I have arthritis in my hip and nothing or no-one was helping me with the pain. Physiotherapists only making it worse - until I was recommended to see Chris. His knowledge is astounding. He created a programme for me which started off gently and gradually increased the strength in my supporting muscles. I am now virtually pain free thanks to him. Can't recommend highly enough.

I've trained with Chris for a couple of years as part of his Small Group Personal Training sessions. He took time to understand my goals, mainly at that time to run my first marathon, and explained how strength training could help keep me injury free. When lockdown put paid to face to face training virtual sessions kept me motivated. Unfortunately I've been diagnosed with a health condition but Chris has taken time to research this and understand how we can adapt my training. I've been working with Chris online for the past few months after picking up various injuries in preparation for a long distance running event and I feel very grateful to have done so, he's fantastic! I was initially a bit sceptical about virtual sessions, but have been really pleased with how well he is able to assess things and give me the help I need without actually seeing me in 'real life'. I really feel like he listens to my concerns, makes me feel valid with them and comfortable to air them, and I always come away from our sessions feeling much more positive and confident! The exercises he gives me to work on are always spot on too.
I made it round the 48km trails run in one piece and safe to say Chris had a big part to play in me being able to confidently do so. I can't recommend Chris enough, I'm just gutted I'm too far away to work with him in person. Thank you for all your help so far!

I’ve been training with Chris for several years now and his knowledge, enthusiasm and encouragement are first class. Initially I contacted Chris following a running injury and I couldn’t seem to get back to pain free running. With targeted strength training with Chris twice a week, I’ve completed 10k races, half marathons, 24/48 hr endurance events, triathlons, and cycling Majorca 312. Zoom sessions throughout lockdown kept me focused and looking forward to my 1st marathon later in the year. Can’t recommend highly enough 👍

I've known Chris Kitson a few years as a therapist for various running niggles and also attending his Robust Runners class. I signed up for PT/coaching in January this year and couldn't be more pleased with the results. I've lost 18lbs in weight, and 14 inches, learnt how to tackle and manage injury/niggles and started to improve my running, strength and confidence. Chris has coached and counselled me through all this, helping break negative eating and exercise cycles. It's even been fun (for me)! Highly recommended.

Chris is very friendly and welcoming. I am very impressed with his breadth of expert knowledge. He is able to accurately assess your problem, tailor a solution that is suited to your capabilities, lead you through it and follow it up with detailed diagrams and videos to ensure that you are correctly performing the exercises. and then tweak the routine as you make progress. I will certainly visit again if I suffer further problems.

Saw Chris online with an on going back problem. He assessed the problem very quickly and put an excellent exercise plan in place which has really helped. Would thoroughly recommend, Chris is very knowledgeable, providing an excellent service at a good price.
