We were lucky enough to secure James to shoot our wedding day and we were not disappointed. The photos were spectacular! James was able to really capture the moments with all our guests having wonderful photos to treasure. He also did a fab job at new mr & mrs photos, despite the fact me and my partner do not like posing for pictures, we looked great and felt very comfortable when photos were taken. The final photos were shared with us a week from the wedding date and made a lovely honeymoon surprise as we looked though all the pictures. We can’t recommend James highly enough. We booked James for our wedding a couple of weeks ago at Godwick. For a couple who hate having their photo taken, James was absolutely amazing and such a great addition to the day, he felt like one of the party! He made us feel completely at ease, capturing all the shots we asked for and lots of great candid photos. We didn't want to feel like we were off having photos for huge chunks of the day and James nailed the balance of getting the key photos at the right time and letting us enjoy the day with our guests. We got the photos back yesterday, after such a quick turnaround and they are incredible, we are so unbelievely happy with them. A legend of a photographer and would recommend in a heartbeat. Best wedding photographer in Norfolk! James photographed our wedding in September 21 and engagement shoot a few months before that - we cannot recommend him highly enough. James was a pleasure from start to finish - always available for a chat and nothing was too much trouble. On the day he was amazing - seamlessly darting from place to place to capture the most wonderful photos, he made everyone laugh and put them at ease which has meant that the photos really capture how everyone felt on the day. He was the perfect balance of capturing great photos but not taking up a massive chunk of the day with them - instead we have great pictures of everyone chatting and enjoying themselves. Since the wedding so many people have commented on how great he was, and that was before they'd even seen the photos! We are blown away with the photos - all beautifully edited and every person and detail has been captured. The website displays them all beautifully too. We feel so lucky to have chosen James to be our photographer and we are very grateful that we now have stunning photos from our big day that we will treasure forever.

We booked James a good few years back for our Wedding which unfortunately like many got tangled up with CV19. We managed to get a last minute date before Lockdown 2.0 and within 48 hours notice James was there with us. This review will not be able to summarise how amazing JP really is! As soon as we met James, we knew he was the photographer for us! He’s such a friendly and hilarious person and he was humorous both through the planning stage and the wedding day itself. James was like one of the guests. Unfortunately, the weather was torrential rain all day but that sparked James’ creativity more. His photos and ideas did not let us down. Every photo captures what happened at that very moment. We’ve watched our photos on loop and every time we get goosebumps, happy tears or laughter. If you're looking for a top notch, creative photographer who will capture every precious moment of your special day then look no further - James is your man! We had always had a vision of the style we wanted for our wedding photography and couldn't believe our luck when we came across James' website. The few other photographers that we had considered lived miles away and as luck would have it James was local to our wedding venue. We only had to take a quick glance at his website to realise he was the man to take the wedding photos of our dreams and boy did he! When we first viewed our photos we were lost for words, the photos James took for us (all 700+ of them!) are absolutely incredible and over and above what we could ever have imagined. James has captured our big day perfectly and not missed a single detail. His artistic eye is genius and he has created stunningly unique shots that capture all the special moments and memories we will treasure for years to come. (I can assure you that traipsing though fields in a wedding dress and high heels was well worth it!!!) Not only is his photography first-class, James is a top guy and a pleasure to be around. He is fun, friendly and professional and made both of us feel so at ease in front of the camera on our big day (and thats saying something for a couple who really dislike having their photo taken!). Many of our guests also commented on what a great guy James is and how well his fitted in with the day. Well where do we start with James? Friends of ours got married a couple of years ago and posted their photos online for all to see. We were instantly struck by the style of them. They seemed so relaxed and creative and we loved the fact so many of the photos captured aspects of the wedding you just don’t see in formal shots. We contacted James and he kindly agreed to come for a visit and a chat, I think within minutes we knew we’d found our guy. We wanted someone who had a similar personality to us and we certainly got that with James, he just “got” what we wanted to capture on the day. On the day itself James couldn’t have been anymore brilliant, he made everyone feel so comfortable with gentle direction and lots of great ideas (our outside in the rain photo is one of our favourites). We had so many of our guests saying how hard he was working and what a generally nice bloke he is. We cannot recommend James enough, we love our photos and they will be treasured forever – thank you! Just under 3 weeks ago James was our wedding photographer and we couldn’t have been happier with both how he was on the day and the end result, which we already have on USB. All our guests commented on how amazing he was, he blended in well, was not intrusive in any way while taking photos and was also happy to sit down for dinner and chat with our guests! James made us both feel very comfortable in front of the camera which I thought would be quite a challenge for my new husband! There were lots of laughs and this has been well and truly captured on camera! Our photos are simply amazing, he has captured the day so beautifully giving us great memories. Natural shots are definitely the best and this is what James does best. The photos tell a story which is exactly what we were hoping for. James was with us for the entire day of our wedding and was both pleasant and extremely professional throughout the day. Wedding photos can sometimes be long and drawn out affairs. However, James' laid back, relaxed approach to photography meant not only a more natural set of photos, but no boring waits for people to tip up and get the "traditional family photo". Even though we could have done this, it was something we steered away from. We wanted to enjoy our day with our friends and family. A lot of people said he was great to work with and commented about him. His photos were simply amazing when we received them. They made our day even more special. We will never have enough words to describe just how AMAZING james is, not only as a photographer but as a person too. After meeting James we knew instantly we wanted him to be our photographer. We did a lot of research into local (and not so local!) photographers and when we found James’ website we absolutely fell in love with his style. We booked in to meet him (at a country village pub!) and clicked immediately; We spent most of the evening just chatting and laughing. When choosing a photographer for your wedding you can’t just pick anyone! You need someone with a style that you love, someone that can capture your personalities and someone that you can connect with and are happy to share your special day with you and your guests. James ticked all the right boxes and is a totally amazing and funny guy, he makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever and he is an awesome photographer!! He was with us all day long, going above and beyond to capture every single moment. We got married at Banham Zoo and he even ran alongside the train as it took us and our guests on a lap of the zoo……..you won’t find many others that would be up for a workout like that and still managing to get such great shots of us on the move. Words just cannot express how chuffed we are with all 700 of our wedding photos and he really didn’t miss a thing. You really do get what you pay for and more with this guy and would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.
