She was wonderful; from making sure she understood what was important to us beforehand, to perfectly capturing the atmosphere on the day. A. C.There just aren't words for how wonderful this lady really is. The whole process from start to finish was absolutely seamless. We viewed her photo album the first time we went to our wedding venue, Iscoyd Park, and just knew that she was the one. In the lead up to the wedding she was so incredibly supportive and geniunely helped us select the right package for us, no pressure at all. On the day, with the nerves and everything she was just an absolute dream, so professional but like a member of the family too. Philippa was so amazing and we all got on so well that the family thought she was a close friend of ours! Her photography style is non intrusive and everyone at our wedding commented about how fab she was! S. D.I started the day with 'all the gear and no idea' (she's not only great at teaching, but also has the best phrases) and ended up with all the gear and really quite a lot of ideas!
I've been on other photography courses, but none have managed to make the facts stick. However, after spending a lovely fun, friendly day with Philippa and the other 3 lovely ladies, I can't imagine using my camera on anything other than manual and am so inspired, that I resent my job for getting in the way of what I really want to be doing, which is getting out there and taking photos!
I really can't work out how Philippa does it - I didn't feel like I was retaining information or being taught masses of technical things, but it turns out that both of those things were happening! Highly recommended.
