Cheryl has taken the most beautiful pictures of our family in a place that is very special to us. We could not be more thrilled with the final photographs and will treasure them always. Cheryl was amazing with our three children and somehow got them all really enjoying the shoot, looking relaxed and having fun. The pictures capture our family perfectly! We got lots of tips about how best to prepare for the shoot in terms of clothing etc, nothing was left for us to worry about and we felt so at ease. Life whizzes by so fast and I’m so happy we can always look back at this time in our family. Thank you Cheryl

Cheryl put us all instantly at ease with her friendliness. The photo shoot was very relaxed and was led by our baby’s needs, meaning that we could easily stop and feed her when needed. We saw Cheryl for a maternity & newborn session Oct/Nov 2021 and can’t recommend her enough. Before the sessions, she sent really informative emails about what to expect and reassuring that she is used to toddlers & babies not always playing ball and that she builds extra time into the session to allow for this so there’s no pressure (our 20month old was part of the photos too). The studio is lovely, warm and welcoming & so is Cheryl. She was absolutely brilliant with our toddler and our newborn and we were made to feel completely at ease. The photos have turned out absolutely stunning & we’re so glad to have captured this period in our lives

We had a wonderful photo shoot experience with Cheryl. We love how our photos turned out. Just before arriving our newborn was being extremely fussy so we thought the session was not going to go too smoothly. Upon meeting Cheryl, we were at ease and felt relaxed in her studio. Cheryl's studio was well organised and meticulously prepared for our newborn photoshoot. Cheryl is lovely in person, with lots of patience and was especially calm and gentle in soothing our newborn. Her gentle direction on natural poses and sequence of the photos worked out just right for us. The bonus was that she also managed to photograph stunning moments of our newborn with our furbaby who can be unpredictable with photos. The photos from the photo session are stunning. We love them! Thanks to Cheryl we have a set of stunning newborn photos that documents in images our wonderful memories. Highly Recommend Cheryl Catton as a photographer!

Cheryl has photographed my family on two separate occasions - once when my son was a baby and once when he was a toddler. Both times she took beautiful photographs that we will treasure forever. Anyone who has a toddler will know how hard they are to photograph but she took gorgeous photos of him, and of us as a family. She has great attention to detail and a really clean style. Her studio is beautiful. And she is a really lovely person with lots of patience who puts you at ease. Highly recommended.

We booked a newborn shoot last year, unfortunately due to to covid and restrictions this was postponed and we decided to go for a 1 year cake smash and splash session. Cheryl was amazing throughout, and kept us updated the whole time. The session was brilliant, we are really glad we decided to book this. Cheryl was very patient with our daughter and knew exactly how to keep her entertained for the perfect pictures! (Even manged to get her in the bath without crying, which is a task in itself) The studio itself was very tidy and warm amd had plenty of toys to distract the little one. We got some amazing pictures, and we honestly couldn't recommend Cheryl enough.

Cheryl captured the magic of Christmas through a child’s eye at one of her Christmas mini sessions. The setting was beautiful and our children thoroughly enjoyed their whole experience with her (and welcomed her lovely token of Xmas chocolates at the end). A perfect start to the festive season 🎄 I also had a maternity session with Cheryl whereby I have the most precious memories of my baby bump to cherish forever. We have been to Cheryl for maternity photos, baby photos and toddler photos and we are going to do a family outdoor photo session too. She is amazing and delivers incredible photos of the family every single time. The sessions could be difficult with kids but she makes them fun and inclusive for everyone and the photos reflect how she puts everyone at ease and gets the most natural and perfect photos you could ever ask for. Cheryl did a newborn session for our twins, and we could not be happier with the results. She was very good at keeping the babies calm and quiet, and went out of her way to make the studio a comfortable environment for them. The poses she was able to get them into were lovely as well. Cheryl's style is very clean and simple which is exactly what we wanted. Other places we looked at were a bit too posed and cheesy for us. Personally I'm not very photogenic, but Cheryl managed to produce what I think are the best photos I've ever had taken of me, and to have them with our boys in a well was the icing on the cake. Could not recommend her more.

Cheryl did a newborn photo shoot of my two week old child. She was very professional and the shoot was well organised. Ahead of the day Cheryl provided information about how to prepare and what to expect. I was able to share examples of the type of shots I like and on the day she had prepared a list of poses which reflected my choices. Her studio is professional, clean and private. Her open and welcoming character meant I felt relaxed in the session. It is well set up to soothe a child and my child was peaceful throughout! The prints I have from the photo shoot perfectly capture our new family in a natural way (I’m not a fan of some of the over stylised newborn photography) and look very professional. There was also not a big sales push from Cheryl when choosing what to buy, which I appreciated. I highly recommend Cheryl and will be back for more shots as my child gets older.

I booked a 1 year cake smash session with Cheryl through the recommendation of another photographer. Cheryl fitted me in last minute for a session with her, which I was really grateful for as wanted my son to be photographed as close to 12 months as possible and before Xmas. When we arrived for the photoshoot Cheryl invited us in to her lovely home and made us feel really welcome, which really put both me and my little boy at ease. Cheryl remained professional throughout the photoshoot, but was great with my little one who was 13 months at the time and she really knew how to get his attention and make him smile for photos. He really loved the balloon that she got him, and was used in the photoshoot which I thought was a great touch and captured some lovely pics of him. My little boy also really enjoyed the cake smash and Cheryl really encouraged him to get stuck in and destroy the cake lol. Cheryl took the time to make sure my little one was comfortable and understood his very active nature as he does not like staying still haha! The pictures I received from Cheryl are wonderful and hence I upgraded to her top package as just couldn’t choose between all the amazing pics. I feel Cheryl really captured my sons cheeky personality in the pictures and are memories that I will treasure forever. Wish I could have had the option with my daughter who is now 11. Will definitely be looking at getting a family shoot with Cheryl to capture my 2 beautiful children together. Cheryl’s packages also include a lot for the money and really looking forward to receiving my wall art and mounted pics. If you have a child around the 1 year mark I would definitely recommend the cake smash session with Cheryl as it is great fun, very messy lol and something you will treasure and remember forever. Thank you again Cheryl for your professional service and for taking the time to answer all my questions resulting in a great photoshoot and great pics of my son really reflecting his personality.
