I couldn't rate Glenn Mather highly enough. He took my wedding photos on an excellent value midweek package, which made it very affordable. However the great value price, did not mean that there was any compromise in quality. The photos we received on a cute embellished heart USB (which was a really sweet touch), were incredible quality. Glenn directed my husband, our children and I on the best locations and some lovely poses, as well as allowing the photos to flow naturally throughout the shoot and captured some fantastic natural images. Glenn's communication was also second to none. I received an initial phone call to discuss what I was looking for and Glenn immediately put me at ease with his friendly manner and was very easy to build a rapport with. Glenn also called a week or so before the day to go over the details again. Photos were received within 3 weeks, which I think is a fantastic turnaround. Glenn provided a great service for our wedding photography. From our first meeting he put our minds at ease that we were in good hands and all of our demands would be accommodated in full. When our original photography let us down six weeks before our wedding we rang Glenn who was willing to step in for us. We found Glenn Mather photography after a simple internet search. After sending a few e-mails we arranged for Glenn to visit us at our home to discuss what we wanted for our wedding photographs. Glenn was our wedding photographer at our wedding in September. We had our first meeting in May and Glenn explained all the packages to us and he completely left it up to us which package we wanted (he didn't try and sell us the most expensive package). We looked at his portfolio and said we wanted mainly natural photos and a mixture of finishes, really we trusted he would know what to do with the photos to make them look great. On the day, everything went perfectly and other than the staged photos, it was almost like Glenn wasn't there. After the wedding, we got a wedding dvd through and chose the photos for our album. I was amazed at how many stunning photos there were- some classic colourful photos, black and white and some really interesting effects- like bringing out the colour of our champagne. I must say, I was really really impressed. It is very difficult to get a decent photo of some people (especially my dad, who doesn't smile)- but Glenn not only managed to get beautiful photos, but he captured hundreds of stunning photos of our beautiful day and I cannot say how thankful I am for that. I would highly recommend Glenn, he is such a good photographer and he charges extremely reasonable prices. I now have so many photographs, so I can relive the day over and over. Thank you!

From the first time we met him, he was very knowledgable and had lots of information about his experience of wedding days, particularly how long things take, which we found very useful. Initially, we thought the price was too good to be true and that there would be extra charges later on, but there weren't! We chose Glenn Mather to be our photographer as he was very competitively priced compared to other wedding photographers and his portfolio of work was impressive. Glenn was very flexible for what we wanted on the day of our wedding, and he agreed to tailor his package offers to what we to one that suited us. He was contacted us in good time to ensure we had all of the staged shots list ready and made good suggestions regarding where photos should be taken because of his prior knowledge of venues around Nottingham. As for the day itself, Glenn was unobtrusive when taking the photos, in fact we hardly noticed he was there for some of those that were taken. The photos themselves are of extremely high quality, and the DVD, and the photo album are excellent quality as well. Glenn was very well organised throughout and we shall be recommending him to others in the future.

Can't say enough good things about Glenn's wedding photography service. All of the photos are amazing, and the price was incredibly reasonable compared to some other photographers we looked at. He was completely unobtrusive at the wedding and got some incredible, natural photographs of the guests. The turn around time on the photos and album was much faster than we expected. He went through all the details of how the day would go from the first time we met him, and followed up with us a week or so before the wedding to finalise the details. Definitely a 5 star service!

We came upon Glenn’s website when searching through the many wedding photographers on google. At first it all seemed just too good to be true how could Glenn produce the quality of pictures that others seem to need to charge 2 or 3 times the amount of money? However after looking through the pictures on his site and reading all of the excellent reviews we decided to book him as our wedding photographer. This decision was one of the best we made. Glenn took complete control on the day taking all of the pressure and worry away from us. I was very concerned that I didn't want to spend the whole day posing for pictures but as promised Glenn was very discreet and apart from the specific pictures we had asked to be taken we hardly even knew he was there at all, the result of which produced some amazing natural pictures which we all absolutely love. We were a little worried that we would struggle to get any nice pictures of our children, who really do not enjoy having their photos taken, however Glenn’s subtle approach meant that we got some really beautiful natural pictures of them which we will be able to treasure for years to come. All of our guests commented on how friendly Glenn was and we really felt that he went the extra mile to try and help to make our day even more special. Glenn photographed our wedding back in April 2017. He was really a great find! We arranged to meet up with him so that he could get an idea of what we are like as a couple. Also, to do a run through of the day, to talk about what kind of shots we wanted, who we would like in the formal photos etc. We felt comfortable chatting with him; he made some suggestions to us, some we went with, some we didn’t, that was fine by him. He was happy going along with everything that we suggested too. He kept in touch a couple of weeks before the wedding, making sure we were still on board and to see if we wanted any changes. On the day of the wedding, he was brilliant! We got married in a church, and the last thing anyone wants is the photographer getting in their face, and all you can here is ‘clickclickclick’ while you’re saying your vows. But, Glenn was not like that, we barely noticed he was there, and he took some great shots in the church. After the service, he we had the formal photos, he did a good job arranging everyone. We went off to West Park to take some more photos of the 2 of us. He got some really beautiful shots there. He did a mix of posed and natural shots of us walking and talking (they are probably my personal favourites of us from that day). He also worked well with the videographer he met that day too. When we got to the reception, he took some great natural shots of us and our guests, I wanted a lot of our guests so that we can remember who came when we’re old (haha)! Some of the photos during the speeches are really funny. There is one brilliant photo of my 5 year old flower girl giggling, everyone loves that photo! Glenn stuck around until after the first dance, so he was there for a good 8 hours. After the wedding, it took about 3 weeks for him to edit the photos and to get them on a slideshow disc. There were more than 400 photos there, which we had the daunting task of choosing only 60 for the main album book! It was a difficult choice as there were so many good ones, but it gave us a great excuse to look through the slideshow over and over again. We finally got our album and our printable DVD. He did an excellent job printing the photos, and bound in a beautiful big blue album! The main thing for us at the beginning was to get value for money. When researching wedding photographers, some prices were ridiculously expensive. However, we definitely got a fair price for Glenn’s service. We were very impressed from start to finish with his work. If you want a photographer who will listen to what you want, who is easy to work with, professional, discreet, value for money, and who wants to do a good job for you, Glenn will be the perfect photographer for your special day! When we first looked for a wedding photgrapher, we discovered the usual array of very expensive ones at wedding fayres but they didn't have the sort of personal touch that Glenn gives you. When we stumbled across his website the first thing that went though our minds was "why is he so cheap compared to the ones we have seen?". When the reality is "why are the others so expensive when Glenn delivers a fantastic service for nearly half the cost"! When we saw his photos and other reviews, we just had to meet him and from that first meeting we knew he had to take our photos. His love for what he does coupled with his personality, ability to blend into the background and creativity to produce excellent photos is second to none. Not just pre-determined group shots or the traditional "special moments of the day", but the candid pictures where people are caught unawares giving a natural look rather than a forced smile to camera gives you a collection of photos depicting the whole day seen from many different angles. Watching the hundreds of photos he took of our day as a slideshow almost became a film as they seemlessly recreated the day in full. We can't speak highly enough of Glenn Mather. Book him now!
