Reviews of The Wharfedale Clinic

Martyn Speight is fantastic. He is so knowledgable and competent. I first saw Martyn with discogenic back pain that I had suffered for 3 months. Within 2 appointments my symptoms had resolved 100 percent. Had he only achieved this with me On that 1 occasion I may have been skeptical but I have seen him with other unrelated issues and also recommended him to numerous people with different musculoskeletal problems who have all achieved the same results. He believes in getting straight to the heart of the issue and resolving it for you quickly. He won't have you traipsing back week after week with no progress. Lisa who runs the practice and Sally who is on reception are really helpful and welcoming and it is a very professional and caring environment.

I visited this clinic from Newcastle a few times last year to see Martyn for treatments, the various issues I had ranged from shoulder, IT band and also insertional achilles/plantar fasciitis.
The staff here are all lovely and offered tea/coffee and were very friendly and talkative which is nice. Martyn is absolutely fantastic, I had read of treatments such as prolotherapy online which is how I sourced Martyn with it being a difficult treatment to find, my foot as an example had been giving me issues for around 14 months since the army, I had tried various physio therapies, rolling techniques etc before hearing of prolotherapy, to cut it short the treatment was a godsend, once the initial Inflammation had gone down post treatments the pain simply went away and never returned, I'm now able to run consistently and have confidence in my foot again.
I haven't been back in over a year but would definitely return if I ever needed treatment.
Hope you all have a nice Christmas. Peter

Fantastic people from the reception to the doctor mr Martin Speight who treated myself for lower back pain with prolotherapy injections which he has a lot off believe in from a my personal opinion I would not recommend this as I had this treatment of 6 injections in your lower spine and the pain is excruciating for 7 to 10 day's after I went through this treatment, for 4 months to come out exactly as I arrived at the clinic is so disheartening

after years of suffering pain and seeing every specialist in Leeds doctor Martin Speight diagnosed the problem as trigger points and after two treatments all the pain has gone

Martin is without a doubt a great physician with the rare combination of great knowledge, care and manual dexterity.
