I would certainly recommend Rob. We had some family portraits taken for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, as their anniversary gift from the rest of the family. The entire service, from initial contact to production of prints, was very quick and professional. I have to confess that I do not like having my photo taken, and so was not looking forward to the sitting. However, Rob instantly put everyone at ease and I really enjoyed the experience in the end. He was particularly good with my nephews (4 and 7) who were not keen to sit still for very long. And most importantly, we are all delighted with the photos!

We have been visiting Rob for a number of years having family and children's portraits done. He very friendly and professional and the studio is fantastic. He is great with the children and we always have fun on 'Picture Day'. His multi purpose studio is great for the photo shoots, the viewings (always the hardest bit but Rob is efficient and helpful in with our decisions) and when we pick the prints up they are always displayed beautifully which makes the whole experience more special and personal. We will continue to visit Rob for many years to come as he helps capture memories of our children growing up.

Rob has been taking our family pictures since he covered our wedding for us in 2007. We have never failed to be amazed at the pictures he takes which have always captured the essence of our personality. The service Rob provided for our wedding photography was outstanding from him unobstrusive coverage, keeping everyone relaxed, knowing the best places to get shots and reseaching the areas beforehand. The finished album and DVD of photos set to our first dance are truly wonderful. We had the link to view the pictures within days and attended a viewing at the studio which was done on a large screen. Rob was so patient with us when trying to whittle down the best pictures and has a fab systems for doing this. Our subsequent family portrait studio sessions have been equally sucessful and Rob works really well with babies and small children to get the best from them. Rob is professional, talented, calm and really knows how to take the best pictures. I wouldnt hesitate to use him for any future photgraphy work we need, whether this be family studio portraits, location photography, wedding photgraphy, baby photographs etc.

Rob photographed our wedding back in March 2013. Right from my first conversation with Rob about photographing our wedding it was simple and stress free. He showed us a series of previous wedding photos on a big screen, leaving us to look and talk between ourselves about what we wanted. We liked the informal photos he takes along with some of the more traditional (to keep the older folks happy). Some of the effects he uses are simply stunning and we knew he would produce photos which would not only add to our great memories of the day but be something we would be proud to show our family and friends. We had chosen to get married a York registry office, a beautiful listed building with lovely gardens outside. Rob went along before the day to familiarise himself with it as he had not photographed there before. We did not want the full wedding package Rob offers, we simply wanted some photos of us arriving, the wedding and a selection of photos after, and that's exactly what we got. We had some fun and traditional photos taken in the gardens, and with our land rover wedding car and then went for some photos just the two of us and Rob in the Museum Gardens where Rob produced some simply stunning photos. Having agreed with Rob some photos could go straight onto Facebook it was great that whilst we were having our wedding meal, our guests could see some of the wedding pics, it certainly created a buzz! We had access to our wedding photos on line to choose from very quickly and once chosen they were ready to pick up quickly too. I can't recommend Rob strongly enough, he is a fantastic photographer, but he also has a sense of humour and was great at making what can be a nerve wracking day a bit easier.

Rob has been taking photos for my family since I was a little girl (I’m 23 now), he’s always provides the best service going out of his way to work round a time that suits us. I’ve recently had a baby and we wanted pregnancy and newborn pictures done the photos where absolutely amazing, we also took our year and a half old dog and our 9 week old puppy to have pictures with our baby (I know why people say not to work with animals or children now) but rob was so patient and got some outstanding pictures for us, can’t recommend enough!
