With my husband being a professional photographer, choosing our wedding photographer was always going to be a difficult task. We searched high and low and probably looked at the portfolios of nearly every wedding photographer in the UK. We wanted a photographer whose style was light and bright but someone who could also create black and white photos with depth (a combination which seems difficult to find). We chose San because of her beautiful style and ability to capture the day in the most artistic fashion. On the day San and Michael made us feel so relaxed and at ease and made the whole experience of taking photos a pleasure. Their service was extremely professional yet personable. So a massive thank you to you both!

We came across San’s website and fell in love with the images she creates, from the moment you meet San you can see the passion and attention to detail she puts into her work. We had an engagement shoot with San, and as we are not generally very comfortable in front of a camera it was a great way to get used to being photographed. She was extremely professional yet personable and showed a genuine interest in us and our preferences. She offered great advice and suggestions, helping us to decide on the style and finishing we would like for our wedding photos, as well as planning for the day itself. When it came to the wedding day, having San there was like having a friend there looking out for you, she went above and beyond our expectations. San and Michael make a great team and ensured they got all the shots we had requested. We have since received our beautifully presented, personalised ‘wedding box’ and we are delighted with the beautiful images. Our friends and family have been impressed with the quality of the pictures and we have received many compliments. San was able to capture the beautiful moments from our special day and we are eternally grateful to her for giving us such stunning pictures to look back on. We will be lifelong fans of her work and would not hesitate to call on her again to capture any future special moments!

San is the most passionate photographer I have ever met. She is a perfectionist when it comes to getting 'the' shot. Her and her husband make a great team. I really feel they got to know exactly what my husband and I wanted from our wedding photos. We had a wonderful engagement shoot and consultation. We spent hours chatting, felt like we got to know each other very quickly. We asked for romantic, non-staged, glamorous and London photos. Even if together this didn't make a whole lot of sense, they created an album for us that was exactly that. They are the most romantic photos I have ever seen and I'm so pleased that we have such beautiful records of our perfect day.

From our first visit with her, it was clear that she is very passionate about her work and that she has very high attention to detail. I had spent a lot of time researching for the right photographer as I wanted the day to be captured like a fairytale; San created this and more. We knew that San would take some good pictures of our son's wedding because we had seen the photographs she had taken at other events. What we didn't expect was the way both she and Mike worked flat out during the whole day to make sure that we got the shots we asked for and the ones that we didn't know we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Many of the guests commented on their hard work, and also their unobtrusive tact in getting some truly magical natural pictures. If you’re looking for some stunning pictures of yourself, Sanshine Photography is exactly what you need! My experience was amazing – though I’m not a big fan of modelling and normally get disappointed with how I look on the pictures, this just wasn’t the case the time! San was keen to know what I wanted from the shoot, how I saw myself and what images I’d like to try. Though I don’t think I was clear on my wishes (as I wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted), they were fulfilled perfectly well! Professional makeover – and I feel like a Hollywood star. Pleasant music and relaxed atmosphere – and I feel free to be myself. With the shoot I got not only fantastic pictures, but also a great experience! And when I saw the pictures… it’s impossible to express – even I was surprised how different and beautiful I can be! Brilliant service!!! Always did her best to cater to my exact plans for the photo shoot which was planned months in advance. Very patient and understanding. San is greatly experienced with outdoor scenery and lighting. The quality of work is great and for the price it definitely lives up. Absolutely the best photographers in the business! We got all the photos and have all ready uploaded them to Facebook which only took about 5 mins as they were presented in the perfect format! We just wanted to say a huge thank you! These are the most gorgeous wedding pics I’ve ever seen!!! Blake and I look amazing! It’s better than I could have ever imagined, you guys are true professionals! We have been complimented non stop about the photos and have given ur details to about 10 people haha! The presentation of the photos was also just stunning! I can't say enough good about San and her husband, Michael. I was looking to propose to my gf while we were on holiday in London and unfortunately a photographer was an after-thought. I emailed a handful of folks very last minute and San quickly responded offering her services at one of the best prices I'd seen. She had suggestions for ideal places around the Tower Bridge (my selected location), but when she learned of my own idea/vision she completely switched gears into helping make my location/vision work. She texted when she arrived on sight and was ready for us, remained completely blended in w/ Michael until I'd popped the question and signaled for her to join us. This is when the fun began. Her and Michael were both genuine, hilarious, and clearly experts of their craft as we walked around the vicinity and where they found the perfect backdrops, angles, lighting, etc. All while sharing stories and laughs We didn't feel rushed or forced into anything unnatural. We mentioned we weren't the most photogenic people and they both offered a couple of tips! Then the photos (delivered in a day) were personally, the best pictures I've ever had taken. If you're looking for a photographer, I couldn't recommend or imagine someone doing a better job.

I’ve known San for many years, I knew her when she was just starting out taking photographs, and her talent for it was clear back then. When my, now, husband proposed to me two years ago I knew that she was my only certainty- Sanshine would be at my wedding capturing the most important moment of my life. San went above and beyond even before the day. She asked about the colour scheme, if there were any elements of the wedding that where important and needed to be captured, and unlike other photographers (who will try to get as much money from you as possible) - she pointed out the shots that wouldn’t really be needed and those that would be really important. On the day she was the first face I saw as I exited the wedding car with my father, she was a breath of fresh air and my nerves melted away- she was a calming force, and made us laugh. She started as she meant to go on, she was running everywhere, and was consistent- she was even the one who told me I needed to meet with my registrar! During the service I was unaware of her presence, but I have seen a shot from the ceremony, and she was there! Capturing the moments you would be unaware of- and the shots are stunning. She did not overpower a single element of the ceremony, the memories from the service are of my husband, she was like a silent assassin armed with a camera and flash. San did warn me of the time (our service was late, so we were losing light) and ever the perfectionist she directed those that needed and managed to get us into the gardens for our “posy” shots. This is where Sanshine shone! She was acrobatic, climbed and threw herself around taking candid pictures as we chatted. My family were disorganised, and she organised them, something me as the bride couldn’t even do. She wanted perfection from every shot, she really cared about us, and that was so clear. I know her love, as well as our own, will be captured in every picture. She did not stop, and since the wedding every single guest has commented on Sanshine, their glow, professionalism and attention to detail. If you are trawling sites now looking for the perfect photographer STOP I can suggest no better to capture the best day of your life! Thank You San Hayley Igbokwe x

As someone who has never been very comfortable in front of a camera I was a little hesitant at having to go to a professional photographer to get some shots taken. Some initial research online helped whittle the likely local candidates down to a shortlist of three and, having spoken to them all, it became very apparent that Sanshine Photography were going to be perfect for me. What sold me, other than the beautiful pictures found on their site, was Sans demeanour. Not only did she take the time to find out what it was I was after (with regards to the "feel" of the shots) but she offered friendly, practical, tips in preparation for the day - things like bringing a variety of clothes in order to go for different looks; simple things I wouldn't have thought of. The shoot itself was much more relaxed than I thought it was going to be and San was upbeat and engaging throughout the whole process, constantly on-hand with feedback and insanely patient in dealing with a first-timer who clearly wasn't at ease in front of the lens. The images I later received were immaculate and far exceeded my expectations. To say I was pleased with the results would be an understatement. In summary there honestly isnt a thing about my experience with Sanshine Photography that I can fault and I'd recommend them to anyone, whether you're a natural in front of the camera who won't need the prompting through to the average "man-on-the-street" who's after some family portraits. You're going to walk away after the experience convinced that Sanshine Photography were the right choice.
