Bought a Gift Experience at the Ideal Home show for my mum. Didn't expect to much from it if I'm completely honest but I was totally blown away. The hair and make up ladies did a great job and were full of compliments. Derek the photographer was fun, friendly and made a real fuss over mum. Highly recommended with some beautiful photos to remember this special day.

Had the makeover photoshoot with my sister - it was amazing! Beautiful hair and makeup and the photoshoot was better than anything I have done before. Lots of tips from the stylist on outfits and poses and have ended up with some great photos. Would recommend to anyone looking for a high quality photoshoot and great day out.

Absolutely loved this experience .. I attended with my daughter as a celebration for my 60th .. I was transformed ..and loved my hair and make up. Derek was a fantastic photographer..I would have loved to buy all the pics ..but my daughter being a young person 🙃😢didnt like how she looked.!!.This was no reflection on Derek BTW ..just young people lol!! Lucy was amazing and helped us choose the photos which we knew we would like to display.. Will definately repeat the experience🙏

He took all the awkwardness of having photos done out of the session and I think the photos we are getting in our Silver package show that. Truly amazing experience! Derek has done a family shoot with us and he was incredible calm with our two young children, he made the kids laugh and having fun during the session. Before the session I had a nice little transformation with hair done and makeup that made me look much more beautiful, thanks to the ladies for this. I had such a fun and glamorous day with Derek and his team! This was my first photoshoot ever and I was so nervous about how awkward I would be, but the atmosphere was so relaxed and welcoming and Derek guided me the whole way. I had a photoshoot at the Picture House and it was an amazing experience. The ladies who did my make up and hair were brilliant. They were so friendly and lovely. They created the look I wanted and made me feel very special. They are both definitely great at what they do. I then had a photoshoot with a photographer called Derek, who was fantastic. He made me feel at ease and was so good at creating beautiful images. He gave me advice about the clothing and different ideas, which would work best and I thought it was very helpful. Derek was very outgoing and funny. I then sat down with the image editor called Sam to look through my images. Sam was very professional, comforting and had a good sense of humour, which made the whole experience absolutely amazing. He helped me choose the best images by providing his expert advice as I was struggling to select my favourites because all the images were so great. Thank you to everyone for such a brilliant experience! I loved it!

I had a fantastic experience there. The hair stylist and makeup artist were the best in my eyes. They know what they are doing! I've had past experience with another studio where you don't see yourself in a mirror till at the end and I was shocked as I looked like a drag queen! I definitely recommend going to The Picture House as they are very professional, they put you at ease and they are very friendly! Worth going!! A fantastic group of professionals! I did photoshoots before, but the Picture House have totally exceeded my expectations! It was the best photoshoot ever! Photographer Derek is amazing and tells you what to do and the hair and makeup Rebecca ana Mariann turned me into a beauty! I booked this deal through Wowcher and was fitted in the same weekend to have a Photo Shoot done. The 2 girls who done my make up and hair were very friendly and matched the ideas I had previously shown them on my phone. They didn't rush anything and made sure I was completely happy with my look before I went to have my photos taken. Derek helped me sort through which outfits would give me my desired look that I was going for and talked to me about who the photos were for and the style I wanted to achieve. He made me feel at ease and took several pictures in each outfit change so I had a good selection to sort through. I then went through the images with Lucy and we managed to get down to our final favourite pictures. She was very helpful and even removed some tattoo's from the photos that I didn't want showing. My images were put onto a CD for me to take home before leaving the Studio so I can print as many copies as I wanted. I can honestly say the overall experience was really nice from start to finish, nothing was too much bother and I love the images I chose.

Had the most amazing afternoon on Saturday. Very professional, fantastic makeup , hair and nails and for a person who does not enjoy being photographed I was so relaxed it was unreal. These guys are wonderful from start to finish. From the friendly Yve when booking, to the fab makeup and hair artists Nina and Francesca and the wonderful talented photographer Derek and then the bubbly Lucy who shows you the photos for you to choose. A great team and cocktails to boot:)) The photos were wonderful. Not like other studios who treat you like cattle. This is very much a feel of individual attention. Lovely vibe and so friendly people from the moment you step in. Would highly recommend anyone, families, solos, acting head shots..nothing Derek can't do justice to. You'll love the photos!

I'd never set foot in a photo-studio before in my life I'm a middle aged guy who's suddenly found himself in need of some publicity shots, so, with some trepidation I books a shoot. Arriving I was greeted by Derek the friendly and affable photographer who ushered me inside (gulp) and down to the studio for make-up. As I’ve never had anything to do with make-up I wasn’t entirely looking forward to this part… The make-up artists Anna and Lois did a fantastic job of making me feel comfortable though, and they coaxed me into relaxing, and, after a while even enjoying the experience. That done, it was on to the main event! Derek explained everything and guided me, taking me through a number of poses in front of a series of backgrounds and a change of clothes, keeping me chatting and at ease throughout while getting me to pose with humorous banter. Then, after an hour that felt far less it was all over and time to find out what the pictures looked like! Lucy took me through the resulting, and, I thought the shots were amazing, certainly suitable for the purpose and even so good I've sent several to my mother. She advised me on which to keep when asked and allowed me to pick my favourites without judgement too. All in all, what I looked forward to with terror turned out to be a pleasure and I'm delighted with the end results.

Me and my friend had an absolutely AMAZING time at our makeover photo shoot! All the staff were really friendly, kind and helpful also professional - they took all the safety measures in regards of Covid-19, I felt really safe. From the moment we arrived we felt looked after, even had a cocktail menu! Nina was lovely, explained what to expect, made us look so glam and put my nerves at ease, well the cocktail helped too of course 😂🙈 The photographer was hilarious, we were nervous as this was the first photo shoot for both me and my friend but he put our mind at ease in a second, helped us plan what to wear and posed and directed us throughout. I remember laughing a lot lol! The pictures were so natural and beautiful - I never knew I could look like that! Haha 😆 Thank you so much for the team of The Picture House for making our day, a small highlight in an otherwise depressing year! I’d highly recommend them xxxxx

AN HONEST REVIEW Few months ago, I saw their ad on facebook where they advertised to WIN a FREE photoshoot so I registered and said to myself that it would be nice to have a nice family photoshoot since we just had a baby. Lo and behold, someone contacted me that I have won the free photoshoot. Fast forward on the day, the staff were really nice and polite. After more than 2 hours of makeup, photo session and changing our clothes etc, we came to the end where the staff showing us our pictures. They were gorgeous. But little did we know that we will only have 1 free digital copy of our photos and had to pay significant amount of money for the rest of the photos (£55 per photo if i’m not mistaken). Of course the more pictures you get, the less you pay. They wont force you to get the photos but for us we felt like we have to otherwise everyones effort (including the effort on our part as it wasn’t easy having a baby in the studio) will just go to waste if we didn’t. It was our first ever family photo and we got really emotional and pressured just thinking of letting go of the photos. We ended up taking 11 photos and cost us more than £400. In all honestly, after this day I couldn’t sleep properly thinking if we have made the right decision having the photoshoot. We are not rich people and £400 for us is a huge amount of money and it hurts because we went there thinking that we would not have to pay anything. In conclusion: -It was a good experience -Staff were nice and professional -Hair and makeup were okay and basic -The pictures were gorgeous -The price of the photos is ridiculously expensive! -In my personal opinion, the price does not justify the photos and I’m sure I could have gotten the same service , more photos inclusive for a cheaper price somewhere else. -I would not come back because of the price If you’re a person who is looking for a good photographer but doesn’t care about the price, by any means I would recommend the this studio. Absolutely Fantastic !!!! Do not know where to start from ! Firstly the hospitality ! Drinks ! Everyone is super friendly and chatty ! Secondly make up and hair stylists ! OMG!!!! Pure artists ! Made a magic with my face and my hair in 15 min only ! Helped to make the look as real as possible ! Photographer ! He is fantastic ! Makes you feel very comfortable, helps a lot with positions ! Knows where to stand and how to stand to make you look confident but real . Very professional and good fun at the same time . It was our first photo shoot but will not be the last 100 %! I had a great experience at The Picture House. I initially purchased a voucher on Groupon for the shoot, and wasn’t expecting much. However, the experience was great. The makeup artist, Alex, was top notch. The photographer, Derek, was an awesome photographer who took some really great shots and had some very unique and interesting ideas for the type of shoot I wanted. Prices are typical of a normal photoshoot, about £50 odd per image. If you know and expect this going in, you won’t be surprised when you see the prices. All in all would recommend.

On our voucher it said we’d get facials, goodybag n a good manicure byt the nail polish was done really badly. Our photos came out amazing but its just the small things they said they’d provided which they didnt There were hardly any nail polish colours for us to choose from which is annoying because they had all Blues pinks and no natural colours

Had photo shoot done with my daughter 5th aug, and have my photo's on disc, and they very kindly offered to print one and send to me as I had mentioned it was soon to be my Mum's birthday and was told I should receive in approximately 2 weeks. In a nutshell - a very professional studio with the professional management and staff you would expect. Their added value lies within their specialised talent and every individual was warm and forthcoming. I came with a clear idea of what I needed and was not disappointed ... and I uploaded the photo on LinkedIn and the feedback is awesome. If you are fearful of getting out of your comfort-zone I suggest you start off with your casual or 'comfort' wear and experiment... once you break that first hurdle you will find it will come easier.
