My 90 year old mother suddenly found herself unable to walk. I contacted Patrick and explained the problem and he was happy to come to the nursing home, where my mother had had to move to, to assess her. Having looked at and assessed her legs he immediately started working on getting her to walk. By the next day she was walking everywhere again, with the help of a frame. Patrick continued to work with her and built her strength and confidence up sufficiently so she was able to return home. He continues to work with her to further her progress and she is now able to enjoy independent living again. I would highly recommend Patrick and can not thank him enough for the effort, patience and progress he has made and will continue to make with my mother.

My back had gone, I looked on Google and found therapy room 1, called up and spoke to Patrick, he see me the same day (I couldn't walk properly) I went in to my appointment walking very slow and not straight, within 1 hour with Patrick I walked out normal along with receiving loads of info about what was wrong and what I can do to prevent in future. My honest opinion is if Patrick cannot fix you no one can, what harm will it do to get him a try and make your own mind up. Top service, Patrick thank you so much! Ricky.

After seeing Patrick for my shoulders and neck I mentioned a lump on my foot. He told me it was a ganglion. It has been painful in the past and the doctors have always brushed it off and not helped. Patrick offered to treat it. One session later that took no longer than 5mins and strapped for a few days we can both see a huge difference and it has basically disappeared! After only 5 days of being strapped up its almost gone. I am over the moon with the results and the best part is it didn't really hurt! For anyone sat on the fence of whether to give this a go. Please do!!! I have stumbled across an absolute gem here! He knows his stuff and works well to actually help you not mask any problems! I can't begin to thank him enough for his help

Absolutely amazing. Been suffering on and off with my back for about ten years, called in to see if Patrick could fit me in and he took me in there and then. Really easy guy to get on with and he certainly knows his stuff. After my first session, which he didn't hold back on and explained an awful lot to me, I can actually walk instead of hobble and I actually coughed without wanting to collapse on the floor in pain. Patrick was recommended to me by a gym trainer. I in turn can't recommend him highly enough! Over the past couple of months he's helped me to rehabilitate from a shoulder that was so out of whack that I'd have had to go under the knife. Thankfully, through Patrick's rehab, I managed to avoid the need of surgery, and have recovered quicker than I thought possible. He's my first and last recommendation for physio rehab in Lincoln.

I'm a service veteran (army) of 26 years, now 49 years young! Due to several injuries I received on active duty, I was left with repeated periods of severe lower back pain and sciatica. Over the years I have been treated by so many practitioners I've lost count from physios, Osteopaths and Chiropractitioners. I went to Patrick for a sports massage due to a stiff back from heavy garden work. After noting down details of my previous injuries Patrick correctly diagnosed my issues and gave me a treatment plan. I can honestly say, I have never met anyone who has the knowledge and most importantly, can apply it to patients more than Patrick. His methods are unique and extremely effective. I was back training after 8 sessions with him and haven't suffered with back pain or sciatica since my last session over a year ago. You have to be prepared to work hard and suffer some pain (I'm old school army PTI, so used to it) and do some homework between sessions, but believe me it's worth it and you will be telling everyone you know how brilliant Patrick is when you are fixed. The few negative comments I have read on here are certainly either fake to try and do Patrick's business harm, especially the lengthy one moaning about everything including of all things a bottle of tomato ketchup or by individuals who are not willing to listen and put some hard work into the therapy to get them cured. On a final note, Patrick is also the type of person I used to want in my team on operational duty. He is approachable, friendly, selfless, professional and will always do his utmost to achieve a result.

I called Therapy Room 1 on a Saturday morning because I was stuck on the floor due to debilitating lower back, hip and leg pain which had developed and worsened over 3 weeks. It was the early weeks of the COVID lockdown but Patrick was still happy to see me the day I called. I have had several sessions now during the lockdown and am now able to get back to work (welder/fabricator). Every visit, I have washed my hands when arriving and have been given a face mask and gloves to wear for the duration. Extremely grateful for your service during this virus!

Saw Patrick today on short notice. He cut into his own lunch break so that I could see him on mine and I really can't recommend him enough. He really works hard to find the cause of pain. I get referred pain in my lower back and he was able to spot that in this instance, the pain was caused my tight hips, he helped me loosen it up then suggested a variety of physio I could do at home. Currently on Groupon so go now!

First couple of visits to TR1 for long-term back problems and I’m already seeing a marked reduction in the number of pain killers I’m using and improvements in posture and mobility. Patrick seems to know what he’s doing, has a wicked sense of humour and a great motivational style. I can’t recommend him enough.

This guy is amazing. I suffered with a lower back issue for 2.5 years in 33 years old. I refused to see anyone about it. My wife bought me a therapy session from Groupon for £16 so I went to see Patrick for him to work me and diagnose my problem "boy o boy did I hurt the following day". I went back a week later for another session (gluten for punishment). Its been 3 weeks since I last went and I have NO back problems what so ever..... I'm slightly concerned for his business purely because if he fixes people in 2 sessions he ain't going to get much repeat custom. However.... I have booked for next week to go back to him to make sure that I'm fully cured. Honestly and truthfully he is superb. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Short Wait in the room on arrival whilst he finished with previous clients. he made up the whole time and more. It went beyond great service from Patrick to the whole of the staff. The best diagnosis of my problems out of the several places i have recently had treatments. I felt considerable better after only the first session. it was very helpful and would heavily recommend treatment if you have any on going issues.

Patrick is just amazing person , I had issue with back for about year, I had my mri done done but nothing was working for me , finally met him and he sort out my issue up to 90% in two weeks , what I notice he doesn’t go after your money , he want to make u feel better !! 1000% recommendations

Amazing service. I damaged the Base of my spine two weeks ago and after being misdiagnosed twice by medics who said I had Sciatica and then later by my doctor who said I had "pulled a muscle" I was given painkillers to mask the problem rather than to find the cause. I was recommended to visit Patrick at Therapyroom1 for a back and spinal injury diagnosis. Patrick diagnosed the problems with my spine in the first 5 minutes and I have since had intensive rehabilitation therapy daily. I can now walk/sit and stand without being in acute pain and without assistance. I have had Chronic back and joint pain for years which my doctor has never taken seriously or investigated, now with the help of Patrick and his diagnosis, I should get the follow up tests and MRI I have desperately needed for years. If anyone has any kind of chronic or acute pain I would strongly recommend Therapyroom1.

My husband has been in lots of pain with his back and Patrick always sorted him out. My hubby says Patrick is magic and i should see him as i have back problems for few years too. But i was too scared and avoid it, till the point i realised its too painful and i am really struggling and i am in too much pain, that i need some help. So my hubby booked me in to see MAGIC PATRICK. I was so scared, nervous, but with no reason. In first 10 minutes he straight away told what is my problem and was positive that all is possible to fix. First treatment was uncomfortable but i think it is normal! Second treatment was much better, he manage to relax me, which is usually difficult with me. He really helps relax with chat as well which is brilliant. After the second treatment i had better night sleep which was amazing, as i wasnt able to sleep for long time. So magic things are happening. I definatelly recommend Patrick he is doing magic things! 😊

Visited for a sports massage but after explaining my issue (a runner with shin issues) Patrick quickly and quite simply found the problem. He then spent an hour and a half with me doing exercises to help the problem, finishing with a shin and foot massage. Would highly recommend Patrick!!

I have never encountered such pain and disability in my life. After two months of enduring this condition I was told about therapy room 1 and Patrick who was said to be a magician. I had nowhere else to go and I am so pleased I didn't because that was the first day towards my recovery. Patrick Ricketts treated me completely as an individual acting on my reactions to treatment adapting where necessary and proving through the results that he knows the human body inside and out, there seems to be nothing this man doesn't know. I have Parkinsons amongst other conditions so I resigned myself to walking with crutches for the foreseeable future. 6 weeks later after pain, tears and laughter I stand straight and walk freely. I work at Therapy Room 1 and we have never had anyone with the name Tom Shanks come into the clinic! At Therapy Room 1 patients are treated professionally. There is a quiet, comfortable waiting room for clients to sit in while waiting for the therapist to call them through. On a personal note I have also been treated here (before working for the company) and was treated professionally and courteously and left in a much fitter state than I arrived! I always recommend Therapy Room 1 to friends and have always received great feedback when they have visited.
