Carley is literally the best! She took our family photos last summer and I ADORE every single one of them. Not only is she the most talented photographer, she is also incredible with kids and managed to take incredible pictures of my camera shy boy. I couldn't recommend her enough. Carley took our family photoshoot pictures in September 2021. From the start, Carley has been amazing. We discussed outfits and Carley takes you through everything you need to know ahead of the shoot. The full experience is exceptional. Our shoot was on the beach with our two dogs. Carley was outstanding, not only cheering up our 18 month old but also managing two dogs who thought the shoot was for them! We had such a great time on the shoot and it was so relaxed. Carley has a great talent at making you feel comfortable whilst snapping beautiful pictures. I really appreciated every game and thing she did to ensure we got loads of smiley photos of our Son! Carley also took my requests for certain photos into consideration and the outcome is more beautiful than I could imagine. Our photos are beautiful and we were so grateful to be able to upgrade in order to get all the photos and several prints. Thank you for the amazing photos, Carley and we can’t wait to have another shoot in the future!

We had a newborn photoshoot at our home with Carley. It was a fantastic experience as a new mum I was nervous about getting in front of the camera and feeling uncomfortable, the baby being moody during the shoot or my us not knowing how to pose! Carley had a laid back approach, chatted to us like old friends, putting us at ease whilst she captured beautiful and natural moments. The photos are amongst our prize possessions now. They speak for themselves and it is obvious that every family who has chosen to use her will treasure the images and memories forever. Her eye is amazing and she has clearly worked incredibly hard to develop her skill and talent. She works magic in seconds and my children loved her games (during which she cunningly captured their personalities perfectly!). Everyone had a lovely time and my husband didn’t even find it painful😂 She was also extremely organised in her processes and communication. She fulfilled a dream of mine to have proper family photos (especially as a mother who is always taking photos of her children and husband) and we cannot WAIT to do it again in the future. Our photo shoot was the bright spot in a very dark 2020 but I will look back with happy memories thanks to Carley. Ask anyone she has photographed and I guarantee they would recommend her. I feel like I have pretty high standards coming from the American South where family photos are basically as important as tea to an English person…and a year on and I’m still looking at the entire gallery pretty much daily. We've loved our experience with Carley Aplin so much that we've used her twice in the last few years. Firstly, she created the most beautiful, heart-warming family film for us which I just love to watch over and over again, almost as much as my kids do! It captured a moment in time for us which shows our children perfectly - from my youngest's little waddle as he runs along to the bond between my older two. I'm so thankful to have it to look back on for all the years to come. We recently returned for another session with Carley, this time photographs at the beach. I can honestly say we loved the experience just as much as the photographs. My children loved staying up later to run around in the sand dunes and we made beautiful memories as well as having beautiful photographs taken. Carley was amazing to work with throughout - always helpful, always friendly and always going out of her way to make it a great experience. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for photographs or films in the Hampshire area.

My husband, our crazy labrador and I had a sunset shoot with Carley the day before my baby shower on the 6th August 21, We were extremely lucky to get a shoot with Carley as she is super busy (due to her amazing talent!). Prior to our shoot Carley was only a message away, answering any questions or queries I had and also helping me choose my outfit, it was like chatting to a friend, so when we finally met at the shoot it was like I had known her for years. We took a short walk up to a field with the most beautiful sunset and Carley worked her magic, quite literally as my husband dislikes having his photo taken but her warm, welcoming personality alongside her hilarious banter made him crack the best smiles and I am honestly blown away with the results. Carley even managed to capture beautiful pictures of us with our crazy labrador which we will cherish forever! Carley quite frankly went above and beyond for us, knowing it was my baby shower on the 7th, after the shoot Carley went home and didn't stop there, she sent over 7 photos from our shoot that I was then able to show to all our friends and family at my baby shower and it really was super special to be able to do that. Carley didn't have to do that but from the get go she went that extra mile to ensure that we had the best experience. There just aren’t enough words to possibly describe how amazing Carley is at capturing the most incredible pictures. She has a way of finding the perfect angle, lighting and of course expressions, she creates magic. She has captured the most special moments of our life. I would never hesitate to recommend her to anyone who wants a true professional with the most friendly, warm, welcoming personality. If you do one thing after reading this review, book a shoot with Carley and I PROMISE you, you will be blown away. I will 100% be booking again when out little bean has arrived!

We recently shot with Carley on a cold and windy evening at Southborne beach with a 9 month and 3 year old, needless to say I was anxious! But as we got out of the car and my son clung to me terrified of the wind Carley started working her magic, chatting away to my daughter with promises of bubbles and kites, who was instantly enamored. Carley put all my anxieties at ease and by the time we had walked up to the dunes she had us all laughing and relaxed enough to get some beautiful photos, even with my son refusing to let go of me! Carley didnt stop 'working' the whole time, even when we thought we were just chatting and getting to know her she was getting incredible footage which we will cherish forever. Carley made us so comfortable that my daughter seems to think she is a permanent fixture in our life and keeps asking when we will see Carley again to play the 'sausages' game! All I can say is if you want your family and their personalities to be captured Carley is the person for the job, and she will make you feel great whilst doing it. In addition to the beautiful photos we can't wait to share with our family and friends, we had the most incredible evening at the beach laughing with our children. I had been admiring Carley's photo for while, so when my son got the chance to model in her workshop recently I was excited to see the outcome! On the day, Carley was so welcoming and lovely and my son took to her immediately. She made him smile and laugh and even provided nursery rhymes when he got a little grumpy. I was lucky enough to receive a few photos that Carley had captured during her workshop and they blew me away, the way she had managed to capture those short moments of shy smiles and little giggles was amazing. We could not recommend Carley more if you wish to go for a family or newborn session or just being photographed ! We first met when we went to the New Forest for a weekend and I wanted a family/pregnancy photo session. I searched on Google and found Carley's website which was interested to me. I love the natural lifestyle pictures, not posed.
