It's so hard to put into words just how amazing Steven was on our wedding day, but we will try! Steven was the most supportive, caring and kind photographer we could have ever hoped for, he made us laugh, made as feel comfortable enough to snog infant of him, and he honestly felt like a friend by the end of the evening, we were sad to see him go! When we received our photos, the detail and care in every shot was clear after looking at just a handful. Steven captured every single detail and moment, in the most relaxed and artistic way. Well, what can we say? Steven was recommended to us by our friends who had him as their wedding photographer a year or so before our wedding. He is a fantastic photographer and you can definitely tell that he loves what he does. We met Steven at a Wedding Fair and very quickly knew that we would like him to be our wedding photographer! It was like speaking to an old friend who knew exactly what a couple would want from their wedding photography. He even offered us an engagement shoot so that we could see his style of shooting & photography, was completely flexible with locations & timings, and we received about 200 photos just from this shoot that we were able to use within our wedding stationary (& chocolate favours)! My husband and I booked Steven for our wedding in August 2019. We were an absolute pain when it came to our venue and changed our mind about three times! Steven was not phased by this; instead he was patient and happy to go with the flow. His flexibility made the whole process so easy and stress free. On the day, I was nervous to meet Steven after opting not to take him up on the included offer of an engagement shoot (which I would recommend). However, the minute he arrived on my wedding morning he put my mind at ease and made me remember why we booked him. In a room full of excited women, he blended in so well that we barely noticed he was there. At our beach wedding and a reception, Steven again was like a ninja sneaking around to capture the best photos, often without being noticed. Our guests all spoke highly of his professionalism. During the day, we were lucky enough to have time available to make the most of the beautiful scenery for couples photos. Steven showed so much creativity and enthusiasm with his shots which meant that we were provided with some of the outstanding photos we've seen. In fact, they are the kind of photos you'd see on Pinterest or Instagram! Within two weeks we had our photos sent to us via email. They were extremely easy to access and share with our friends and family. We also have loved that we were provided with an album specifically for printing and one for online use. We have had some canvases printed and they are stunning! The picture quality is amazing. All in all, we couldn't have picked a better photographer. Steven is worth every penny. We spent a long time researching wedding photographers before committing to Steven – we even won a competition for someone else and politely declined! We met Steven initially for a coffee and a chat - it was like meeting a friend. Personable and welcoming we were immediately put at ease, and knew we had made the right choice. The engagement shoot is a must, we are so glad we did it. It meant on the day we were happy to place our trust in Steven and was one less thing to worry about. After finally getting round to booking it, we were blown away with the results – they exceeded our expectations. Having no experience in front of a camera we were both nervous and felt a little awkward. Steven relaxed us and made the whole experience an incredibly fun one. It was the perfect wedding-related break we needed that evening to get away from the stress of other tasks! The wedding day was no different; Steven was professional and friendly. You didn’t know he was there, but managed to capture every moment perfectly. From the moment he arrived in the morning to when he left later that evening he was busy documenting the day. Our brief for the day was to get that one hero shot to treasure forever. Steven smashed the brief and presented us with an album of hero shots. They’re incredible, we couldn’t be happier with them. I have shown his images to other suppliers who are also over the moon with the way he has captured their work. There were a few shots we wanted to try, none of which were too much trouble for Steven; he advised us on the best time of day for lighting and scouted out some lovely backdrops at our venue. One shot was the sparkler tunnel, for some reason it had completely slipped my mind that I hate sparklers and didn’t really like being near them – I just wanted the shot! Steven could see I was quite distressed walking through the tunnel and gave words of encouragement, using laugher to distract me. Both the engagement and wedding photos are faultless. Our only issue is trying to select our favourite for printing! Steven gets my highest recommendation, he is an amazing photographer.
