Peter photographed our small COVID wedding this summer and did an incredible job. He knew exactly what shots would be best for the more posed photos but the best thing was he captured the day so well without people knowing. He caught people in the moment having a great time and laughing together which is so lovely to look back on. The couple portraits we have couldn't be better, the lighting is absolutely incredible and we are so pleased with them. Peter was great in the lead up especially with all of the uncertainty and was very quick to respond to any queries which always put our mind at ease. We cannot thank Peter enough for the fantastic job he did capturing our wedding day. Peter’s work is truly outstanding and we have been so proud showing off our photographs to our friends and family and the feedback we’ve had has been amazing. Our friends have said they are the best wedding photographs they have ever seen! On the day Peter was very calm and his ideas for shots were inspired and our guests said that he was also brilliant to work with. Peter provided a magnificent array of journalistic style shots throughout of our guests which captured the spirit of our day so well. When it came to the time to take group shots of our guests and family, Peter was very friendly and made us all laugh during the shot of all our guests from the balcony. Peter also takes an array of different group shots, informal family shots and more formal shots of our grandparents and immediate family which when they saw on the online gallery, immediately wanted a copy of. Peter also took fun style group shots that were hilarious. These were of our male and female friends and the groomsmen and bridesmaids with us. When we went off to have our picture taken after the ceremony, the areas for these shots were really inspiring and he made us feel so at ease in front of the camera. There was one particular shot that was of our silhouette with the sun all around us which when we first saw on the online gallery was immediately used for our thank you cards. Above all, our most prized photos are our portraits as they really reflect who we are as people. Peter took several different kinds of these shots including close ups, walking shots and full length scenic posed images of us that are amazing! We have had several of these printed, one of which went straight up onto our wall and others as presents for our families. What we found really inspiring and is also one of the reasons we chose Peter as our photographer, was his different way of taking photos and the way he also uses certain effects which we were really blown away with. He’s not your average photographer and we can’t quite believe how inexpensive he services are when compared to so many other photographers who don’t have half his talent! Peter presented us with a large amount photos which though we were expecting, took us many returns to the computer to look through. We decided to order an album after our wedding as we thought this would be a great way to show off our photos and Peter’s design of the album was perfect. He guided us through each stage of the design process and it was a very enjoyable experience. When the album arrived we were again blown away at the quality of the cover and work when printed and as our album was large, seeing our wedding photos so big on printed pages was really exciting and we show the album off at any excuse. The comments we receive from our friends when they see the album make us feel proud and lucky that we found such a great photographer and we plug his name at every opportunity. Another thing we wanted to say was how each and every single photograph of ours looks like it came out of a magazine! He goes all out to create photos that are stunning, like our portraits which are beautiful and the journalistic style shots are captivating as he manages to take photos of people that capture their personalities. There are several shots of all the Groomsmen dancing together after our first dance which are really funny and the angles he takes to capture all the action on the dance floor makes them very dynamic. There are so many photos on our usb that made us laugh and bring a tear to our eyes and each time we revisit them we see something new and it’s like reliving our wonderful wedding day all over again! Peter tells a beautiful story with his work, and the colours and style of his photography gave our vintage rustic wedding a real touch of elegance and class. After much struggle with finding a photographer that both myself and my husband agreed on we came across Peter on a google search, Having photographed our outdoor wedding venue previously we were very keen to meet with Peter and look at his work. Due to his fabulous testimonies on his website and the great reviews we traveled from Bournemouth to Swindon just to meet so that we could see his work in the flesh... and we both agreed that this was the best decision we made regarding our wedding! On the day Peter put us at ease and we gave him a free reign of what photos to take throughout the day... after all he is the professional! Peter captured the day beautifully right from the bridal prep all the way through to the first dance, this is captured within our wedding album and it tells a lovely story of our wedding day. Peter photographed my niece's wedding recently and produced images that were absolutely stunning. We were invited to view the collection on a private password protected photo gallery. The quality of every image is outstanding and we didn't realise how many photos there would be that captured not only the key moments but so many others that told a story of the day. I would highly recommend peter smarts photography to everyone!! Not only is peter totally professional he made both john and I feel at ease in person. This came across in abundance when arranging the logistics and on the day of our wedding. Our pictures are incredible and I loved how creative peter is with his work.
