Martin was absolutely fantastic from our first email to delivering our final gallery. His communication prior to the wedding was amazing - extremely efficient and informative. Throughout our wedding day, he went above and beyond to ensure he captured the most special moments and photographs possible. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his fun and bubbly personality made him a joy to spend so much time with. Even our guests commented on how much he looked like he was enjoying himself which shows through in our wedding photos. We can’t recommend Martin enough and would definitely encourage any couples looking for a wedding photographer to choose Martin.

Martin photographed our wedding and to say he did an amazing job would be an understatement. Martin was a delight to work with from start to finish and was always on hand when we had any questions. He goes above and beyond and makes it so easy to check your date with his online calendar and to book a meeting too. Our pictures were perfect and captured so many cherished and great memories we couldnt be any happier with them. Martin has a great style where the pictures are natural to capture those hidden moments whilst also providing staged photos. He had two photographers in the morning to capture both mine and my husbands getting ready moments and we are so glad we did. He also provides a link to preview your pictures after the day and when your pictures are ready also which is a nice and easy way to send it to all your friends and family without having to download them all. We over the moon when we found Martin online, he was exactly what we wanted and hoped for from a wedding photographer. The sample galleries and sample photo albums he brought to us on our initial meetings were simply stunning. The entire process was effortless, even with the dreaded Covid rearrangement of the wedding date. The photo sessions were so relaxed, Martin enjoyed a bit of banter with ourselves and guests which was so entertaining and put us right at ease for what can often be such an awkward situation! Wow did he deliver! The photos capture the atmosphere perfectly. They are the ideal mix of spontaneous, natural photos, beautifully posed portraits with a few family photos. We had a few wild ideas about potential poses (one including a motorbike) which Martin accomodated so successfully! We have thoroughly enjoyed our time with Martin. What can we say? Martin and Daiga are an absolute dream to work with. They have been so patient with us as we rearranged our wedding celebration three times thanks to Covid. Martin and Daiga captured all of the details of our ceremony with 12 guests in 2020 and then captured every moment of fun, love and joy at our celebration in 2021. I'm not a natural when it comes to having my photo taken but they put me at ease and created some beautiful shots. From the very beginning, Martin was excellent at communicating and replied almost immediately to many emails. He also came to meet us at our venue so we could discuss the types of photos we wanted. We loved the fact that he has every app going so he can check where and when the sunset will be on your day, etc. We particularly loved Martin's laid back but professional style which really helped to put us and our guests at ease. He has a real eye for detail and noticed all the little things such as asking my brother to remove his phone from his pocket. We really wanted some photos of us in the countryside surrounding our venue, Martin was happy to drive us to different locations and didn't mind traipsing through fields to get the best photos. He even stayed beyond his arranged time as things were running a little behind schedule. The morning after our wedding he sent us some previews and managed to get the rest of our photos to us in three weeks despite being more than twice as busy as usual due to Covid. Many of our guests commented on Martin's excellent approach and skills as a photographer and wished they had had someone as good as him for their wedding. We would wholeheartedly recommend choosing Martin as your wedding photographer.

Martin is like the dream wedding photographer - 5 stars doesn't seem sufficient! From the moment we met him (and his wife Daiga who was our videographer) we felt comfortable and at ease straight away. The communication was fantastic before and after our wedding and he was very helpful when we had to move our wedding twice due to covid restrictions. During the day he was just fantastic - never felt invasive but with his knowledge of Hazel Gap he managed to get us truly beautiful shots...he certainly has a way with the camera and a true talent!!! Then having access to all our photos to download and use as we want; and being able to choose the photos we wanted for our beautiful phonebook we can't wait to receive was brilliant. We are absolutely in love with the wedding photos that Martin has captured for us, and cannot stop looking through them! They are absolutely beautiful and perfectly tell the story of the day and highlights so many of the details and little moments. My favourites are definitely the natural ones where he has captured me and my husband sharing a kiss or laughing together, without even realising we were being photographed, as they are so relaxed and beautiful. Martin has been amazing throughout the whole planning process of our wedding, always answering emails back so quickly, and making himself available for phone calls or meetings when appropriate. He is very friendly and extremely professional, and all our guests had commented on how brilliant both him and Daiga at No Ordinary Films were on the day, and how amazingly well they worked together to capture our day so beautifully. I also wanted to mention how flexible they have both been, as due to Covid, we had 3 wedding dates, and we rearranged with only 4 days to go to bring our wedding forward, and they were both amazing at making themselves available at such short notice. We are so so grateful for the images that Martin has captured, and I 100% recommend anyone to get in touch, as his photos are literally incredible, and having both Martin and Daiga together was the best decision we made!

I dont feel a single review will be enough to describe Martins work. From the initial enquiry he has been fabulous with responding and nothing was too much trouble. Despite the pandemic making us move and jiggle around our wedding Martin has remained cool, calm and collected throughout the whole process. Very in keeping with 2020 the meeting to discuss photos choices was held on zoom which was novel, but again all very relaxed and knew we had chosen the right man for the job. Lets get to the main event.... The wedding!! It was the hottest recorded day of the year but Martin managed to stay chilled despite everyone else being super sweaty and clammy. Martin has such a relaxed style and after about 5 minutes of him being in our room while all the preparation was going on, you forget he is there and just crack on with getting your glam on. Martin has managed to capture all our guests in such a natural way that even the camera shy are glowing! Martin stayed way past his allocated time to photo our sparkler reception where he captured arguably the best photo i have seen. The lighting, angles and detail he pays to each photograph is an absolute credit to him and we would book him again for any event in a heart beat. Martin was our photographer for our wedding a few years ago now. Right from the moment my husband and I met him we knew he would do an amazing job. Communication was brilliant, he listened to everything we wanted and came up with some great ideas. On the day he arrived on time and got on with everyone. My family loved him! He was like one of the family but very professional at the same time. My husband and I both hate having our photo taken but Martin put us both at ease very quickly. I rode my horse on the day and Martin got some amazing shots of me riding her. We received our photos very quickly and the quality and amount of photos was excellent. Thank you, thank you, thank you Martin. You have done such a fabulous job with our wedding photos! Not only are the photos top quality, but you are a genuine guy who just wants to do his best for the married couple! My husband and I had a little meeting beforehand to get to know each other, as well as an engagement shoot. This allowed us to relax with Martin and for Martin to understand how we are in front of the camera. Both of us are very nervous in front of a camera, but Martin made us feel comfortable and we able to just be ourselves, creating amazing shoots which really sum us up! For the wedding day, we gave a list of photos that we wanted to be taken, and whilst Martin didn't guarantee that they could be taken, we both feel the day was full covered and nothing was missed. We had soooooo many comments from family and friends saying how hard you and Christina worked (had a second photographer, who was also amazing!). Martin helped us through all aspects of the photography journey, and was always available via email to answer any uncertainties. The after care was superb, with receiving 3 photos the day after the wedding, then a little preview a couple of weeks after, with the full gallery available soon after (bare in mind our wedding was over Christmas, so in our minds, this was a very fast turnaround). And then the photo album was just the icing on the cake! The website used to select the photos and then design the layout (Martin did the layout, and we made editing comments). Nothing was too much. Thankyou again Martin for all you have done. I cannot recommend you higher! Your hard work has meant we can remember our wedding day to its fullest, which is exactly what we wanted!

Martin was recommended to us at a wedding fair and we never looked back. After following up on the recommendation we loved his portfolio of work and when we met him it was a done deal! In addition to the photography side he also offered video of the wedding ceremony and speeches - something I haven't seen anywhere else in a standard package! Unfortunately our originally planned ceremony has fallen victim to Covid-19 and Martin was already booked for our rearranged date, but from the early days of lockdown Martin was in-touch to reassure and provide a calendar of his availability. Professional photography is a large investment for one’s wedding day, not only in a monetary sense but also in the risk of not capturing the moment as you desire. Martin’s photos were a great treat for us when we returned from our honeymoon – we were able not only to relive the day from our perspective but also see the day from our guest’s perspective too picking up those moments my wife and I didn’t witness – in a sense we got to have our big day twice! Martin’s photos combine technical mastery of his surroundings with his artisanal touch which emphasis the landscape of your venue. Martin’s experience and expertise speaks for itself, apart from a few pre-requested specific shot Martin captured the essence of the day – we certainly weren’t disappointed. If you are planning on getting married then all I recommend is that you choose this photographer! You will not be disappointed with the amazing photohgraphs he produces. Martin is an expert in what he does, and ensures he captures everything you want from your wedding day. All our wedding guests commented on how lovely and yet professional Martin (& our second photographer Kim who works with Martin) was on the day. From the first meeting we knew Martin would be able to meet all our needs and he gave us complete reassurance that we wouldn't be let down, and he certainly didn't disappoint us. On our wedding day he had managed to upload photos of the prep and marriage so our evening guests could view them on a tv screen and even emailed us a preview of our photos on the night of our wedding...which is so nice to look back on the morning after your wedding! Martin was the photographer for our wedding and from start to finish was fabulous and captured our day just the way we wanted. Booking from start to finish was professional, informative and the communication was fab. Emails were answered straight away and was great to chat to Martin before the day to discuss what we wanted and who was important on the day to photograph. On the day nothing was too much trouble and we were thrilled with the photos we received back only a couple of weeks later and loved the different lightings used on certain photos. All of the day was captured perfectly especially with the video footage of the ceremony and the speeches. It was so important our daughter was captured on the day and Martin did a fab job of capturing the staged ones with us but also the real ones of her running around and having fun. From the initial contact made with Martin the communication was flawless! His photography style is perfect if you want them un-intrusive and less posed - but he will take several staged photos if you request. He was great on the day too and managed to get some great snaps! Martin isn't afraid to get on the floor either. And even after the wedding he was pretty pronto at getting some sample photos, followed by the whole SHA-BANG! Photos were well and truly stunning.
