Scott did an absolutely fantastic job of photographing our wedding in December 2021. Due to Covid we decided to keep it small and just have family and close friends. During our first consultation Scott was instantly on board with our vision, and on the day he knew exactly how to capture the intimate and informal feel that we wanted. Scott was very proactive and arrived well ahead of time with a clear plan meaning that not a moment was wasted, but was equally very open to any suggestions and was happy to go with whatever felt right on the day. His funny and light hearted manor meant that he was able to capture some candid shots of genuine laughter as we were left to just enjoy every moment of our wedding. The photos were of very high quality, processed very quickly, and were easy to access. We could not be happier with the service received, and would recommend Scott to anyone.

Scott was really professional and accessible in the run up to our wedding. Our initial calls were great - Scott was really helpful and friendly and even though we booked Scott over a year in advance of our wedding, he still checked in with us after we booked, which we really appreciated. Had a lovely wedding day with Scott as our photographer. He is clearly very experienced and offered a lot of helpful advice, guidance, and suggestions before the wedding and in the very useful pre-wedding call. On the day he worked well with the venue staff and the registrars who all seemed to know each other already. In the end we got exactly the natural, in the moment-style photos we wanted.

What can we say, Scott came recommended by our wedding venue and from first contact to the day of the wedding he was brilliant. He was never pushy and never tried to over sell himself. With his knowledge of our venue Scott was able to tell us exactly how long he would need with us to allow us family time but still achieving a really beautiful natural photo shoot, which was the most important thing for us. He was very sympathetic and emphatic to our requests for the day and never tried to get us to do anything out of our comfort zone, which allowed a totally relaxed and truly memorable experience. Scott made us feel comfortable from the first moment we met him for our pre wedding photoshoot. This broke the ice for the wedding where he seamlessly moved around guests catching natural moments of laughter and smiles. There was just the right combination of formal photos and storytelling shots. We have been left with a beautiful collection of memories of the day and we're surprised by just how many photos and moments captured! We opted to also have black and white photos, and it was worth it. Some of the shots, particularly the formal and traditional ones, have been brought to life in black and white in a completely different light. Like many others, our wedding, although micro to start, got reorganised 3 times in the last year. Throughout all of this, Scott was flexible, helpful and supportive, and luckily available for the new date! On the day Scott was relaxed and easy to have around (sometimes he blended into the background entirely!) He took some amazing shots even though he was limited on choices due to the wonderful British weather chucking it down on us in June. What can we say about Scott? Firstly the fact the he has photographed over 900 weddings is immediately evident in his professionalism and knowledge. He was incredibly reassuring and made us feel at ease while we were in his company. We have been thoroughly impressed with ASR Photo Wedding Photography from the moment we met Scott at our initial meeting to receiving our finished album and prints. Throughout the entire experience, he was professional, patient and really took time to understand what we wanted as a record of our special day. We found Scott through the internet and went to meet him at his office. He was very friendly and helpful and explained clearly what the wedding service included. On the wedding day Scott was punctual, and very professional, managing to take great photos even in the pre-wedding chaos! We are SO happy with our photos and how Scott captured our very special day. From the beginning upon entering Scott's studio, we knew we were in very safe hands! We cannot recommend Scott and ASR Photograhy highly enough. We used them for our wedding this December and despite bad weather and not the prettiest venue, Scott was great with our guests; he was organised and calm, and he took some amazing photographs of the wedding, us and our guests that we love. Scott is thorough, professional and knows how a wedding works... so he was very useful in other aspects of the day too! He plans meticulously and the pre-wedding 'fine tooth-comb' meeting was valuable. Ultimately though you judge a photographer on the quality of the pictures they produce and having collected ours yesterday we are very happy with them. Unlike some with some other photographers, the package we chose got us all the pictures taken in full resolution so we can reproduce as many copies for family and friends as we like. When a little editing was later requested, this was accommodated and even a some help with one of the photos we took on our honeymoon. Would definitely recommend.

Originally, when we started planning our wedding, my husband and I decided we would not hire a photographer as we didn’t think our budget would stretch to be able to afford it. After a few months of un-decidedness we contacted a few photographers who we liked the look of from their websites, to see what the cost was likely to be. ASR were very prompt in replying to our enquiry and invited us to their studio to discuss our requirement. We were very impressed with their studio, professional approach, and work which was available for us to look at during the meeting. The thing which really attracted us to ARS above any other photographer was that their photography felt very real and natural. Unlike other photographers we had seen with awkward posed photographs, or photos that had been ‘vintage tinted’ and blurred beyond recognition. This is just my personal opinion, but even an amateur can make a photo look half decent if they put it in sepia tone. (instagram is proof of this!) ASR had the skill and artistic flare to take beautiful, true to real life photographs, using the actual subject matter that was there on our wedding day. We did not have a fancy opulent venue, but Scott still produced perfect photographs, from which you could never tell we didn’t get married in a country manor. We could not be happier with the result. As well as their obvious skill and professionalism which you can clearly see form their website, ASR were incredibly punctual, smartly dressed, and discreet when taking photographs. They really listened to exactly what we wanted from our wedding photography, and conducted themselves in a professional, respectful, and relaxed manner which took away any anxiety we had about being in front of the camera. On the wedding day, we had a problem with our wedding car driver. In our just married, cloud nine stuper, we hardly even knew there was a problem as Scott stepped in and resolved the issue with the driver, without any fuss.
