I. L.This is long long overdue but as it’s our 1st anniversary tomorrow I’ve lost myself in our photographs again. Throughout the whole process, Dan was utterly brilliant. He was so patient and accommodating and made everything feel easy and effortless. Me and my husband are both shy and camera averse people but Dan put us both at ease and the photographs are a beautiful reflection of our day and really show the happiness, fun and love that we felt. I would absolutely recommend Story and Colour to everyone!

His photos of our wedding day were everything I had wanted and more, getting two shooters added an even better extra layer of great shots. Honestly we could not have asked for a more professional, easy and hidden photographer - we barely noticed him which is so important when wanting great photos without a camera stuck in your face during your vows. J. W.Planning a wedding can be a stressful time, even without a global pandemic thrown into the mix! Throughout all our date changes, different venues and covid restrictions, we had great comfort knowing that Story + Colour would do everything they could to help.
With Dan as your photographer, he makes you feel at ease. None of our photos felt awkwardly staged. They capture the genuine excitement, joy (and relief!) of the day, and most importantly - we had so much FUN! All of our 15 guests commented on what a friendly photographer we had. His presence is unobtrusive and relaxed, dissipating any nerves you may have.
(Dan even helped us with live streaming the ceremony to those who weren't allowed to be there, which ended up being a really important part in the day for us.)
One month on, my mother-in-law says she looks through the photos almost daily because she loves them so much! The perfect way to look back on the most special day. We hope to have a bigger get-together once covid restrictions have eased, we would definitely invite Story + Colour back.

He was so easy to work with, making it without doubt one of the least stressful aspects of the day and I had full confidence he was capturing all the candid moments throughout, as well as the formal ones. He did not miss a single shot.

I absolutely love our wedding pictures, he has a very informal and relaxed style and captured beautifully the important moments of our big day. His fees are very reasonable. I also liaised with his wife Laura who is a very talented graphic designer for the production of our photo album. I loved our wedding pics so much that we did a family shoot for the birth of our little girl. I intend to do another shoot for the arrival of baby number 2! I can't recommend highly enough
