A real gem of a shop that has recently relocated to Ebrington Street in Plymouth. Really knowledgeable and friendly staff who are happy to spend time talking to you no matter how uneducated you might be in the use of cameras and other optical equipment. Long may they remain there!

Visited today and purchased a Canon Ae1 plus lense. Was very happy with the service given both gents were friendly knowledgeable . Price was good and knowing the camera is fully checked serviced with 3 months, warranty it was a no brainer for me. Deffinately recommend. Highly recommended film camera shop! I bought an Olympus OM-2n and a bunch of film from Russell back in September 2020. The price is reasonable compared to those in London. Great communication with prompt phone calls and emails. He took the time to analyse any problem I had and came back with solutions. There were some foam on the prism visible through the viewfinder. This is quite common with a few Olympus OM series. Russell looked out for spares to replace the prism. There were other issues and Russell resolved it with ease. Bought more films from them recently. I'll definitely buy from Soperfect Images again. Thank you for everything!

Russell is helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He bought some of my late father's cameras and lenses. He took the time to thoroughly value each one and then gave me a price for each. He was kind and understanding given that there was a sentimental/emotional element for me in deciding to sell them. Excellent customer service and I'll be going back soon.

My partner and I happened upon the shop this afternoon, and I'm so glad we did!! A veritable aladdins cave for an old school photographer like myself. The range of cameras for sale is quite astounding!! I could have quite easily stayed all day. Talking at length with the proprietor about the range of cameras, he offered expert knowledge, demonstrations and even some photo's taken with specific models. If you love photography, real old school photography, you will love this shop, that I guarantee! They also stock photographic film, so I'm doublely won over!! Fantastic shop!!

Very helpful staff. Film prices a lot lower than other shops in Plymouth. Great selection of camera s and lenses on display. They pack a lot in to a small shop. Only deals with film... Not digatel. Certainly worth a visit if in to film camera s.
