I would highly recommend Martin who has helped me so much to deal with the long term consequences of failed operations. His calm, reassuring, supportive approach makes any session a positive experience. I always come out feeling physically improved and happier. I have seen various physios, chiropractors and osteopaths in the past and this is quite different. In addition to the PRI therapy, Martin has a range of skills and techniques for a more holistic approach. Martin has also empowered me with exercises to do at home which has a positive effect physically and psychologically.

To describe Martin as a physio doesn't really do him justice - it's a bit like comparing a GP to a neurosurgeon. Before I went to Martin, I'd been tackling three years of chronic pain. Almost constantly, I was experiencing either knee, back or hip pain (and sometimes all at once!) I've been to countless physios, osteopaths, chiropractors, and none of them could agree on an explanation for my joint problems. I've tried weight training, pilates, orthotics, 'just resting', all to no avail. I was about ready to give up when I came across Martin's Clinic. It has changed my life. Finally, someone could tell me why my body felt so broken - and could give me techniques to fix it that actually WORK. The methods that Martin uses honestly blow my mind. A lot of my pain comes from extreme flexibility, and I've always been able to put my palms flat on the floor. After one hour with Martin, I was only just touching it with my fingers! I cannot stress enough how much he has helped me: in a few months, my hip pain has disappeared, my back is back to normal, and I'm finally getting on top of my knee problems. Martin has changed my perspective on everything I've been taught about posture, and how we are meant to move. Not to mention, he's a lovely guy and I always feel like we have a bit of a laugh during my appointments! If you are in pain, go and see Martin. I'm pretty sure he has the answers you've been searching for!

I went to see Martin on recommendation following a badly herniated disc in my lower back due to what was probably over-training and bad posture. After spending months visiting my GP, various physios and even healthcare back specialists I was getting nowhere. As someone who enjoyed exercising everyday and has a love for running this was unbelievablely frustrating. Within a single session Martin was able to understand my issue and give me a plan to recovery. After only a few sessions over the course of a month or two I was well on the road to recovery, and now a few months on I have gone from a serious back injury (and being on crutches) to being able to excercise again everyday. Finding Martin was one of the best things to happen in my life! I had extremely bad costochondritis for about 6 months. I was in constant pain everyday of my life, which limited what i could do (Being sporty and very active this was extremely hard for me mentally and physically). My son, my husband and myself were all treated by Martin in the same afternoon! As a consultant surgeon I am rather cynical, but I know Martin's approach works. Several of my friends have seen Martin and had persistent problems completely and quickly resolved, and several more friends will be seeing him soon. My son (14) had several symptoms and quirky features which have been getting worse. His muscles ache from head to toe every morning, he has a visual disturbance, difficulty breathing deeply, is very fidgety and prone to anxiety. He was referred to Martin by his optician. Martin very quickly put my son at his ease, and equally quickly understood the whole picture, and set about a strategy to improve things. Some of the exploratory questions and tests seemed a bit strange, and I asked a lot of questions, but when Martin explained the neurology and physiology, it all made perfect sense. I sustained stress fractures to my tibia and fibula while running a couple of years ago. The (conventional) physio had suggested a training programme which caused agonising plantar fasciitis, which (conventional) treatment wasn't helping, and I was close to needing surgery. So naturally I made an appointment with Martin. I also had lower back, shoulder, neck and elbow pain, which I was just ignoring! Martin quickly established the root cause of all the pains, and even the stress fractures! It has taken a while and lots of quite technically precise exercises, but I am now completely pain free. The plantar fasciitis has gone and so have all the other pains! My awareness of Martin's amazing results meant that when my husband sustained (yet another) sport related injury, there was only one place for him to go. He is just starting on his exercises but we are confident he will become a better and faster runner. I would have no hesitation in recommending Martin.

Before seeing Martin I had dealt with back and postural problems for several years which left me unable to train or exercise properly. I had seen multiple physiotherapists who were unable to help. Martin was able to identify the cause of my issues almost immediately and, more importantly, was able to offer a solution. He uses a very different approach to any other physiotherapists/trainers I have met (based partly on craniofacial posture) which seems to be much more effective than traditional techniques. I cannot recommend him strongly enough.

Martin has different approach from traditional physiotherapy. He is a genius. Before seeing him I had chronic recurring pain and aches in the neck, imbalances in the hips, breathing dysfunction, feeling twisted during gait. His PRI-based approach and assessing my visual system was able to identify the cause of my issues and help me to restore my posture. Martin also provided me optometric rehab using a sensory device to improve sensory and motor processing. As soon as start using these glasses I felt I was able to walk better, breath better, reduced tension in my hips and felt reset to my entire posture. His wider understanding of the human body mean that he spots patterns and causes and is able to restore posture and take away pain VERY quickly unlike traditional physios.
