Amanda was recommended to me by several friends who had been to see her. From the beginning the communication was excellent and she outlined everything very clearly, she was easily contactable for any queries and had a flexible appointment schedule. Having also seen an NHS physio for the same issue I can comment that Amanda’s assessments were extremely thorough and the treatment plan was goal orientated and tailored to what I wanted to achieve at a realistic pace for me. Amanda is very professional and personable, I felt comfortable discussing sensitive issues with her. She has helped me to understand my pelvic floor (including things I had been doing for years which weren’t helping the situation and I had no idea) as well as regain my confidence postpartum and I am very pleased with the results so far. I would recommend a postnatal assessment for any new mum! The clinic itself has a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, it is easy to locate and park.

Recommended by my pilates teacher, I started working with Amanda prior to my total hysterectomy. I came with very limited knowledge and she immediately gave me invaluable tips which greatly assisted by recovery. She is extremely professional, personable and creates a relaxing environment where open and honest conversation can be conducted about sometimes sensitive subjects. I have been working with Amanda for a year now and have been really impressed with her knowledge and her ability to create practical tailored action plans. From the initial contact with Amanda I felt reassured. She was professional and friendly in all the communications before our appointment and so lovely when we met in person. Amanda was very clear about what would happy throughout the appointment so I quickly felt confident I could relax and trust her in what could be a daunting experience. She is clearly knowledgeable and so happy to share her information, I now feel much better able to understand how my pelvic floor is (and should!) be working. My experience with Amanda was a great one. Her clinic is in a lovely, welcoming setting and she makes you feel at ease. Seeing Amanda changed my life. I had two babies 19 months apart and I didn’t think I would recover from the pregnancy and birth trauma to my pelvic region. I contacted Amanda in August when I began having problems with my pelvic floor. After an initial telephone chat I went to see Amanda at her clinic, already feeling reassured that my problem could be helped in some way. Amanda asks many questions, really listens and understands the problems that having a pelvic floor problem can cause. After an examination she was able to confirm what my problem was and recommended a group of exercises to follow plus gave me tips on how to safely carry out other activities. I've been seeing her monthly for reviews and I'm really pleased with the progress I've made so far - Amanda is very encouraging. As a side 'bonus' the exercises have also resolved the occasional bladder problems I was having.
