We can not rate John highly enough. With the pandemic, we had to postpone our wedding twice. He switched both times which was one less thing to worry about. We were arranged our wedding from a different country so we didn't actually meet John until 4 days before our wedding day. He ran through everything step by step. Made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. On the day we couldn't fault him. He was genuinely excited about our pictures. He was approachable and mixed so well with our guests. He didn't feel like a stranger which was so helpful as myself and my husband were a little apprehensive of the picture of us as a couple. He put it at ease, had a laugh with us and made it a very enjoyable process. When he finished up he found myself and my husband and say his goodbyes. We got a sample selection of our pictures the next day which was amazing. Our gallery was ready just over a week after our wedding day. It didn't feel like we were waiting at all which was lovely. Again, can't recommend John enough, and we're so grateful to him for the amazing memories he captured. Cliodhna and Matthew

I can not believe how beautifully John captured my wedding. He came highly recommended, having photographed a friend's wedding where I was a bridesmaid a few years ago, so I knew I would be happy with his work but I was blown away when I saw the final gallery. John is incredibly friendly, so professional and highly skilled. He has a knack for getting the perfect photo. He was so relaxed and easy to work with, and most of the time just blended into the background until it was time to get the group shots. He captured the spirit of the day perfectly with a great mix of candid and formal shots. After the day he promised us previews within 3 days. We had them within 24 hours. He said the full gallery would be 3 weeks and we had it in 2 and a half. I could not be happier and could not recommend him more highly. Thank you, John!

We hired John to stream our wedding to guests who were unable to attend due to COVID. John’s service was very professional and he was really helpful and easy to communicate with. John went to the venue before hand to test the 4g connection and had numerous back up options should it have failed. John also put together an excellent ending video montage for us which is one of our favourite memories from the whole day. I can thoroughly recommend John Watson photography. John has been amazing and we couldn't have wished for any more from a wedding photographer. We got married during lockdown and John helped us navigate ever changing rules and regulations. We chose to move the date of our wedding 5 days before the wedding was scheduled to ensure we didn't have to wear masks. John managed to move work comitments around to ensure he would be able to photograph our day and even stayed on late into the evening to capture a stunning sunset to top the evening off. I cant recommend John enough. He made us feel at ease in front of the camera, our family and friends found him easy to chat to and the photos speak for themselves-theyre stunning.

I highly recommend John. He photographed our Wedding last August and did an excellent job, he likes to go the extra mile and generally gives you more than you expected (ours also included a engagement photo shoot). On our Wedding he even managed to bring an extra photograper along at no extra cost. He is very friendly and great at directing the kids and older members of your family, He creates nice bright clear photos and sends them to you quickly (we had ours after one month). he also sent us a few teaser photos with the first two weeks and a really nice slideshow. We recently had the absolute pleasure of working with John as he photographed our wedding in November 2017. I (the groom) was in charge of finding a photographer, and with our budget being fairly modest I was nervous about finding the right person to capture our special day. I am so pleased we chose John! He was friendly, professional, accommodating and it goes without saying: very talented. After chatting on the phone about our requirements, we met in September for a pre-wedding photoshoot. This really broke the ice and helped us to know what to expect on the day. We also got some lovely photos out of it to use on our social media accounts etc. He also met with us a couple of weeks before the wedding to chat in more detail about particular moments that we wanted to capture, and some logistical challenges that we'd need to overcome. On the big day he was perfect. Helping to coordinate and arrange people as needed, but fading into the background and becoming "invisible" when appropriate. We're absolutely thrilled with the final photos. He managed to capture some really special emotional moments, along with a great big dollop of our personality. We even had our portrait photos taken at the local Santa's grotto! Weird and wonderful yes, but very "us". I couldn't recommend John more highly!
