I've been seeing Louise following the birth of my son, and she has been fantastic. She adopts a holistic approach focusing on the whole body and works with you to help you to reach your goals. I would wholeheartedly recommend Louise to anyone needing physiotherapy for whatever reason. She's made such a big difference to me and my health.

Louise is a miracle worker!
Having ignored an ongoing hip issue which was further aggravated by childbirth I finally bit the bullet & went to see Louise - it’s been a life changing decision.
Louise worked wonders through her assessments, massages, physio & acupuncture. Her approach is reassuring, clearly explained and also very realistic with the setting of exercises & work/life with a toddler.
I finally have a pain free hip which I can move freely all thanks to her.
I would highly recommend Louise, especially to those in the post partum phase.

I had a Mummy MOT with Louise three months after my emergency c section. The official guidance said I could start exercising again at this stage but I felt like I needed an expert to check me over before I dived into running and classes again. I had very poor mind / body connection with my abs and Louise showed my how to engage them again. She also gave me exercises to help with my minor ab separation. Most importantly she gave my confidence in the ability of my body again and after some ground work I am now back to running again, with no pain or discomfort. I would highly recommend any new mums to have the Mummy MOT with Louise.

After having my first baby I was eager to get back to exercising but felt nervous as to what was safe and practical for my post-partum body, there is an abundance of information online and I honestly felt quite overwhelmed by it. The Mummy MOT sounded like it would be invaluable in my journey to getting back to my pre-pregnancy fitness. Louise instantly put me at ease and thoroughly explained each part of the process, I left my first appointment with her feeling confident and excited in how to move forward rebuilding & strengthening my body. I’ve since had a further check-up with her and was really pleased to hear that all aspects were improving but also felt really reassured that was I going in the right direction. As a qualified Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor, Louise Brown has helped me no end with exercising and improving my core strength. Having suffered with Rheumatoid Arthritis for nearly 40 years and being unable to exercise safely, Louise has changed my life. She is able to adapt movements to cater for any pain I have , at any given time and still enable me to work on different muscle groups to gain strength. Louise is professional, kind and shows great empathy for all her clients. I would wholeheartedly recommend her services, both Physiotherapy and Pilates.

Louise is the third physio I have seen about my injury and she is the only one to identify the problem with my knee. I have seen more improvement in my recovery in two weeks with Louise, than the eight weeks with my previous physio. The exercises have been very specific to my issue and have strengthened my knee massively. I would recommend her to anyone!

Louise is a brilliant physio and Pilates teacher. I first started going to see her a few months post partum after my second child suffering with pelvic girdle, back, knee and hip pain. I've tried various treatments over the years for this including chiropractic & osteopathic but nothing has given me long lasting relief or results. Louise told me that we needed to strengthen my core as well as treat the pain . As well as amazing hands on treatment she has given me exercises to do at home & I've been doing her online Pilates class too. The pain is much improved I & feel physically stronger than I have done in recent years. Louise is friendly, knowledgeable & really talented at what she does. I have been attending Lou’s Pilates classes for over a year, first in the studio and then via Zoom. The classes are enjoyable and have been hugely beneficial in strengthening my core and a longstanding hip problem has improved massively. She is very knowledgeable about the body of a (peri)menopausal woman and helped me get on top of most of the body aches through her fysio treatments and her Pilates class. Only just started treatment with Lou, but she already has made such a good impression on me as she listens to get to the root of the physical problems. I am looking forward to tackling the problems with my back together with her. I also do her Pilates class and she creates the best friendly environment to do these sometimes intricate and tough exercises, with clear instructions and a soothing, motivating voice. She takes time to really listen to you and understand what the problem is, then explains what’s causing it and what to do to improve it. Amazing physio treatment and care from LB Physiotherapy. As a tennis coach I was suffering from an overuse shoulder injury where it would hurt every time I hit a high ball and even basic steering wheel manoeuvres were really painful. Three sessions with Louise and doing the recommended exercises daily and I can plank, do press-ups (impossible a month ago) and my shoulder feels great. All I need now is for tennis to get the green light! Thanks Louise : )

Lou has been helping me with some areas of postpartum recovery , using both her knowledge of Pilates and other methods of physio to help me.
Lou’s Pilates classes are absolutely excellent, tailored to cater for everyone and for me personally have most definitely helped strengthen my core muscles post pregnancy, which was my personal goal. Her classes would be enjoyable for everyone whether they were looking to recover from an injury/weakness or had no problems whatsoever and just wanted to partake in a low impact & fun class whilst still achieving an all over body workout.
Lou is kind, knowledgable and most importantly she listens, she is eager to help clients progress and I have definitely benefited from her wealth of knowledge, experience and advise!
