I have seen Alan for a few months now and he is a very calm, attentive, amiable person. I had seen a physio elsewhere who thought I was suffering from Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. Alan told me I did not have this condition but had something else and thankfully not in a bad state. I also had problems with many muscle groups and he and his student performed massage on many areas using a Theragun. It turns out that I had many trigger points in these muscle groups and he performs dry needling therapy extremely well. Over the course of many treatments, I am getting close to the person I used to be and he has told me the different types of stretches I need to perform to keep on top of the trigger points. Alan has reassured me on many an occasion about concerns I have had with my health and placed me on the right path. He has his patient’s health at heart as though it was himself and I cannot recommend him highly enough. The clinic is located in the country and very accessible on the outskirts of Balfron having lovely attractive views to the west and north and it is a great place to be. Steve

I came to the Buckingham clinic on a recommendation as I was suffering from acute neck and left side nerve pain. I had received osteopathic therapy from a number of practitioners over the last 25 years plus and I know that the standard can vary, to say the least. Mr Alan Rastelli who operates the Buckingham clinic is one of the most professional therapists I have ever met. After his initial assessment of my problem, he set me on a course of IDD combined with other therapy. From the first session of IDD, the nerve pain I had been suffering from for months was relieved, it was nothing short of miraculous. To be free from the constant pain I had been suffering was amazing. I have been impressed by the professionalism of Alan and the very high standards of the Buckingham clinic as well as grateful for the pain relief. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Buckingham Clinic and Mr Alan Restelli to anyone suffering from back or neck pain. From my own experience you will not regret it.

I couldn’t recommend Alan at the Buckingham clinic enough. When I first attended I was doubled over with back pain, couldn’t even stand straight. 6 weeks later I’ve genuinely never felt so good and I don’t even take so much as a paracetamol. Alan is extremely professional and explains everything simply so you have a full understanding of the work he is doing and how it will benefit you. Alan’s passion for helping you get better really comes across and it really helped me focus when I was doing the exercise that he recommended. I had a rotator cuff injury for nearly a year where I could hardly lift it or sleep with the pain. Attended other practitioners for physio, osteopathy and some acupuncture with some degree of improvement but still leaving me with little hope of regaining a full recovery. After a recommendation from my brother who had similar injuries but had great progress I attended Alan’s clinic for acupuncture and manipulation of the affected shoulder. Within maybe 6 sessions I have full mobility of my shoulder and it is now pain free. I have been given a toolkit of exercises and advice to build up strength and avoid future injury. Phew! I did not expect to get back to having my “normal” shoulder back, as the rotator cuff is such a complex joint. After 2 years of suffering from back pain and several sessions with different osteopaths/physiotherapists who treated the symptoms rather than the problems, I followed a friend’s recommendation and went to the Buckingham clinic. Alan was able to identify the problem during the first session. I had manual therapy, IDD sessions as well as rehab exercises. I have attended for many years. I've had a range of treatments to deal with a variety of issues (massage, manipulation, phyback, acupuncture, shockwave, physiotherapy, functional movement to name but a few). I have always found the staff to be extremely helpful and the treatments efficacious. I regard my monthly spinal check as a vital part of my regular health routine in the way I get regular dental check ups and eye tests. I have been attending the Buckingham Clinic for a period of time receiving treatment for a recurring back problem and also attending for regular preventive treatment (prevention is better than cure !). I have always found Mr Sneddon and all the staff - from the receptionists to the Physiotherapists - to be very friendly, helpful and highly professional. The Buckingham is a large Clinic covering a range of treatments including Osteopathy and Physiotherapy. It is very well equipped with a range of modern equipment that you don’t find in many other places. I have found the treatments to be highly effective and the staff have been instrumental in keeping my back issues under control. I would recommend the Clinic to anyone who is looking for a friendly, professional service in the very heart of the West End.

I first went to The a Buckingham clinic after falling in a shower and damaging a disc in my back. Before this I’d tried a number of different chiropractors and Osteopaths with varying results- but I find the Buckingham Clinic to be in a different league. The resident Osteopath, James Sneddon is superb, the clinic also has a range of other treatments that you’re unlikely to find elsewhere. For my own back condition I found that their IDD treatment not only relieved the immediate pain but has resolved mild discomfort I’d suffered for an number of years. James and his team at the Buckingham Clinic since 2010. The first major time in 2011, after my wife found me unconscious on the bathroom floor! (Prolapsed disc protruding into my sciatic nerve) NHS were wonderful but preferred not to operate. The second time a few weeks ago when I realised I was suffering from sciatica and required the use of crutches to be able to walk. After 3 sleepless nights, alleviated by tramadol & amitryptilane (not recommended!) once again I sought the services of the Buckingham Clinic and their wonderful IDD technology. Walking and driving in 10 days. And 99% pain free and off the meds after 3 weeks. I cannot praise Mr James Sneddon and the wonderful Buckingham Clinic enough.

I have had many troubles with my back and in particular Sciatica. I was advised by Mr Sneddon that the IDD programme was particularly good at combating Sciatica. After 2 weeks programme I felt so much more flexible, a lot less pain which meant a lot more sleep and I could get back to hobbies such as Golf and gardening again. Initially visited Buckingham Clinic with some serious back and hip pain. Excellent knowledgeable and friendly staff sorted me out and now I visit for a monthly spinal checkup. I can't recommend them enough.

I've had a pleasant experience, I couldn't get rid of my headaches and neck stiffness, but I had almost my full range of motion back after the first treatment and was pain free after just 3 physiotherapy consults. Keep it up guys!
