I can't honestly express how brilliant Sky Photography are! Artistically they go above and beyond to capture your day in the most incredible ways. They seem to catch every moment but are invisible at the same time. I wish I could post every photo just so you could see how truly talented Simon and Karla are. I have already said I want to go back to them for future photos of our family, and I will recommend them to every single friend I have. Thank you so much for capturing our day and making our memories forever permanent!

Simon and Karla are really so much more than wedding photographers. They played such a huge role in our day, providing so much support and just generally being there for anything we may have needed or were unsure of (my wedding car actually didn’t show and Karla and Simon were there offering to take my bridal party to the venue). Me and Alex still can’t believe how comfortable we felt with them both, especially seeing as we hate our photo being taken. We could not be more happy with our photos (there were tears and laughter when we received them and when we’ve shown any family members!). I especially love the natural ones that they’ve managed to capture, this is where they really set themselves apart! They manage to really capture the raw emotions of the day and the photos tell a story and bring the whole day back to life. If you want photographers that know exactly what they are doing and will blend in to your wedding day and provide you with the most amazing photos then these are for you! My husband and I cannot fault Sky Photography. They have been great to work with throughout, from our first meeting with them at a Wedding Fair, through to our engagement shoot with Simon and receiving our wonderful wedding photos taken by Simon and Karla. We had to rearrange our wedding twice due to Covid and Sky Photography were very accommodating and supportive during this time. Both Simon and Karla made us and our guests feel very comfortable and captured some absolutely amazing photos of our wedding that really show what was going on and how people were feeling throughout the day. We also received the wedding photos earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise!

Sky Photography took our friends wedding photos and we loved them so much we knew we wanted them to shoot our wedding too! Simon and Karla were so flexible with all of our covid-wedding-rescheduling and even moved their holiday to fit round our final date! We wanted relaxed and natural wedding photos and candid shots of guests to look back on and they were perfect! Despite the rain Simon and Karla managed to take some really creative photos which we love! They are so professional yet also friendly, calming and great fun to have around on the day! What a fabulous experience! We were blown away by the quality of the photos Simon produced of our day. Initially due to the Covid restrictions we weren’t going to have a photographer as they came out of the guest count. We then by accident discovered that the rules had changed (they didn’t have to come out of the 30!) and then within a couple of days we had booked Simon. We are so glad we did! He clearly has a brilliant eye. He just seemed to get so many thoughtful and candid shots. He was also incredibly calm in his manner which is so useful on a wedding day! All the people we have shown the photos to have said how brilliant they thought they were. We were lucky with the setting for our wedding (Dodmoor House), but also Simon seemed to know all the best locations within the venue in order to achieve the perfect shot. Simon was brilliant at our wedding along with John who worked with him, he mixed in with everyone and felt like more of a friend than having to feel on edge with him around. Right from the very beginning Simon was amazing. Our wedding was EXTREEMLY last minute and we were convinced we needed sky photography to shoot our wedding as their portfolio looked phenomenal and night time photography was of their many attributes (being a winter evening wedding this was a must) Simon made time for us at such short notice and the service was nothing short of perfect. Some photographers from experience are always there, always near by and always making themselves known. NOT SKY. Simon blended in with family and friends, you didn't realise he was there until you needed him for anything, and then there he was! This allowed him to truly document our wedding to perfection, capturing every split second that we remember and I couldn't be happier with the images! They are so natural and a true representation of our day. We creeped off for some quiet couples portraits and also had our family portraits. These photos along side the candid, documentary style photographs really caught every moment and we are so grateful. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for their photographer, you will get photos that you will never get bored of looking at and that you can cherish forever. 6/5

We booked with Sky Photography for our wedding after a recommendation from Delapre Abbey. As it was covid and during restrictions we were unable to meet physically with Simon and Karla but we had a good chat on a video call with Simon and he answered any questions we had. Their website also has all the answers you will ever need! It is so easy to use and so professional, right from the outset where you organise any specific photos you like/group photos etc to after our wedding where you can check the status of your photos post production, access your gallery and optional extras you may wish to purchase. On the day Karla made me feel incredibly relaxed whilst getting ready and she was so helpful too, picking up the bottom of my dress or carrying my bag! She even helped calm some nerves caused by another supplier. She captured mainly natural photos which is what we wanted but also some silly staged ones. Simon did the same whilst with my partner, he came directly to our house and fit right in to the guys sense of humour, again capturing naturally occurring moments. Pre wedding we were asked how much time we wanted to spend on photos and we chose to go all out and let Sky Photography do whatever they wanted, seizing any creative opportunities they saw. We had some moments with just us and Simon and Karla, where we had lots of photos that were a combination of natural and creative shots. Both Simon and Karla have a great sense of humour and we felt so at ease with them both. We couldn't have asked for better photographers. Their photography is just incredible and beautiful, they see opportunities to capture things in a way not everyone would see. We met Simon and immediately knew that he (and Karla) would be our wedding photographers, the portfolio he showed us was incredible along with his calming and professional charisma; it was also a plus that he knew his way around Dodford Manor like back of his hand no matter what season! The whole lead up to our wedding Karla would message to double check everything was going well and it made me feel like she was more of a friend rather than our wedding photographer. The morning of the wedding i was a stressy mess, and Karla was such a sweetheart, reassuring me and calming me down. Whereas Jamie (the groom) turned up two hours early, and Simon just went and took care of him coming nowhere near the Mortain Barn where i was. All the way through the day Simon & Karla captured everything we wanted and more, they got involved with our guests, blended in so half the time you didn't even realise they were there. They even left their lunch-break early because we were being so rowdy during our meal, and they wanted it all to be captured. They felt more like part of the wedding party at times rather than our suppliers... So that's the lead up to the wedding, how calming they both are and how perfect they were on the wedding day. NOW FOR THE PHOTOS! I've laughed, cried, relived each moment when looking through them all, over and over. They are perfect, in every way, no photo could be improved. Simon & Karla are fantastic. Prior to the wedding We had met Simon in person to discuss ideas, view their portfolio and he answered any questions that we had. They always made them themselves available for further questions if we had any. The Day of the wedding Between prep shots Simon helped me with my pocket square as I had no clue what I was doing. They both made us feel immediately relaxed and helped us to keep calm as we were both overcome with nerves prior to the ceremony. We felt like we were talking to friends which made us feel allot more natural and comfortable. We had group, couple and some some unique shots (Champagne pop, smoke flares and cigar shot) with a documentary style in between that captured a fantastic narrative of the whole day. They were very professional with excellent communication and direction on a day that was an emotional rollercoaster for us both. After the Wedding Again Simon and Karla made themselves available for any questions that we had. Prior to receiving the photos we were sent a slide show of the photographers favourites synchronised with music in the background. This was a very nice touch and brought the emotions right back. We then received the photos and of course their work is nothing less than incredible. We couldn't recommend Sky Photography enough. Thank you Simon & Karla Mr and Mrs Linnell

Really can't recommend Simon & Karla of Sky Photography enough. Through 3 cancellations due to COVID they were kind, supportive and flexible and tried to accomodate us as best they could. Our wedding photos are stunning and everybody has remarked on how incredible the sunset and smoke grenade pictures are as well as the more casual photos. It is definitely worth having two photographers as whislt Simon was taking the more formal photos, Karla was able to take pictures of our guests relaxing. Can't thank them enough for everything and our pictures that we will love for years to come

Simon and Karla photographed our wedding on the 24th May, after three different changes of date due to the pandemic. We can't thank them enough for their flexibility throughout this period. They were so incredibly understanding and accomodating and made the whole process a lot easier for us. We were determined to have Karla and Simon as our photographers after meeting them at our friends wedding in 2019 and seeing the photographs afterwards. Normally I am the type of person who dislikes having their photograph taken, and I was initially apprehensive about having to pose for photos. I needn't have worried in the slightest. Simon and Karla blended seamlessly into the background of our wedding and the result was that we have some wonderfully candid photos of ourselves and our guests genuinely enjoying the day. Having had our photos for a couple of days now, I am genuinely amazed at some of the shots Simon and Karla took. Alice and I are over the moon with the results, and we really appreciate all the hard work they put in. The website they use is incredibly intuitive and well designed, and really helpful when sharing photos with friends and family after the wedding. As well as being fantastic photographers, Karla and Simon are genuinely awesome people and it was a pleasure meeting them and having them at the wedding. When Simon arrived to take photos of the groomsmen getting ready, he immediately fit right in and was laughing and joking with us. I also know the same is true of Karla with the girls! Simon, Karla, thank you so much for all your hard work. I can honestly say we would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone look for a photographer. My wife and I used Sky Photography for our wedding for 170 guests in June 2018 and they were absolutely fantastic! It was great to have both Simon and Karla there to capture a range of formal and informal shots. They really blended in and were not obtrusive or bossy at all, as some photographers can be. Most importantly, we had a number of family members (old and young) who were reluctant to have their photos taken but Karla and Simon put them all at ease and soon they forgot that they didn't like photos and embraced the cameras! The final photos were brilliant and we were so pleased with them. Simon was also very patient at editing photos that we wanted finished slightly differently. Simon and Karla were amazing and the photos look stunning. We have recommended them to anyone who will listen. Emma and I met with Simon to take our engagement photos before the wedding which really helped to break the ice and gave us a lot of confidence we had made the right choice of photographers before the wedding. As soon as we saw Simon and Carla's photos we knew they were the photographers for us, we loved the natural effortless look of their photos and the fact they'd shot at Dodford Manor so many times meant they knew all the perfect spots. During the day Simon and Carla blended in with all our guests capturing all the little moments and laughter, my wife was worried as the bride she'd be conscious of where they were but we barely noticed them all day and many of our guests said the same! There are not enough stars on this review or words I could use to describe how amazing this wonderful duo are. From our initial meeting to the moment we received our photos Simon and Karla have been attentive, caring, warm and accommodating. With my husband despising having his photograph taken, I assumed finding a photographer that wouldn't make us pose for pictures would be difficult. After looking through Sky's work on Facebook we met with Simon and he came to our home to show us some more of their work and it was exactly what we were looking for so we booked them there and then without xo spidering anybody else! We cannot rate Sky Photography highly enough! We didn't want to spend half of our wedding day posing for photos and we liked the documentary style. Simon listened to all of this and the results were just as expected... no, better! Our wedding day ended up being one of the wettest days of the wettest autumn for many years. A marquee in a field by a lake seemed like a good idea but quickly turned into a quagmire. Simon and Karla booted up, jumped on the tractor and trailer that we had to arrange last minute to get too the marquee and got stuck in. They completely captured the feel of the day and the photos of our friends and family walking into the marquee in their wellies are priceless and some of our favourites. I could go on, but I'll just sum it up by saying that we wouldn't hesitate for a second recommending them to any of our friends or family looking for photographers.

Simon and John captured our wedding day in December 2017 and they were absolutely amazing. Before the day Simon was great in keeping us informed and came to our home to meet us and put us at ease. Then on the day both Simon and John were so great we hardly knew they were there - they blended in with our family and friends so well! They were fantastic on the day and very discreet so they didn't impact on the day itself and we certainly didn't feel like we were spending all our time taking photos. So discreet in fact that I'm surprised by half the photos they captured as I had no idea they were around. Post the day has been equally amazing, we have been so happy to receive our fantastic photos, it's brought back so many memories and their creativity and ability to make us look great has been very pleasing. These guys are wonderful they mingle in with family and friends, they become part of your family for the day. The photos are breathtaking and moving. I love the way, Simon and Karla capture people it’s so refreshing. The lengths Simon will go to, to get a good photo is unbelievable - he crawled backwards on his tummy into a hedge over a canal bridge to get his photo of us ‘the photo is fantastic by the way’ ... Simon and Karla are like two extra guests who happen to be great at photography. Well organised and helpful right from the first phone call. Nothing was too much trouble, including Simon getting sheep poo on his arm to get the perfect shot! I have seen some of their other work which is fantastic but a bit too formal for us. We wanted natural shots, which we got, which shows that these guys can accommodate different styles and work with you to understand your style. Both are lovely people and having now received the pictures back we are thrilled. Every shot takes me right back there and the feelings come flooding back... for us, that’s what great photography is all about. Can’t recommend highly enough.

One of the best decisions we made in the run up to our wedding day was picking Simon and Karla to be our wedding photographers. They are both so warm and friendly and made us feel completely at ease on the day (we’re such awkward posers!). They listened to everything we wanted and helped us to achieve that, with Simon even running through chilly November fields to herd some sheep! Having said that, they also used their knowledge and creativity to come up with some shots we wouldn’t have thought of. They knew our venue, Dodford Manor, really well, which made everything run smoothly, and they captured some fantastic natural moments too. Where on earth do I start!? We were the most unprofessional bride and groom, starting off by forgetting we had a meeting with you, Tristian being in his pants... then Triss being in his pants when you turn up on the big day and me having my wedding pants out on the table 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ honestly! But you guys were FAR from pants! Honestly I read the reviews and thought yea their pictures are pretty but they can’t be that amazing... THEY ARE! Looking through just our sneak peak pictures when I have massive wedding blues and it’s put the smile right back on my face. The photos are absolutely incredible and this is just the start. Our guests have sent me so many compliments about you both and we can’t thank you enough for how easy you blended with everyone, and just clicked away. You also put up with us in the really really cold weather and let us do some beautiful night pictures and cannot thank you enough because they are amazing.
