Ruptured Achilles - as an avid sportsman and footballer I was unfortunate enough to rupture my achilles tendon playing football, doctors had said I would of been better of breaking the bones in the bottom of my leg from a recovery perspective, which was distressing to hear I was recommended to see Alan from a close friend of mine and what a recommendation it was and I have gone onto and will continue to refer people to him. From the very first meeting he was honest, re-assuring and clear with a road to recovery. He stressed he wouldn't rush the process even though he knew I was keen to play again. Every exercise, every rep was talked about in detail. Alan would alway say he was free for any questions in between the times we met up and had treatment. From the outset I understood my recovery would take 12+ months however 8 months since and I will start to play again, thanks to Alan

After years suffering from a chronic injury following a car accident, within minutes Alan was able to identify the problem I was 'putting up with'. He taught me straightforward exercises that I could perform at home in between sessions. I am able to self manage at home now. Alan is a first class Physio who recently helped me with a long term calf muscle problem. Not only did Alan provide the appropriate treatment to help me get back to my full sporting activities. He also provided practical and continuous training methods that have allowed me to self manage the previously recurring issues.
