I have been attending the Glasgow Physio Centre for nearly a whole year now. My lovely Physio Mariam has been a godsend to me with my various injuries. Always patient and always knows how to encourage me to get back into my training without injuring myself further.
Mariam is awesome at Pilates also. I highly recommend her class. She works you hard to get the best possible results. No slacking in Mariam's class :-)

I have been attending Clinical Pilates under Mariam Viray's instruction for the past 14 weeks and have experienced first class professional care for my chronic lumbar pain. In just six weeks of weekly sessions, the pain had reduced significantly and by 12 weeks I had my first pain free week in 12 years! Mariam's sound knowledge and understanding of the body and how we should move is really impressive. This and her uncanny knack of spotting the slightest deviation is why I feel so much better. I have decided to continue with these sessions as my posture, movement and strength continues to improve.

I have been going here for a knee injury. The whole team were always lovely and helpful when coming into appointments or calling to book/ change dates. Matthew has been helping me with the physio and has really helped me come a long way! He was always been positive and taken care to show me how to undertake the exercises at home. I have not felt as though my appointments have been rushed through and i have always been able to get time slots that best suited me. I would recommend going here for physio.

I have been going to see Mariam for a few months now for some general maintenance. I am a member of a CrossFit gym and am often putting my body under a lot of stress and strain. Mariam has a great understanding of my training and how it affects my muscles so she always knows just how to fix them. She uses a wide variety of treatment types, which I love - There is never a dull session. I would highly recommend Mariam to anyone who was looking for treatment, even if it is just for maintenance purposes. Thanks Mariam! :)

This is definitely one of the best places to get treatment for any pains or injuries. I have been attending Mariam’s clinical pilates classes for 18 months and they are superb. Because the classes are small (max 4 people) Mariam is able to ensure everyone does exercises which are relevant to their individual problems/injuries. I have also been getting regular physio to deal with chronic pain following surgery and a persistent running injury. The treatment is brilliant, and you leave feeling that the goal is not only to heal the injury/pain, but to strengthen the body so it doesn't return. I have had treatment from Mariam, Sarah and Catriona and they are all superb at what they do. The clinic is in a really convenient location and because they offer early morning appointments, it’s easy to fit treatment around other commitments. In addition there is a real sense of community in the practice which makes it a great place to visit.

I've had a great experience with Core Physio who were able to offer me an online appointment so I didn't have to wait for clinics to reopen after COVID-19. Shane provided a friendly and efficient service and was able to identify the problem I was having and provide exercises to help strengthen a running injury I've picked up. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

I've been seeing Mariam at the Glasgow Physio Centre for the past few years. She has been very influential in helping me recover from my long term neck injury. Along with recommending changes to my daily lifestyle (posture, exercises, desk/chair at work etc), visits to see Mariam for massages has made me feel much better and has allowed me to have better body movement than before.
I would strongly recommend making an appointment to see Mariam at The Glasgow Physio Centre if you have any outstanding injuries as it has worked very well for me.

Have been attending Pilates with Marian for almost two years. She treated me for a back injury after a fall and recommended I try Pilates to build up the injured muscles, align my body, build up core strength and glutes and hamstrings. I missed a year road and off road racing due to the injury but now I am as strong as ever and have ran some best times in last 15 years. Although I can do these exercises myself I can rely on Mariam to give me a good work out at least monthly to keep me in check. Excellent physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor.

I've been going to Mariam Viray's Clinical Pilates class for 18 months as I have had lower back and joint pain due to Joint Hypermobility Syndrome and sciatica.
Mariam has been really patient and we've managed to slowly build me up again after the inevitable deconditioning that comes with joint pain. The classes have a maximum of 4 people and each person is set exercises which fit their abilities and problems. This is a really useful class for someone with a chronic condition.
The lower back and pelvic pain has greatly reduced and I have tummy muscles for the first time in my life!

I have been a frequent visitor to the Glasgow Physio centre & have been for a few years. I struggled with deteriorating mobility & acute back pain from years, largely due to poor posture coupled with historic motorbike accident & ancient sports injuries I now regularly receive a range of treatments, including physio, dry needles, massage & also attend the clinical pilates sessions.
I would most certainly recommend Mariam, Sarah, Catriona, Lynne & Pavol etc. There are numerous reasons. Top level of expertise, enthusiasm to discuss & find causes of pain, individual plans to treat &/or exercise & all done with a very positive "can-do" attitude.
Like others, I have made strong progress with significant improvement in mobility. Moreover, many of the Physio Centre "team" & pilates class members have become good friends.

I attended the Glasgow Physic Centre for over 1 year following an accident and was very impressed with the overall professionalism shown by all staff. In particular I am extremely thankful for Mariam's input, without which I am sure my recovery would have been much slower. I have recommended the Centre to friends who still attend regularly.

I have been attending Mariam's lunchtime blitz pilates classes for nearly two years. She's a brilliant instructor who pays attention to each person's particular needs and makes sure everyone is pushing themselves. I would recommend the class to anyone.

Lynne at The Glasgow Physio Centre is well worth seeing for deep tissue massage. She does wonders for my back but is also extremely lovely to deal with too. Overall the service offered is great value for money!

I've utilised the physio and clincial pilates provided by Maryam over a number of years. It has immensely improved my quality of life, and I cannot recommend highly the quality of service she has provided. The Centre is located in a convenient location, and is bright, spacious and well equipped inside. I'd certainly recommend that someone looking to address their physiotheraphy or associated needs, consider The Glasgow Physio Centre.

Originally hobbled into the GPC with a bad back folllowing a cycling injury. Sarah saw me for the physio consultation and then I joined Mariam's Pilates class - and that was over a year ago. It was pretty challenging at first but I have to say that as someone who isn't keen on gyms or organised exercise this has been a life changer. I'm still going not because of any acute need but to keep up the techniques learned and to fend off old age. I haven't had a bad back since and can tackle any hint of a twinge before it gets to be a problem.
And the other thing to say is that it is never boring. Very impressed with how Mariam manages to vary the programme week after week.

I've been seeing Sarah for physio for a few years now, and she is definitely the best physio I've had (and I've seen quite a few!). I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome - Hypermobility Type, which means my connective tissue is weaker/stretchier than it should be, causing hypermobility, chronic joint and muscle pain and frequent injuries/sprains etc. To manage my condition I need frequent physio sessions which just isn't available on the NHS. Although physio can often be a tad torturous I still look forward to seeing Sarah because she usually manages to significantly reduce my pain, works on any specific areas I'm having difficulty with, teaches me helpful things like exercises/stretches and how to tape my joints - and at the same time she chats, tells me funny stories and just generally makes me laugh!
Since I'm a pretty frequent visitor to the physio centre I have met most of the other physios/staff - they are all lovely and really friendly.
The location of the centre is also great - right opposite Queen Street Station, and next to lots of bus stops which makes getting there easy and straight forward.

The team will very quickly triage your problem and direct you to which of the other professionals is best able to help you with treatment. Therapy is thorough, it can hurt, but it stops you hurting more in the long term. I had a few issues that needed fixed and for longer term they offer great pilates classes too!

I had back pain and a sciatica that was making it painful walk, drive or even to sit still. After my very first session I felt much much better and after just 4 sessions in total I am back to normal and completely pain free. Couldn't be more happy with the service, the location, or the price.

Great support. Provided great analysis, knowledge, instruction.. and most importantly fixed my injured back! Also dispatched of me as soon as they could (to prevent me paying for additional appointments I didn't really need :)). Couldn't have asked for better service. Physio was Scott Anderson.

Been going to see Lynne and Sarah for about 2 years now after an accident on the push bike as well as historical issues with tight hamstrings and a tight lower back.
Worked wonders for my legs and my back and allows me to continue with my day to day life as well as allowing me to carry on with my gym work.

I was treated by Sarah, and she managed to fix a persistant and annoying knee pain due to excessive running. It was not just effective, but also the right mixture of professionalism and friendliness. I highly recommend it
