. I’m not trying to be negative just wanted to share this.

Lovely staff, from welcome, to hair and beauty and brilliant photographer. I am pregnant and felt very relaxed as everyone was very COVID safe by wearing masks throughout my experience and cleaning down all surfaces before I used them. The only thing I didn't feel comfortable is the price of the photo packages.

This was a new experience for me and my girls who had turned 18 and 21, so we went as a treat day. It was such a relaxing experience, hair, makeup, nails, hand massage before nails being done and a facial massage before makeup being applied. Then onto the phot shoot where we were directed by the photographer. Highly impressed and definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere & lovely staff! From the reception, nails, hair and makeup to the photographer, everyone was so welcoming, kind and professional! If you’ve never done a photoshoot in your life, don’t worry, the photographer will tell you exactly how to pose so your pictures turn out beautiful! The nail, hair and makeup artist take your suggestions and make sure you look great for the photoshoot. I would definitely recommend!

Absolutely fabulous ! Didn’t expect it to be si much fun. I’m must admit we weren’t looking forward to all the clothing changes but in the end everything just fell into place rather nicely.. We had a warm welcoming from Suzana , she is so inviting and personable that we felt comfortable and very relaxed . The make up artist and the hair stylist were very professional, and most of all attentive , we had our hair and make up done exactly as we wanted. The photographer was very friendly and easy going , she managed to get us involved and interested, she was professional and she knew how to engage us both me and my sister . Was called to be told I won a free session at the studio- they booked me in very swiftly (there is a £100 deposit for the booking which I was informed would be refunded after my session) the MUA and hair stylist were very friendly- and the photographer was helpful guiding through the session :) The session also includes an afternoon tea and they were accommodating for dietary requirements. I’m looking forward to seeing the photos!

Great experience. The service there was so exceptional. I suffer from hyper pigmentation and mixed race...wasn't going to do the shoot with my daughter and granddaughter...but the make up artist made me feel comfortable did wonders...the hair stylist fitted the look...and the photographer brought it all together. Great memories now of three generations thanks to the professional service. Will be coming back again and again.

I booked SW3 Chelsea Gallery for my daughter’s 7th Birthday 🥳 as this is something she would like because she’s such a girlie girl lol. And she loved it! All the staff are Very friendly and professional. The place is very clean. I was worried about getting my hair & makeup done here tbh, because I find in the past these places usually don’t know how to do makeup on dark black skin complexion and don’t know how to do black people’s hair. But this place was good! They styled my dreadlocks well and even re-twist it and they did my daughter’s Afro 4C hair nice. (The hair dresser is from Ethiopia 🇪🇹. So I that helped lol) and the Makeup artist manage to do the right shade of foundation and the other makeups on my dark skin complexion Very well. Didn’t made me look odd. Which is was brilliant. The photographer was great at taking me & my daughter’s photos, and the host Noemi was amazing and she kept giving me so much Prosecco 🥂 and snacks lol. Me & daughter loved the whole experience. Would highly recommend this place compare to other places I have been to. 👍🏾. But only downfall about this place is that the photo’s are mad expensive.

Brilliant experience, loved having my make up done by Geraldo . Being a black person matching my skin tone as always been an issue with photoshoots but my hair and make up Was on point . Next came the shoots … all I can say is come with your money … soo many shoots that were on point and the photographer captured my cousin and I amaaaaazzzzzzigly Also last but not least I have to mention the host . She was lovely, accommodating and helped us relax so much . My experience is being (can't leave lol) amazing! From the first contact with Kate, till the big day. I am a people's person and a believer that when energy marches everything flows. From the moment I came in I felt the warmth: Lovely Suzana (the host from Slovakia) is indeed what they say : warm host. Then Suza (makeup from Finland, comes in to highlight your beauty), then you step in the warmth of Italy with Gianluca (hair) and is time to "the women" behind the lenses who will catch your best,Ida (from Croatia). All these washed down with prosecco. It was like one day in the Winterwonderland but best : I been in many countries in a space of 3 hours, and I got the best out of it. Friendliness, caring, and their expertise. I had fun all the way along. Greatfull for the lovely time with these lovely professionals . A great experience. Thanks to all ! Maria (from Brazil)😉

*Update* see original review below After the whole experience I received a call back from Sarah who explained to me that the photographer that was in that day was not their regular one. She really tried to make it up to me by offering to re-shoot but my partner and I were not up for it. She also offered me a voucher for a blow dry which I thought was very sweet! She didn't have to do that since at the end I just wanted my deposit back. Costumer care is definitely a high priority in this company hence I'm giving 3 stars instead of 2. **************************************** The reason why I give 2 stars are the prices and lack of transparency. Weeks before I emailed asking about the prices but didn't receive a straight answer, after following up with more emails I was told prices started from £30 which was not the case. 1 digital photo is £100 and 5 £350. These are outrageous prices for the photos/backdrops offered. They did try to negotiate with me and offered me more photos for the deposit I paid (£200) but I just did not feel this was value for money. Pictures were nice enough but nothing special. HOWEVER, Staff are amazing from the hair stylist to the make up artist and receptionist. I won a competition to come and do a maternity shoot with a "pamper package" I got my nails and make up done and hair styled (aromatherapy and facial offered during the original booking never happened). The photographer was lovely and put us me and my partner at ease. I just wish they would have been more transparent from the beginning, I don't like being tricked into things so I just left empty handed with my complimentary photo.

I was a bit confused about reviewing the gallery sw3 We got two vouchers from the baby show And made our first bump photoshoot last weekend We had a good time and enjoyed the whole experience The service deserves 5 stars But for the most important part The photoshoot itself and the amount being paid after the setups should be a bit more up to date as these are the same backdrops and setups available for all the customers So the pictures were fine at the end but there weren’t any creativity in the pictures So the photoshoot itself deserves 2 stars For £300 for 5 pictures Other than the £30 we paid for the parking And the £60 paid for the vouchers in the baby show The whole experience was over priced As you can find exactly the same services with extra pictures for £200 and better pictures

An Experience worth every penny! We booked to capture mom’s 60th birthday/Mother’s Day and we had an unforgettable day! I must extend my heartfelt appreciation to the team that work at the gallery, they were all brilliant, authentic, warm and friendly which really added and heightened our experience. Our photos were beautiful, too. I read a lot of negative comments and all I can say to those comments are “manage your expectations”! You’re going for a day to get styled, have fun and have amazing photos taken. If you’re looking for a spa/massage experience, book a spa day!! Our heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at the gallery for tirelessly looking after us, making us smile and feel comfortable, glaming us to look stunning, capturing beautiful pictures and above all for giving us a package to take our photos home! The place is SUPER cool. They have all kinds of scenarios for the sessions! All the staff treats you amazing. First they did a hand massag with nail treatment and hairdressing. The girl is so nice. The makeup artist is good and the photographer is the best! She helps you feel comfortable and make the best of you. At reception they care all the time for anything you need. Took my 10 week old baby to have some professional pictures taken. The experience from the moment of booking to the shoot itself was great. From doing my face, nails (superficially - don’t expect a proper full manicure) and hair, to the photographer (Michelle). Think one thing I would change is the request to leave a review while you are there and being watched. You’re bound to leave a positive review and nothing constructive, while being watched.

Such a great afternoon. From the moment you walked through the door, James the host was there with the warmest welcome. The service was 10/10 and he really made the experience go the extra mile. Make up artist actually listened to what you wanted and made the experience so enjoyable. Only issue was the extremely limited nail colour collection. But Angela was so lovely and apolgectic about it. She did her absolute best with what she had. Plus the conversation and lovely interaction made up for it.

EDIT: They care about their business and image. After publishing the original review they contacted me to try to solve the problems. There were too many calls and "pressure" but I guess it's nice that they care about customer's experience. The staff was professional and did a good job with the make up and most photos were good quality. I was a bit disappointed after checking the prices with them as it ended up being more expensive than expected( my fault for not asking first 😥). In general okay service/final result. We like the result and the photos we received but I cannot say it was a 5 star

I had a very cheap Groupon deal with one digital picture included, but additional pictures were quite expensive (100£ for 2 non edited pictures).
