Dora and her husband are absolutely amazing at what they do. We first met them in 2018 for a maternity session and later a newborn session, so when it came time to book another session for our second child in 2021 we knew just who to contact. Dora is so careful and lovely handling newborns, she has a magic touch that just calms them down! Their studio has everything, it's so comfy and you're spoilt for choice when it comes to props. No matter what sort of photos I wanted, no matter what colour scheme or outfits, Dora made them happen. We're so happy with our photos, and it's always lovely meeting Dora and her husband! Due to lockdown our newborn photo shoot had to be postponed so we went to Dora when our baby was 7weeks old. Even though he was nearly out of his newborn phase, Dora did a wonderful job. She was very patient and gentle with him and took lots of time to ensure that she captured the best shots of our baby and us as a family. The pictures we got are wonderful and we can’t wait to get our products and put them up at home. I would highly recommend using Dora for your shoot as she will ensure only the best is captured and create memories of your newborn to keep forever.

Needing profile photos for business and searching for a local photograper, and reviewing the work Dora has produced I got in touch. A little apprehensive at first, as Dora's main portfolio and focus is mums to be, newborn and family photos, would my approach for corporate type profile photos be appropriate? I needn't be, Dora and Zsolt were brilliant, Dora's approach is calm and professional and the finished photos are excellent. Our baby Zara had her first professional photoshoot with Dora just after turning 1 and the experience was amazing. A wonderful experience had captured our gorgeous baby boy. Could not be happier with our experience. Dora communicated really well in the lead up to our newborn photoshoot. Our baby arrived early & Dora was flexible on the date. Dora & her husband greeted us & were very warm & welcoming. Their home studio is immaculately clean & comfortable. Dora clearly knew exactly what she was doing, wrapping our baby expertly & handling him gently - he didn’t wake up once & we got some amazing shots! Dora edited our shots quickly & she created a beautiful video with music showcasing the photos, I sobbed they were so stunning! We couldn’t decide so bought them all, they were provided to us on a wooden engraved USB & a link emailed to us. Dora is extremely talented, we will certainly be back for more photos when our baby is older. We would 100% recommend her.

I followed Dora for few years now on Fb and really liked her work so as soon as we decided to have a photo session booked for our little one I knew I wanted to do it with her! I know her and her husband personally from time when I lived in Manchester and I felt she would be the right person to do the job and I wasn’t wrong! From the start she was very professional with providing info, replying to messages and advising on preparations for the session. We actually had them travel to Nottingham to do the photos! Our little daughter was 2 weeks old at the time and took time to settle - both Dora and Her husband were very absolutely brilliant with her- so patient and calming, they created great relaxed atmosphere- exactly what you need when you’re trusting someone with you baby! (And that’s not easy when it’s your first one). Also I’m not an easy customer and I really liked that they listened to what we actually wanted from the photos! Watching video made by them of the photoshoot few weeks later made me so emotional- they’ve done an amazing job! I would highly recommend Dora Horvath Photography for your little ones! They’d be in really good hands!! :)

We recently returned to Dora for our baby’s first birthday cake smash/fruit bath photo shoot. Dora’s creative ideas and eye for detail are amazing, she created the perfect sets for our baby using gorgeous props and backdrops. From the very beginning, Dora was very quick to respond to messages and provided lots of info about what she offered and what to expect. After he was born, she was flexible with the session - which was good as my baby son had to spend a few days in special care. On the day, Dora and her husband were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. With having a newborn, I wasn’t able to do my hair and makeup before I arrived. They allowed me to use their downstairs bathroom, meaning I didn’t have to struggle with a small hand held mirror. Dora was amazing with my baby son (even when he peed on her.....). She clearly loves working with babies and develops a real rapport with them. The photos were absolutely amazing and we were so spoiled for choice that we ended up buying all of them. We now have the impossible task of deciding which to actually print. The whole experience overall was fantastic too-Dora and her husband are a truly lovely couple. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful way to capture my baby boy. The tiny stage is so fleeting and he’s changed so much already - I’ll treasure these photos forever. I’ve no doubt we’ll be in touch for more photos in the future. Thank you!!

Dora is a fantastic photographer, I took my daughter for a newborn session with Dora at 14 days old and all I can say is I’m so glad I did as Dora managed to capture the newborn look in the best possible way because believe me the newborn look does not last long at all. Dora and zsolt were fantastic with both the baby and us parent. They are fantastic at what they do and they have so much patience and skill with babies . We liked the photographs so much we bought one of everything as they were all so good. I will be taking my daughter to Dora again when she is 1 year old for more fantastic photos.

Dora & Zsolt were very pleasant and professional to work with. Despite having a toddler around, they were patient to us and did a great job. The quality of their photos is excellent and it is worthy to mention that for the price paid, you are given the full resolution of the photos (JPEG) straight out of their camera rather than a toned down version. It means you can print out full A2 sizes of your photos which is very useful. I would definitely recommend this team.

Hello Everyone! I'd like to start off by saying thank you so very much to Dora for our wonderful photos of baby Sophie - we are still absolutely delighted with all of them :) My wife and I searched for days and weeks to find a photography service that had all the pricing and other information upfront on their website, that suited the varied styles of photo we like, and most importantly didn't charge thousands of pounds! We found Dora on-line and after contacting her initially we were met with efficiency and professionalism throughout. Nothing was too much trouble and she was so helpful and flexible with times, dates, quotes etc. After being exceptionally happy with photos demonstrated on the website as well as the fabulous customer service, we were more than delighted with the price and found it exceptional value for money. The shoot itself was great fun and Dora was brilliant with our baby (and us) - we had a choice of props beforehand so to see it all being put together was great. I left the shoot saying to my wife that even if we get one stunning photo it would've been worth every penny... After receiving the photos (so promptly and beautifully edited) we were lucky enough to end up with all twenty photos looking stunning! I'd like to say that I work within the high end leisure industry and have exceptionally high service and value requirements. We first met Dora at a baby show and I'm so glad we did! Both her and her husband are lovely and very passionate about the job they do. They were very accommodating in getting our shoot carried out when we had to return to hospital suddenly. On the day we were all made to feel very welcome and involved. We booked our newborn shoot in with Dora at the end of last year, and I couldn't wait to come and see her. She was very accommodating when it came to finding a date that would suit us, in what is a very small window for a newborn shoot! We felt at ease from the moment we got there. Both Dora and Zsolt were so reassuring and professional. They explained everything to us before the shoot, so we could get straight on with things as soon as baby was ready. They were so gentle with our baby boy, after an initial issue settling him after a feed, he was asleep for the majority of the rest of the shoot. He was obviously very comfortable, even with a change of outfits and the change to the props throughout the session. They gave us a sneak peak at some of the photos in the session, and we were completely blown away by what they had managed to capture. They are memories we will have on our walls, and that of grandparents and aunts and uncles, forever. Thank you. The room is kept very warm to keep baby comfortable, and any feeding/comfort breaks are no problem to them at all. If you aren't sure whether or not to book, just do it, I promise you won't be disappointed. Our photos and cards are beautiful! Cannot wait to show them off!! Xxx

We had a Christmas photoshoot and it was so good! The lovely photographer booked my baby girl in and gave me until Monday to pay as I was not able to pay on the day I asked her which was so nice as places don't do that.
