Caitlin is an amazing photographer and I cannot recommend her enough for anyone wanting pet portraits done! She wasn’t phased by my tornado of a pup and got some of my favourite pictures! She was on hand to answer any questions before and after, and had plenty of props to add something a bit extra to the shoot if you want it! Great packages offered in a variety of budgets and wouldn’t chose to go to anyone else in future! The awards and quality of her photos speak for themselves.

Outstanding photographer! I had the loveliest experience with Caitlin. She was so professional and had a very welcoming personality. The studio had lots of sweet details that made you feel very welcome. Caitlin was amazing with our little puppy and was so patient (given our pup was very wiggly and just wanted to keep saying hello rather than being a model!). The proof pictures were received so quickly and when picked, the edited ones were returned promptly. We’re so pleased with all of the pictures! I would highly recommend using Caitlin Hodges Photography.

This is the third time I’ve had a photo session with Caitlin - I think that speaks for itself! I absolutely adore Caitlin’s work, every time I get the proofs through I’m struggling for days and days trying to decide which ones to have printed! And this latest shoot with my Miniature Dachshund puppy was no different, Caitlin captured his little cheeky personality perfectly. During the shoot Caitlin is so friendly yet professional, pls so amazing with the dogs. She even let me have lots of different props and outfit changes for Sulley and made sure I made the most of my time with her! The finished pieces are so beautiful and made for the perfect Christmas presents! It’s so lovely to be able to capture my best friend as a little puppy as they grow so so fast! Thank you so so much Caitlin I’m over the moon with every photo you took! Will not hesitate to book another shoot when my puppy is grown up to make more lasting memories 🥰

We took our 7 week old litter of Westiepoo's for a photo shoot with Caitlin. We were a little anxious beforehand, due to how the puppies would behave, especially being so young. We were soon put at ease though. by how professional Caitlin was. It was clear that she had lots of experience with puppy litters from the start. Recommended. Attending two workshops now, they were both well organised and hugely informative. This type of photography has many facets. Caitlin took time to explain the lighting set up, her recommended settings and lens, and of course how to work with animals. Holding a camera and attracting a dog's attention ain't easy. The shoot aside, the editing is considerable, but fascinating. Caitlin's attention to detail is crucial to the quality of her work. In both sessions, she took time to explain her workflow on PhotoShop. I began knowing nothing on PS, to finish with the image here. My photography is completely different to this genre, but I've learned the importance of detail to create an image worthy of some space on a wall. I would definitely recommend this to other photographers looking to up their game..!

I honestly couldn’t recommend Caitlin enough. My dogs absolutely loved her from the get go (I have one nervous and reactive dog) but she was at ease the whole time. It took some getting used to with the noise of the light flash but Caitlin worked with her, found her best angles and got THE best shots. I will treasure these photos forever of my bestest friend Bobbie! 10/10 recommend!

We had an amazing shoot with Caitlin . What she was so professional throughout and was so good with my 2 dogs . She made sure they were comfortable and that they enjoyed the whole situation . We let her take the lead with what she thought would work well and are so cuffed with the photos we selected. The prints are now hung proudly on our wall and one of them is actually going to used on our adoption portfolio for a child as its captures us a family wonderfully . Only thing I would say is that we would have loved to be able to have had more digital files and we were willing to spend more for them but as a photographer that's not how she works which isn't a downside as i really enjoyed it all, but considering how many amazing photos she took during the shoot it was a shame to be so limited . We did have the option of paying for more but only with physical prints which is why we declined as that just wasn't something we needed/wanted. We got given a voucher to have Caitlin take some pictures of our puppy Albie from his breeder. From the first contact I had with Caitlin it was speedy and professional. During the shoot she asked us what kind of pictures we wanted, background colours and was very good in pointing out what to do better to get the best shot. Communication after the photoshoot was also great and we got sent our gallery quickly with numerous amazing photos to choose from. We have pictures of Albie from when he was 7 weeks old and 7 months old, all taken by Caitlin, and will definitely be returning to get some more taken when he is fully grown. The final images are amazing! Thank you to Caitlin for her hard work and wonderful photos!

In Oct 2021 I took my litter of Toller puppies for a photoshoot with Caitlin, it was such a relaxed environment that my pups weren't phased at all, if anything all they wanted were cuddles from Caitlin which of course she couldn't refuse. We really wanted something to give the new owners so we started with some individual shots and then on to a group photo. As you can imagine it can't be easy working with puppies who aren't fully competent at the basics of sit and lie down. But with Caitlin's patience and persistence we managed it and I'm so happy with the photos she took, I will definitely be using her again in the future.

My first shoot with Caitlin and it didn’t disappoint !! She was incredible, both photography wise and how she handled two nervous dogs who then produced some fabulous poses! And I’ve just received the photos !!! 10 stars if I could !!!! Just fab.

What a great experience to have this photoshoot with Caitlin! Responsive, accommodating, ready to take on new ideas & able to give reassurance of how the shoot will go. My dog can sometimes be nervous but she had the best time! The studio is a small & comfortable space which is perfect for pets, so even if you do have pets that love to zoom about the place, they should still get a few good pics. There's plenty of treats & toys to help take good pictures & keep your pets occupied, there's even a well stocked drawer of bow ties! My dog loves her treats so enjoyed posing for a picture, then going to Caitlin after for belly rubs & then back again, she was surprisingly tired at the end & had a good nap after having so much fun in the studio. From start to finish, Caitlin has been so friendly & more than welcoming, any questions I had she was able to answer & she helped me to decide which pictures to have printed, as I was so stuck for choice. So many of the pictures were beautiful & so many of them were funny, I love my dog so much & these photos will definitely be something that I cherish for years to come! 💖 It's definitely worth the price & I would recommend this to anyone with a pet! 💫

As part of a Christmas present to my mum I booked in with Caitlin to photograph my beautiful 2 year old Irish Setter - Purdey, who has recently passed away since this shoot. 👼🏼 While Purdey was in the studio with Caitlin she was able to make our bouncy and energetic girl feel super comfortable in her space. She was able to explore the studio before we started and was also custom to a treat or two which I believed helped Purdey feel eased. Caitlin's profession manor, calmness, care for comfort, consideration and friendliness to myself and my mum while the shoot took place made this one of the smoothest things I have attended. Due to Purdey passing these photos have become extremely precious to my family and I cannot recommend enough to anyone who is thinking about booking in a shoot with Caitlin to most definitely book as we never know when our last times are with our pets 😔 I have also attended one of caitlins pop up shoots with my 3 legged cat - Holly. With all the smells and excitement holly was experiencing, Caitlin still found a way to successfully shoot my little girl. Thankyou so much Caitlin for photography 2/5 of my pets. I will look forward to booking in again soon to capture some more of my fur babies ❤️

We had the absolute best experience with Caitlin from start to finish. Decided to book a session for our puppy after meeting her at a Doggy Christmas market and it was the best choice. Reggie absolutely loved her, and although he wasn’t very compliant about sitting still, Caitlin still managed to take the most gorgeous photos of our pup. We have had two photoshoots with Caitlin and she has been so good with our dogs. She made the whole process really easy and all of my dogs just adore her. Caitlin is such an incredible pet photographer. We first met her when she photographed my parents dogs (including a puppy) and she was fantastic! They were so difficult to keep in one spot and didn’t want to look at the camera, but she still managed to get amazing photos that have pride of place in my parents house. She then photographed our pet rabbit, who was even more of a challenge. Caitlin made him feel so comfortable but giving him lots of strokes and attention and trying different surfaces for him to hop on. We were desperate to get a specific shot that Caitlin managed to capture after our rabbit was being such a pain! The studio is clean, spacious and super professional. The turn-around on the photos was quick and the value for money is amazing! Would 100% recommend Caitlin!

Blown away with how amazing the photos are. My dog cannot sit still for a second so I was concerned at him being photographed, but Caitlin managed to get so many fabulous pictures of him - it looks like he’s behaving in the photos when he was being rather naughty!
