Lesley has been an amazing support for my dad after having a stroke. She has supported and encouraged him to improve, and has challenged him in his recovery. Her professional approach and knowledge are complimented by her caring nature. My dad loves his sessions and really looks forward to them each week. I would highly recommend Back to Basics Physio. After hurting my back recently, I got an appointment with Lesley very quickly. Being able to book evening appointments and be seen at home was very convenient for me. I had not had acupuncture before and found it helped me so much. The acupuncture together with exercises has helped me tremendously. An assessment of my working from home set up was an added bonus. Lesley offers an excellent and friendly service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

I engaged Lesley to help with post operation recovery after my 87 year old mother (who is resident in a Care Home) fell and broke her hip. In short, she is excellent. From first contact, she was responsive, helpful and supportive. My mum also has vascular dementia but Lesley has such a warm relaxed style that she quickly got her on side and had her back up on her feet and doing her exercises in no time! She also offered great advice regarding stand aids, wheelchairs etc. and in addition she briefed the senior care home staff after each session so that they had confidence in what they could do with mum, in terms of mobility and exercise, over the next week. In summary, if you are considering a physio then I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Lesley - she is excellent.

Having had pins and needles in my back for quite some time I was really delighted to find this site through the Nextdoor app. Lesley was brilliant from the very beginning, she took time to understand the issue with my back before deciding on where to begin with treatment. Having now had a few treatments I can see a huge improvement in the movement in my back and will be continuing with the exercises given to me. My wife now is also being treated with some success. We both highly recommend.

Cannot recommend Back to Basics Physio enough. Lesley has helped me with a couple of injuries from shoulder/neck pain to tendonitis in my forearm. I would highly recommend back to basics.In january this year my elderly 85 year old dad took a massive stroke and was told he would be unable to walk again, once out of hospital he had a few visits from a physiotherapist and was told they couldn't help him any further with his rehabilitation.My dad being so determined I had to seek help. Through someone I know I got Lesleys details and she agreed to come out and assess my dad. Lesley has been working with my dad for the last few months once a week and has been nothing but amazing. My dad is now walking with a zimmer supervised and is going from strength to strength every week. We cannot thank Lesley enough she is not only a fantastic physiotherapist but truly a wonderful person too who has not only helped us with dads mobility but so many other things too.
