The first thing to say about Matt is that he is a lovely person, which is very important when someone is going to be around you for the whole of your wedding day. Really easy to get on with and put us at ease from the very start of the day. He carried my bag and umbrella around which made me feel like a bit of a princess but was very much appreciated! The photos are amazing, even better than expected (just look at his portfolio, it kind of speaks for itself...) and I cried a bit looking over them. Matt is an absolute professional. I was worried that we wouldn't be able to get any outdoor photos because of the rain but he chose the perfect time to go out to the canal side and get some great shots. I don't know what else to say, there isn't a bad thing I could mention. Just brilliant. Thank you so much Matt!

Matt was superb. He was recommended to us by our wedding venue and we couldn't be happier with the video and photographs that he captured throughout our wedding day. Wedding photographers can sometimes have a reputation of being a bit in your face and intrusive but Matt was not at all like that. He blended into the background and his ability to go unnoticed as he photographed meant that the photos were natural and not posed or forced at all. He arrived early and stayed much later than we expected. Matt was incredibly efficient with editing the video and photographs and we are so impressed with what he produced. On the day we were reluctant to do too many lovey dovey photos of the two of us but with Matt's relaxed and laid back manner we were actually really comfortable and they have turned out to be some of our favourite pictures! Our family and friends have all commented on how great the photographs are and we would strongly recommend Matt to any couples getting married. Thank you so much again Matt for capturing our day!

Absolutely amazing! We are blown away with our wedding photos and can't thank Matthew enough, a lot of our guests have commented on how they wouldn't have even known Matthew was there on the day, he stayed in the background but he was always there when he had to be! We aren't particularly comfortable in front of the camera but Matthew's relaxed nature really put us at ease. We have just received our wedding photos and are blown away by Matthew's work. He perfectly captured the day and didn't miss a thing! We love how natural the photos are, we are so happy we chose Matthew. Also if you're contemplating whether to add on the videography, just do it, you won't regret it! It's incredible watching the highlight video back telling the story of your big day. It also meant that we had the pleasure of having Matthew's assistant at the wedding taking extra photographs, she was also lovely and they both worked fantastic together, blended into the background and stayed slightly later than the first dance to get extra shots of guests dancing. Their hard work didn't go unnoticed, thank you :)

An excellent photographer! From booking Matt until the last snap taken at the end of the day - Matt has been an absolute pleasure to work with. On the day he was really attentive and got every shot perfectly, felt like we had known him for years, we had asked for candid photography and he listened to every request we had. We were searching for the perfect photographer as we didn’t want to spend a lot of time posing and Matthew appeared on Facebook and he was absolutely the right choice. Our photos are perfect, we have some lovely pictures with our families to treasure but our favourites are the natural shots showing everyone enjoying themselves. Matthew was great and chose backgrounds for us to have our pictures and we even managed to get out in the rain. We have heard a lot of stories of how people chose the wrong photographer but this is absolutely not the case for us, our pictures are fantastic and will remind us of our special day forever. We found Matt after reading some good reviews online and checking out the beautiful photographs on his blog. We arranged to meet Matt and soon realised how passionate about photography he is. His attention to detail and enthusiasm made it an easy decision to book him for our day. We initially unsure about having an engagement shoot but we are so very glad we did as it was a lot of fun and made us feel much more relaxed about the big day. I hadn't initially booked a videographer for our wedding and I was regretting my decision. My florist recommended I get in touch with Matt (a little over a week before the big day!) and I am so glad I did! I Initially spoke with Matt over message and then over the phone to go over details of the day and talk about the style. Matt was friendly and professional and talked me through how everything would work. On the day Matt turned up for the bridal prep and had a look around the site to familiarise himself. After that he just blended in with the guests which really suited our more relaxed style. He stayed until after the first dance which allowed him to get some great footage of the party in the evening which we loved. He provided a short trailer, a cinematic highlights video, a ceremony highlights video and the speeches. I also requested a video of the first dance which he also happily did for me. Everyone has commented on how great the video is...their only criticism is that there isn't more of it! Thank you Matt for all your hard work and creating something we love xx

It’s not the formal photos that remind you how great your day was. it’s the natural fun and excitement that is important to be documented. Matthew captured our day in July this year and have only just got back home to view our photographs after having the most amazing time travelling for our honeymoon. Used Matt twice now, firstly to do a shift photograph for a colleague who was retiring and then for a photo shoot with my fiancée and our dog. The massive difference between the two shoots demonstrates the versatility of this amazing photographer. Matt is the ultimate professional. Punctual, attentive and with a keen eye for the perfect shot. We have so many lovely, perfectly timed natural pictures now thanks to Matt. Though he specialises in child shoots and weddings, Matt worked a miracle photographing our dog Blaze. Never met a photographer so keen to please and get the absolute perfect image that you desire, Matt is very polite and will make you feel at ease straight away. When photographing its almost like he isn't there! No awkward feeling or the need to pose, just be yourself and Matt will get the perfect pictures. Would VERY HIGHLY recommend for anyone at all. You will not find a better photographer!
