Allan was our photographer back in September at Carlton towers in Goole, a venue he had never shot at before and one not too close to his home town. After we originally enquired about using him, he set up a meeting at his home so we could go over the fine details and see the products he had to offer, along with previous work. After deciding to go with him, he was in contact multiple times to check everything was ok, and was always very quick to answer any questions we had. On the big day he was absolutely perfect, we could not have asked for more from a photographer. From the minute he turned up it was go go go!! very friendly and professional, taking into account what we wanted and being able to capture it perfectly. No complaints from him at all even though it was a very long day, acted just as any of the other wedding guests (who also noticed how friendly he was). Great service and Value for money, very happy with all our photos, wouldn't change a thing. definitely would recommend

Wow! Where do we start... as two people who don’t like their photograph and photographs being taken, it was a pretty impossible task for any photographers to take on. From meeting Allan at Sandburn Hall’s wedding fair he rose to the challenge, put us at ease and reassured us that he could get some natural shots to capture our beautiful day. We were not disappointed! Allan took time at our pre-wedding shoot to get to know us including our family and friends to capture the special moments of our big day. We also enjoyed having our photographs taken which is credit to Allan’s skills. Allan made the whole process from start to finish stress free by responding to emails and texts promptly and ensuring that no ask was impossible. On our wedding day Allan was so discrete that we forgot he was there (sorry Allan)! Our wedding photographs link were sent to us whilst on honeymoon in Thailand. They capture our magical day and we couldn’t be happier with them, they go above our expectations! The only downside is that we have only just received our albums, due to not being able to choose which photographs, as we LOVE them all. Our albums are very high quality and we will treasure them. We were recommended Allan by a friend and from the first time of meeting him he was so friendly we instantly knew he was the photographer we wanted. My husband hates his photo been taken and allan made it all so relaxed and not over staged that he didn’t even feel as though he was even having photos done! Thank you Allan for doing the photography at our wedding! After spending quite a lot of time looking at different wedding photographers in York, I really loved Allan's style of relaxed wedding photography. Allan was brilliant on the day and made myself and my husband feel relaxed in front of the camera (especially important as weddings are a long day!). As well as taking the photographs, Allan was so helpful in every aspect, making sure people kept moving when needed whilst capturing the occasion. Super Duper Photographer... Throughout the whole process Allan was professional and more importantly very friendly. Once we had met and discussed our wedding plans we knew he was the right guy for the job. He kept in touch at regular intervals and we could tell he cared about us and making our wedding day memorable. We really enjoyed our pre-wedding shoot, we would highly recommend him for non-wedding photography also. Allan was a god-send on the day, he made us feel really comfortable and helped out wherever possible, adjusting button holes and such. The whole day was captured beautifully and he had the proofs ready for us before we returned from honeymoon. Very impressed with his work and would recommend Allan to anyone and everyone.

My partner and I chose Allan Scott Photography for our wedding day in March 2018 after seeing him at a wedding fayre. There is just no words to justify how professional, friendly and amazing allan is at his job! Prior to the wedding, Allan was extremely welcoming, invited us to his studio, responded to emails quickly, and was able to talk us through the wedding day in detail and what he would do for us step by step to capture our special day. He ensured that he knew what we wanted as couple to make sure we got the photos that we wanted to document our wedding as we wanted. He was a true professional throughout the day, extrememly organised and very disrcreet throughout the day. Family and friends commented about how lovely and friendly he was, and how 'not in your face' he was unlike some photographers. He was a part of the wedding. I especially liked that Allan was not afraid to take control of situations to get the shots that we wanted, think on his feet, and was able to work the crowd and change plans after discussion with us. One minor issue at our wedding was the weather, Allan had already discussed a plan with us prior to the wedding in the event of rain, and he was fully capable of producing some fantastic photo shoots indoors and out and knew the best times to do this. Since the wedding I personally have been a right pain with getting organised to order my wedding album, but Allan has been very understanding, patient, and has kept in touch with me via email. We have finally ordered our album and we cant wait to see it and show our family and friends. This guy knows what he is doing and I cannot reccomend Allan enough as a photographer!
