I attended a 1-2-1 lighting and portrait workshop with Gary, he was professional from start to finish. He is extremely passionate and knowledgable with his work and a genuine all round good guy. He worked very well together with the model and I got some outstanding results from the photos I took. Gary has a great style of teaching which enabled me to absorb the information he was providing with ease. For me the 1-2-1 sessions are a necessity and the fastest way to learn, they are worth every penny. I will be booking repeat 1-2-1 sessions with Gary again.

Gary is an amazing photographer. He took the time to talk to me about what I wanted, and I just love the results. He had a great rapport with my sometimes grumpy teenagers, and even had my badly behaved dog doing as he was told! I feel so fortunate to have had a 1 to 1 training day with Gary, not being a professional photographer I was lacking in confidence and had very little knowledge of posing and lighting. I met Gary a good few years ago now and have been lucky enough to attend some of his training courses. This man is the best when it comes to his knowledge of lighting, in all aspects of photography. He is very patient and and spends time explaining everything, including the basics. I have learnt a lot from him and now use my light meter for every session! I have also been photographed by him, for my maternity photographs and as a family portrait. I'm always very pleased with the photographs Gary produces, they are timeless and will be treasured by us for years to come.

I have had lot of training over the last few years since starting my photography journey as a business, but Gary really has such a great way of explaining everything in a way you can understand. I honestly never thought I’d be able to understand lighting as other trainers made it seem so complex but this definitely wasn’t the case with Gary. He always makes time to answer any questions you have even after the training takes place. I’ve done a few 1-2-1’s and most recently completed the PTS course which I would highly recommend! But any of Gary’s training is well worth the investment.

I've trained with Gary on a couple of occasions now. I always walk away with so much fresh knowledge and inspiration. His training is informative, engaging, lots of laughs. He is careful to make sure that everybody feels included explains all points well but moves the class along at a pace so everybody's interest is piqued all day. Gary is the most incredible trainer. He makes you feel immediately at ease and breaks everything down so no matter where you are on your journey in to photography you will learn so much. I am currently attending a bi monthly course which is fantastic, the various subjects are taught clearly, and in an easy to understand format. What an absolute game changer. I collaborated with Gary this year on a 1-2-1 workshop.
