We feel so pleased that we chose Kevin for our special day. In the lead up, he was regularly in touch, responded to queries almost immediately and really helpful and flexible in the planning process. We were married in the pandemic and there were lots of restrictions for our day. Kevin was adaptive, reassuring and despite the restrictions, captured everything we wanted him to and more. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and we will cherish our beautiful, creative and unique photos forever.

From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, Kevin was super responsive, upbeat, and had a great sense of humor that put us at ease. Many guests at our wedding commented on how cool and fun he was (not an easy feat while trying to organize group photos!). One thing I really like about Kevin's work is the range you get. You get your classic romantic portraits, your candid guest shots, and you get some shots with an artistic flare (my personal favorite). We loved our experience with Kevin and can't wait to get a photo album made!

When we first started planning our wedding in 2019, Kev was one of the first people we got in touch with. After seeing his work online, we knew we didn't want anyone else to photograph our day, and from the moment we first got in touch with him it was clear we'd made an excellent decision! Kev was professional and friendly from the very start, and so accommodating when it came to having to reschedule our wedding again and again during the course of the pandemic. His flexibility and kind words made what could have been a really stressful time that much easier. When it came to the day Kev really listened to what we wanted and with his relaxed demeanour put everyone at ease. We are not particularly comfortable in front of the camera but he captured so many brilliant moments: from the early stages of getting ready to late into the reception. We absolutely love the photos (our house looks a bit like a shrine now as we printed so many) and will cherish the memories forever. If you are looking for a relaxed, creative, professional photographer that will go above and beyond - then look no further!

Long review below but basically Kev was the best! He calmed everyone right down, captured amazing candid and staged moments, and let us be 'us' in the photos! After I got engaged I spent hours trawling Google and instagram for an amazing wedding photographer, and I came across Kev's website. The photos were amazing, he had five star reviews, but the biggest thing that appealed to me was how he went above and beyond for his clients. Whether that be making them feel comfortable in front of the camera (my husband and I are quite awkward), knowing how to make an unruly 5 year old stand still (and smile) for photos, and he is one of the few photographers that doesn't sod off after the first dance!! Due to Covid we had to cancel our wedding in June and instead opted have a smaller ceremony in August at the Bar Convent Chapel in York. Thankfully Kev was able to rearrange some plans and was able to join us which we are eternally grateful for as we love the photos so much. Kev was the best at chatting with the guests (they all loved him), he somehow remembered everyones names and was so good with dealing with my 'enthusiastic' 5 year old nephew! I couldn't get over how great the photos were and I honestly was a bit mesmerised as to how Kev captured them as I didn't even notice him taking most of them, he really did just blend in! I would recommend Kev to everyone that wants to feel relaxed and comfortable on their wedding day, safe in the knowledge that all the special moments will be captured by Kev. We are having Kev photograph our blessing and reception in 2022 as well, that is how amazing he is!

We chose Kev for his creative and personalized photography style and we didn't want those generic standard wedding photos. He captured the 'moments' we really wanted and some special memories. He's discreet in taking photos and to be honest we forgot he was there most of the time! Just the best EVER! From the amazing pre wedding shoot that was just such a laugh, to being so understanding when the wedding got cancelled because of COVID, to rescheduling and then just being the best on the day when it finally got here, Kev has been so much fun to work with and to get to know. He has such a great natural way about him that put us both at ease, as well as all our guests. We had some many comments on how great he was! And the photos are just out of this world. We are not the most comfortable people in front of the camera, but Kev worked wonders and really made it look like we knew what we were doing. I spent ages agonising over which ones to print because they all look amazing. He does these amazing videos too, which are just stunning - brought me to (happy!) tears and gave us something really special to show the people who couldn’t be with us because of everything. Highly recommend Kev. He was great helping us with Covid date changes (twice!) and was amazing on the day. How do we express how wonderful we found Kev's work?? His photography of our wedding has completely transported us back, Kev seemed to be everywhere and truly captured the spirit and emotions of a really special day. He's incredibly creative and talented, capturing beautiful portrait shots as well as action shots throughout. We didn’t want the traditional photos or have to spend an enormous amount of time posing for photos. Kevin was so great to work with and he understood exactly what we wanted. Through a combination of artistic talent, energy, excellent communication, professionalism and planning, Kev has provided us with a perfect photographic reminder of our special day that we will cherish forever. We knew right from our test-shoot, which gave us a brilliant shot for our invites, that Kev's fun and friendly nature alongside his eye for a great photo meant that we would not be disappointed. Oh where do I start with how utterly amazing Kev has been and how beautiful our wedding pictures were! We booked Kev as our photographer for our wedding in September and from the first email he was so lovely and professional. I don't know if people realise what a big part of the day the photographer is and how important it is to get someone that fits with you both and gets exactly what you want. Kev did all that, he was fantastic, throughout the whole day he was there, in the background taking shots and capturing the most beautiful pictures. He blended in so well with everyone you wouldn't realise he was taking a picture until you heard the clicking of the final shot! Everyone loved him, noone felt uncomfortable and the end result was perfect. I don't know how to express in words how thankful we are we picked Kev and how much he became part of our day and gave us memories that would last forever. I can not recommend Kev enough, you'll not find better.

I read a lot of reviews for photographers before finally asking Kev if he'd like to do the deed. I am soooo glad I did!! If you want another awesome wedding guest who will slot in perfectly with your friends and family yet just happens to be taking the most amazing photographs...go with Kev! So easy to talk with, have a laugh with and take direction from. I mean he had to work with myself and my husband, two of the least photogenic people around yet we actually have the most amazing shots from the day...he's a miracle worker!
