Amy photographed our wedding in October and we also opted for the pre-wedding photoshoot too. I was nervous before, wondering if it would be worth it, but it SO was! Amy made us both feel so at ease straight away and it was so much fun! Amy walked for hours around Durham with us, taking fantastic shots, suggesting all sorts of great places to go, from a dreamy willow tree which we managed to track down to elegant photos in the Cathedral. She took photos that tell such a story when you look through them - I am so impressed. I would definitely recommend Amy as your photographer for your wedding - and also going for the pre-wedding shoot, it made me SO excited for the big day!

We worked with Amy back in 2020, and we loved the resulting photographs, as well as her personally, so it was a no-brainer to choose her to photograph our wedding. Amy and her colleague were absolutely wonderful throughout - they melted into the background and took calm, efficient control of the more formal shots when needed. Breaking off from the group to go and find some shots in the sun was a pleasure and the results blew us away, we are completely delighted with them and will treasure them for the rest of our lives. Words cannot express how thankful we are to have had Amy as part of our special day! We honestly could not have asked for a better photographer. Amy just knows how to make you feel completely at ease throughout and it felt like we just had another friend there. On the run up to the wedding she was always there to answer any questions we may have and took all of our ideas for our wedding photos on board. She blended in seamlessly and worked so well with our second shooter and videographer to ensure all the special moments we wanted were captured. We had so many guests tell us how friendly Amy was and how much fun she had added to their day. She sent our sneak peeks to us in record time and the photos are beautiful beyond words - they are everything we hoped for and more and she has captured our day perfectly. Where do I start… Amy was our wedding day photographer, and honestly, I can’t recommend her enough. She was absolutely amazing on the day, the communication in the whole planning process was brilliant, and the sneak peak pictures we’ve had so far were incredible.. with such a fast turnaround!! Amy is truly an artist, I have no doubt about recommending her to anyone and everyone I speak to about my wedding pics. If you do one thing right for your wedding, choose Amy to be your photographer :) From our first phone call onwards, Amy has been a complete and utter joy to work with. She is the loveliest and most attentive supplier we could have ever hoped for and she has gone above and beyond to make everything as special as possible for us. I kept in contact with Amy throughout the whole process from booking onwards and when our wedding rolled round it felt like having an old friend there on the day. We had a pre wedding shoot at the beach which really put us at ease, Amy made sure to make it really relaxed and we had such a laugh (so much so I was ugly laughing in most photos and Amy somehow still made them lovely!). Amy wanted details of exactly what we were looking for aesthetic wise and she completely nailed it. The photos from our wedding are out of this world, we will treasure them forever. Amy also helped so much on the day to get everything on track with the venue when things weren't going too smoothly (which is beyond her job and is a testament to how brilliant she really is) and I felt I had someone I could really rely on when I was a bag of nerves and for that I will always be so grateful ❤️Everyone commented on how amazing the photos were, and also how lovely Amy was too! We initially reached out to Amy because we had seen her work on Instagram and loved her style, but from the first email exchange, Amy made us feel like we were chatting with an old friend. Where to start. Amy is wonderful! When we were scouting for a photographer for our wedding, we were enamoured with the work that Amy had done with other couples. On our big day, she captured all the precious moments gloriously; we’ll forever treasure these photos. Amy shoots in her own unrivalled style, a curious balance of classic and contemporary. From the family formals to “so candid” shots (as she like to say!), the mix of photography was better than we could have ever wanted. The colours are vibrant, accentuating the themes of our wedding. Within 24 hours of the wedding we had our “sneak peeks” sent through, which was a very impressive turnaround and the fully furnished album of over 1200 photos was with us in a month. Furthermore, Amy is literally the nicest person you could want to be part of your big day and that comes across in how happy we all are in the photos.

Oh wow what can I say!? Amy was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She really listened to what we really wanted from our wedding photography and oh my did she deliver!! Wedding photographers are expensive; you might be tempted to save some money, and just ask your photographer friend to bring his SLR and snap some pictures. I'm really glad we didn't do that. Having Amy around on the day was invaluable. She had lots of helpful advice and really helped smooth things along. As it turns out, someone who's been to hundreds of weddings is a useful person to have around at a wedding! I definitely recommend engaging an experienced wedding photographer like Amy, _especially_ if you don't have a wedding planner. ...and she took great photos too! The posed shots came out great - the kind of thing you could frame. And (to me, more importantly) she took lots and lots of lovely unposed shots. All beautifully taken and nicely edited. The online gallery works well too.

There needs to be more than 5 stars for this incredible woman! Don’t hesitate to book Amy as your photographer! She was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer that will make you go through all the emotions reliving your day through these wonderful photos, but she’s also an incredibly kind and helpful person that is willing to help with anything you may need on the morning of your big day. Our best man nicknamed her Kim possible because if it can be done, Amy can do it. My husband and I aren’t used to being in front of the camera but Amy actually made it a pleasure. She puts you at ease and genuinely makes it a fun experience. We laughed so much throughout our wedding day photos which only made for more fabulous pictures to treasure!
