A brilliant studio, the communication from the team was great from the very start, we knew exactly what to expect and what to bring. On the day of our shoot we were greeted with a warm welcome and felt comfortable from beginning to end. We couldn't be happier with the end result and will definitely be back again! My 15 month old daughter and I had the opportunity to have a photoshoot at the newly opened Venture Studios in Maidstone. We had a call from Jackie to take some details about what we would like from the shoot, who would be attending, etc. I couldn’t take the call but she called me back at a more convenient time which was helpful and no problem to her. A couple of days before the shoot, our wonderful photographer, May, called to ‘fire us up’ and talked through outfits and expectations. It put me at ease to be able to speak with her ahead of the photoshoot. On the day, we were offered refreshments and May gave us time to settle in which is handy with a little person who is always initially shy. We had a look through a book to see if there were any particular styles or set ups that we were inspired by and also got to see some of the framing options and the print quality. May was exceptionally patient with my little one who was more interested in trying to climb the light stands. She had a few tricks up her sleeve to distract her and got some amazing shots that really captured her personality. She completely worked around my daughter’s energy levels which were definitely running low by the end of the shoot - as were mine! Once we finished, May showed us some examples of frames that are available and got us booked in to view the photos a few days later. I came back on my own for the viewing where May showed me a beautiful slide show of a selection of pictures and then went through all of them more slowly to narrow down my favourites. My cheeks were aching from smiling at some of the funniest and most gorgeous photos of my baby. May talked through the options and showed me examples of how she could use some of the photos together. The whole experience from start to finish was friendly and professional and completely tailored to suit us. I’d recommend May and Venture Studios in Maidstone to anyone wanting the personality of their family perfectly captured and turned into beautiful piece of art for their home forever.
