I went to David for new some new Headshots and from the moment I made first contact with him I was impressed with his professionalism, attention to detail, warmth and approachability and quality of his work. The shoot itself was a really positive experience. David made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable and his tips and knowledge really helped get the best out of the shoot. I highly recommend David John Headshots. I am just starting out on my acting journey and this was the first time I have head shots taken. I didn’t know what to expect and felt a little nervous. David was recommended to us by a friend after we'd seen her sons amazing headshots, it was the best decision we ever made for our two acting boys, we've had the most wonderful feedback from our agent and industry friends on the headshots. The communication before the shoot was first class, we had lots of advice about the best colours and clothes to suit their skin tones and eyes, this really helped us prepare what to take with us. Upon arrival David took the time to talk to the boys to really get to know their personalities and interests and even let the boys play their favourite music during the shoot, he really took away the awkwardness out of having a camera pointed into at their faces. The session was fun, engaging and the results speak for themselves. David is an all round fabulous guy and we've found our happy place with having the comfort that the boys headshots (twice a year) are in always in very safe professional hands - there are so many to choose from too! I got my 1st headshots done with David after liking the shots he had on his website and didn't regret it. He was very professional but made me feel comfortable straight away. I didn't know anything about the shoot (what to wear etc) so took stuff with me and David picked the stuff he thought looked best. He goes the extra mile to make you feel good about yourself and your shots, gives you a lot to choose from and is really helpful if you're as indecisive as me and need help deciding on which shot to use as a final edit. Loved my headshot experience with David! He made me feel comfortable, wanted to know exactly what I'd like from my headshots and commented on what casting directors are looking for from them too. It was a relaxed atmosphere and he advised me on what angles were best, facial expressions and also clothing which was very helpful.
