I love this gym and have been attending classes several times a week for 6 months now. I do both the strength classes with Carole and Pilates with Lisa. Both are excellent. For the strength sessions in the gym, class sizes are very small so you get lots of personal instruction and the sessions are varied and fun. I’ve never been a regular gym goer before as I felt a bit intimidated, but I feel totally at ease here. My strength, balance and fitness are loads better now and I feel I know so much more about the correct form for the various exercises, to avoid any injury. Highly recommend!

I began attending Prime for a weekly Pilates class as a complete beginner about 18 months ago. I thoroughly enjoy the classes and really feel the benefit of them. I have also attended Lisa for physiotherapy for a couple of musculoskeletal issues and have appreciated her expert and friendly treatment. Now that I have taken out membership I enjoy attending more classes and have been working on improving my strength in Carol’s gym based classes - so important in retirement! Prime is such a fantastic resource for us to have in our wee village -definitely worthy of five stars.

Reasonably new to Prime, but really enjoying the classes (attending 4 per week) - it’s the first exercise classes I have taken where I feel I can fit in! Lots of age range and abilities - everyone is catered for and looked after to ensure form is correct and exercises are within your capabilities. Carole is superb (not only in classes but also on the nutrition front too) - would 100% recommend.

I've been going to Prime Physio for physiotherapy and classes for a few months and have nothing but praise. Everyone working here is very helpful and kind, classes are varied and have lovely atmosphere, and Lisa has been really amazing in aiding my recovery after a lower back injury. The website is also easy to use in order to book a class or an appointment which is a plus.

Took my 12 year old daughter to Prime Sports after she had hurt her back on our trampoline. Lisa has a fantastic way with clients and put my daughter at ease whilst working on her and delivering a spot on diagnosis and treatment plan. She was so good that I made an appointment for myself to address some hypermobility issues. First class, would definitely recommend.

Over the years I have used a large number of physios over Edinburgh and Lisa is far and away the best. She does not just try and get you to the next appointment, she gives exercises to really improve your issue from one week to the next. Highly recommended and will definitely return when the next bit of me starts to fail!

Wendy helped me recover from breathlessness after covid. She quickly identified the breathing pattern issues and helped put in a phased plan. After 3 weeks I went from struggling to look after myself to attempting short walks outside. Would thoroughly recommend.

I’ve been attending the Strength / Cardio sessions with Carole for about 9 months. Carole is an awesome trainer who takes the time to get to know each person and their abilities. Her workouts are very much tailored to the person.
Carole’s classes have helped me a lot with technique and generally toning up ahead of my wedding!
I’d recommend these classes for anyone who’s keen to exercise in a collaborative and friendly environment.
