We came across Josh on Instagram after getting engaged, and knew instantly we wanted him to capture our day, especially after our first chat with him he put us at ease and eliminated any stress about pictures. On the day he was a calm, relaxing and genuine influence. Since then, receiving the pictures recently we haven’t been disappointed. We were absolutely blown away by the quality and the content of the pictures. They captured the whole day perfectly and are just beautiful, we were crying and laughing through the whole album, and we won’t be able to thank Josh enough for allowing us to re live the most magical day time and time again. I booked Joshua for our wedding in May 22 from seeing his work on a previous wedding at the same venue as me ( Waxham Barns), god he did not disappoint. He was amazing. From the moment I booked our wedding I knew I wanted Josh to capture it after stumbling upon his work. I was soooo happy with the pictures and Josh made me feel very relaxed and at ease on the day. From the first moment we met Josh we knew instantly we wanted him to capture our special day. We actually ensured Josh was definitely free before booking the venue. You will understand exactly what we mean when you first meet Josh! Josh was excellent throughout. His booking / contract online system is so easy to use, so all of the important stuff is kept safe in one place. All contact with Josh has been extremely easy. We had a wedding pre shoot with Josh, and although we were both a little worried about being awkward, Josh made it so much fun! We had the best time at Brancaster on the beach and the images that Josh captured were far beyond anything we expected. A real talent. Our wedding day got postponed due to Covid, and although a stressful time for everyone, Josh was again excellent in assisting with the change of dates, on more than one occasion. When our big day arrived, it wasn't long into the day before the entirety of our wedding party were asking how long we had been friends with Josh and that they all loved him! His contribution to our day was more than you would expect from a photographer, he made everyone laugh and captured some truly magical moments. We have already had many of our friends say they will be contacting Josh for their wedding days. The images we received from Josh are out of this world! Photos are one of the key mementos from your wedding and something to look back on forever, so make sure you choose wisely. We certinaly did!

We came across Josh after seeing some amazing atmospheric photographs of an old school friend’s wedding shared on social media. We instantly admired his photography and knew we needed to arrange to meet him. So, it all began in the Urban Jungle café. Josh has a way of making you feel as though you’ve been old friends for a long time when actually you’ve only just met. His warm and welcoming northern self-made us feel totally comfortable, which, for both of us was a huge deal! We knew we didn’t want a super formal photographer who specialised in staged shots, so when Josh described his work to us, it filled us with excitement and we just smiled at each other and knew we’d found our wedding photographer. I loved that he was excited by our ideas and was willing to listen and collaborate with us. His eyes lit up when we used words and phrases like SPONTANEOUS, RELAXED, NATURAL and ‘let’s just go with it’! Our engagement shoot was MAGIC! We had to be patient due to the freak weather on our first attempt but the wait was TOTALLY worth it! We knew we wanted to be photographed by the beach. We told Josh that we were going to bring our BIG kites and he just went with it. The thing is, Josh will completely embrace and make the most of the moment. The day of the shoot, we had incredible light, it was warm, and we were willing, so, we all ended up in the sea. The results of that decision are just insane and we truly still can’t believe that he managed to capture us in such an intense but natural way. We were blown away! If that wasn’t enough, we still had our wedding to come! We gave Josh a very open idea of the selected photos we definitely needed to capture for the family and we totally trusted him to document our wedding. Our day undoubtedly felt amazing and the moments Josh captured ranged from incredibly special and intimate moments between ourselves, our family and friends to fancy dress carnage on the dance floor. If you are looking for a photographer that moulds to your day but totally brings his own fun, carefree but professional personality to the party, then this is your man. Everyone has said how brilliant Josh was at the wedding, he was certainly a BIG art of our wedding day and we absolutely LOVED the final selection of photos. We received our special package this week accompanied by HARIBO’s (my husband’s proposal choice). Josh picks up on every slight detail and makes your day feel completely unique and personal. He won’t just turn up on your wedding day and that’s it, he is the whole package. We cannot recommend Josh enough! He’s a FABULOUSLY FANTASTICALLY TALENTED LEGEND! BOOK HIM NOW!!!

We have had such an incredible journey with Joshua over the last year and we wish we could do it all again! It started like a fairy tale; with us winning Joshua's annual Facebook competition. All we had done was the usual, like, comment and share of his competition image and that weekend he announced that we'd won! We couldn't believe our luck and as we absorbed all the photos on his website that feeling just got bigger and bigger. He was exactly what we'd been looking for, with a stunningly natural style. A few months and Skype calls later and we were meeting Joshua up in England's Lake District, for an engagement shoot in the area where my husband had grown up. It had been Josh's suggestion and he'd driven for hours to be there; proving his commitment to us before we'd even begun. He was as excited about the shoot as we were - having a history of special times there too - and had scouted the most beautiful walk for us with breath-taking mountainous backdrops and incredible lake scenes. After a chat round some pub pints, we were ready. Josh has a way of making everything fun and our self-conscious-camera nerves were quickly dissipated by his energy and love for the process. A few weeks later, when Josh sent us the engagement shoot photos, (in perfect time for us to use them on our Wedding website), we were speechless. Somehow, he'd made a couple of bumbling Londoners, mucking about on a cloudy grey day, look like a tourist board ad campaign. We were super happy and new that our Wedding photos were in safe hands. The Wedding was a whirlwind but somehow Joshua and his 2nd photographer James (Powell also a photographic wizard), were everywhere and captured so many moments that we wouldn’t have ever seen otherwise. They were there from start to finish across all three of our locations and even though we were in a 34 degrees heatwave, they were both beaming away and having fun themselves, which meant everyone around them was just relaxed and themselves. Within a month, Josh had delivered a whopping 800+ photos to us, both as a download link and a lovely gift-packaged USB. The only problem is that every single photo is worth its weight in gold, so choosing which ones to put in an album is going to be impossible! A thousand thank yous, Joshua! We booked Josh for our wedding in June 2017 after finding him on Instagram. We honestly cannot rate him high enough! Before the wedding we met up a couple of times to chat about our plans and he was so warm and friendly and totally put us at ease. On the day he spent some time with both of us separately in the morning and captured some really special moments as well as making sure we were OK! Throughout the day he was there to capture everything but not once did we feel like he was intruding or controlling the day. The pictures he took were all completely natural and looking through them really takes us back to the day, helping us really go back and remember each moment. Thanks Josh, you were ace!

Josh took incredible photos of our wedding that we managed to organize in September 2020 in the dip between Covid lockdowns! We could not recommend him highly enough! There was a perfect mixture of natural photos with people mid conversation and not camera-conscious (which we preferred) as well as the classic outside the front of church family shots. He put everyone at ease and is very creative with photos. We so appreciate them even more now looking back! If you're looking for high quality photos for your wedding we would definitely recommend.

Couldn't recommend Josh enough! Picking a photographer felt like an extremely daunting task for us- how do you pick a stranger to stand with you both to capture your special day?! Luckily we met Josh! We felt immediately comfortable around him and his friendly persona. Josh captured our day in the most beautiful way, telling a real story. In the morning he was perfectly happy hanging with the girls preening themselves before nailing every epic angle of the ceremony at the Cathedral and getting the obligatory family shots. At the reception he seamlessly snapped photos as he moved amongst our guests, showing off the venue and then keeping up with the celidh and tequila time! The photos from the day are better than we can have ever possibly hoped for, we can't stop looking through them to relive the day. Josh really and truly is excellent at his job, he is a dedicated photographer who clearly loves what he does. Book him as your wedding photographer now!
