1yr baby photos. Alison was very easy to work with and flexible. We were traveling from the US and she gave us options to coordinate the session, since the weather forecast wasn't in our favor. Our photos turned out great, better than we expected since our little one was not in the mood. I would definitely recommend Alison.

Alison was fantastic, came and spent the morning with myself, my mum, my little boy, 4 dogs and even got a couple of photos with my horse. As you can imagine getting us all to look in the right direction, smiling and get the lighting right was a hard task but nothing was too much trouble, the morning was very relaxed and Alison produced some absolutely fantastic photos so many it was difficult to chose between them. I will certainly be using Alison again.

Amazing newborn shoot. It is great that Alison is mobile as we found having the shoot at home so much easier and more relaxed. Alison was lovely and calm throughout our session, she handled our baby so well. She is super responsive and very quick to get our photos to us. I can’t recommend Alison highly enough. She photographed our baby in the comfort of our own home and was incredibly patient and gentle, stopping to let me cuddle, change and feed my newborn whenever I wanted to; I was completely at ease. Alison responded to my emails promptly and answered all my queries before the shoot. The prints were beautifully presented and we couldn’t be happier with the pictures.

We loved our photoshoots with Alison (she has done newborn sessions for both our sons). She is very friendly, patient and the photographs are gorgeous. The fact she comes to your house is brilliant, especially when you have a newborn, so there’s no rushing out in the early days and you can be comfortable and at ease in your own home. I can highly recommend Alison for a newborn baby shoot. We had a lockdown baby and I thought that I had missed out on photos of my 'newborn' sleeping because she was almost 4 months by the time we were able to have the shoot. I cannot recommend Alison from AliLulu Portraits enough. I had her photograph our newborn son and she was so accommodating from start to finish. She telephoned to talk through our requirements and style, she rearranged the shoot date to work around our due date, photos were delivered to us on time and any queries were answered. One thing I really liked was that the shoot took place in the comfort of our own home & went at our own pace, taking in to account any feeds or nappy changes. I felt really relaxed around Alison and didn't feel that she was in a rush. All in all it was a lovely experience and we have the most gorgeous photos to cherish forever. Thank you Alison!

Alison is an amazing photographer. We have used her three times so far over the past 7 years. The first time was for a 'rock the dress' outdoor photo session following our wedding, the second time was for a newborn photo session when our little boy was only 8 days old and more recently we have had a family photo session. The photos are absolutely stunning and I would highly recommend her. She made us all feel at ease and she was able to capture our little boy perfectly even though he is constantly on the move!

We have used Alison as our photographer since 2012, she did our engagement session, our wedding day, my wife's maternity photos, our newborn daughters session with follow up after a few months and finally photos of our complete family with our newborn son at our house at the end of 2017. I can't describe how much we love Alison's photos, she seems to capture the perfect moments and the detail within her photos is just incredible, we've seen friends photos and they just don't seem to compare. The equipment and materials she uses are of such high quality that they're going to last for a lifetime, the packaging and presentation is just amazing, so much time and effort goes into her work and she's a credit to her profession. My daughter isn't normally so keen on photographs but with Alison she had so much fun, jumping around on the bed, kissing/cuddling her brother, she really makes everyone feel at ease and is so relaxed when the inevitable happens with newborns (crying or nappy change lol). My wife found Alison's website and really liked her style of photography. We were over in the UK from Hong Kong for a short stay and wanted our 20 month boy to take some shots with his family, especially his grandma! Alison was very patient with our son, who didn't stop moving (and frowning!). We were lucky that the weather was great at Wollaton Hall and Alison was able to take some great shots despite the tight timeframe given to her. We felt she wanted to take more shots but we had a prior engagement to attend to. Thanks Alison and sorry for being late for both the photo and viewing session! You were able to capture a picture with my mum smiling at the camera! (which happens very rarely as she is quite camera shy!) We would recommend Alison and hope to use her for the whole family in the future.

Literally the best experience, the loveliest lady and the most gorgeous photos. Far more than we were expecting. The pictures of our newborn look like they are out of a magazine! If you book with Alison, you will not be disappointed. I would not go anywhere else for future family pictures.

I cannot recommend Alilulu enough. I had pregnancy photos done when I was about 32 weeks pregnant and they are beautiful. Ali put me completely at ease even though I was nervous about the shoot, and I think it's great that she comes to your home so you're somewhere familiar. She does such good preparation, enabling you to share your ideas with her in advance and giving your her ideas, then on the day she worked really hard to make those ideas into reality. The finished photos were fantastic, and it's great that you get both the colour and the black & white versions - if you're wondering whether to have pregnancy photos done, I'd really recommend it. It's such a special time, yet you forget it all too quickly once the baby comes along! So it's a great way to remember the experience. And go with Ali - she is really friendly and a fantastic photographer. Plus excellent communication before and after the shoot. Thank you Ali!

We booked Alison for our April 2013 wedding having seen the wonderful photography she did at a friend's wedding two years ago. Having looked at a large number of local photographers, it was two things that sold Alison to us. One was her amazing ability to capture emotions of the day - you cant help but smile at the joyful faces in her photos and secondly, her photographs of children - which are simply breathtaking. Our wedding had 5 flower girls and 2 page boys, including my husband's two young children, so this element was extremely important to us. Alison is relaxed and easy going, she 'blends into' the wedding and was never once pushy. I barely noticed she was even there a lot of the time. I felt really at ease around her and after the first initial meeting, my husband and I booked her straight away.
