Reviews of Oxford Circus Physiotherapy
D. M.
I found them by accident through a recommendation from another physio (I think) that coincided with who I could get through my health insurance provider. They have been so consistently brilliant in the handful of times I've used them that I recommend them to anyone and have gone to them even when my insurance isn't footing the bill.
I've only been for various leg/ankle running issues but the standard of assessment and planning/treatment from whoever I see (I've seen and recommend David Harris or Zoe Jessop) has been superb. They've corrected misdiagnoses from my insurer's default physio, they've perfectly assessed little niggles I had and they've helped me with referrals to specialists and scans that have also really helped.
They'll engage with questions and curiosities and happily discuss little extra bits they notice (e.g. benefits/dangers of barefoot shoes). I have never felt anything other than fully confident in the knowledge and treatment I've received when I leave. Trying to balance this review out with something negative but genuinely can't think of anything. I hope I won't have to see them again for a while but if I need a physio, this is where I'll go.
N. P.
I have been using the physio and conditioning services at OCP for 8 years. I was referred to David (and his amazing team) by a consultant surgeon who wanted me in the best condition I could be in before my op.
David Harris, along with the physiotherapists, sports massage therapists and admin team, cared for me throughout the pre and post op rehabilitation and I am back running and cycling on a daily basis.
I am a regular client now and every time I attend, I am treated with the same care and professionalism.
I genuinely think that Oxford Circus Physio is the best physio in London. The surroundings are great and the equipment and diagnostic tools are second to none.
I have recommended my family and friends to David and they are also, all, extremely happy with the service they have received.

I just want to take time to write this review as my deepest gratitude to Jocelyn for giving me excellent physio treatments over the past 15 years. From the first session at a Roodlane treatment room, I became her royal and one of the most sticky patients, following her from Roodlane, to her Portland clinic and to Oxford Circus Physio. Her no nonsense approach, together with excellent knowledge and skills, have helped my recoveries from various conditions over the long span of 15 years: low back pain, numerous low calf injuries from running, plantar fasciitis, shoulder pain, etc. Recently, she treated my troublesome heal spur successfully with shock wave. The treatments she has given me has enabled me to keep running without the fear of breakdown as I know I can rely on her. I will always go back to her for physio treatment and I strongly recommend her service and Oxford Circus Physio.

Over the past 30 years and I have seen more physios than most people - across two continents! With chronic lower back problems plus various other sports injuries to ankles, knees and wrists I guess I must be an ideal patient! David is hands down the best physio I have seen in the UK or Australia. Uniquely (for any physio I have been to) he has the ability to carry out ultrasound scans before/during treatment to assess what is actually going on beneath the surface. Getting the root cause faster while at the same time happy to refer on to others when more invasive treatment is required. Unlike with other "professionals" in his field I have never got the impression that unnecessary appointments/follow ups are being booked. You seriously won't find anyone better in London. 5 STARS PLUS from me!
M. S.
Walked in with severe pain and Left pain free, with an answer and a treatment guide to of exercises to help. Lisa is incredible, highly knowledgeable and very professional. I will continue to recommend.

I have had physiotherapy treatments with David Harris for a few different sporting injuries in the last three years and he has always provided me with an honest, professional, helpful and friendly service. His assessments have been thorough, and his treatments, as well as follow up advice and support fantastic.
I followed David from the previous physiotherapy practice he worked in to Oxford Circus Physiotherapy and can highly recommend the services, facilities and staff.
R. Q.
David and his team at Oxford Circus Physio are by far the best rehabilitation team I have worked with. This is both in the way they approach the treatment and the results seen. Time is taken to clearly explain the issue and rehabilitation plan meaning you feel engaged and involved in the treatment. They are realistic about fitting the rehabilitation around your life (I swim and wasn't prepared to stop). Being able to access your treatment plan electronically from home/gym motivates you to do the exercises given and ensures you are doing them properly. Personally, I have seen great results and highly recommend. The added bonus is everyone I've met here has been lovely!

I've been seeing David Harris for physiotherapy on my knee after a serious sports injury. After six sessions, I can undoubtedly say that he is one of the best physical therapists that I've seen. I feel like I've made fantastic progress and am beginning to feel the incredible difference that professional routine can have on recovery. The facilities are great and really convenient location. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend Oxford Circus Physiotherapy. They are always friendly and efficient – even when accommodating my short notice appointment requests! I’ve been seeing Iwona for regular sports remedial massages for two years now. She is brilliant! Very thorough and also informative – she really knows her stuff. I’ve recommended her to several of my colleagues who also rate her very highly. I also saw Zoe for a one off Physiotherapist assessment who was also excellent. I would definitely trust Oxford Circus Physiotherapy for any additional treatment that I might need in the future.

All the staff at Oxford Circus Physiotherapy are really friendly and helpful. There is also a really good gym next to private practice rooms with lots of state of the art equipment. I am recovering from an ACL reconstruction and am really happy with the treatment I'm receiving from physio David. You can email or call the physiotherapists any time, they are very easy to contact and happy to deal with any worries you might have.
I am making a fast recovery due to the top treatment here and would recommend Oxford Circus Physiotherapy wholeheartedly for any form of injury rehabilitation.

I've been a patient here, at various times for different running and skiing injuries over the last 5 years or so. I cannot recommend David Harris and the team highly enough. Oxford Circus Physio is an extremely professional environment, run and staffed by people who genuinely care about you and what they do, while at the same time being very friendly and welcoming. They go the extra mile to make sure you get the appointment you need, always respond to emails, make sure you're clear on the treatment and exercises etc. I absolutely wouldn't go anywhere else.
S. M.
What a brilliant, creative, super knowledgeable Physio. I found therapy gold, and avoided a knee operation. David Harris designed a remedial exercise program using bands and sticks to get around the gyms being closed due to the lockdown. The exercises really helped my knee pathology, especially his innovative methods for internal rotation of the femur. I highly recommend David Harris.
To add in December 2020:
I have had Hylauronic injections before in my right knee, but with no success.
However, David used ultrasound to locate the precise point of my knee pathology to inject the Hyaluronic acid into with great success!
My knee has felt very strong one week after the injection, with very little inflammation post leg work outs. David also selected the type/brand
of Hylauronic to inject.
I am really happy with the results and I am going to get a Hylauronic injection every 6 months!

Oxford Circus Physio have given me excellent treatment to manage a painful and long-standing back problem. David Harris and his team are highly professional but also extremely friendly and considerate and without them I would struggle to continue my working life. The gym is also impressive and I have already recommended the practice to a friend who enjoyed the benefit of their expertise.
M. S.
I injured my knee and was told by a work colleague about how good Oxford Circus Physiotherapy is.
The physio I saw was David Harris, who is very knowledgeable, friendly and I found his sessions and the personal online summary and exercises for my runners knee very helpful. He even cut a few extra plasters for me and showed me how to tape my knee up for future runs. I was worried that I would miss out on my two up and coming marathons but found that with the treatments and by doing my exercises (a must obviously), that I recovered pretty quickly and i still aim to do both my marathons. If I need any future treatments I will definitely be seeing David Harris again. All the staff at the practice are very friendly too. Many thanks to you David!
J. E.
I have been treated by David Harris for two injuries in the past year, the first time a calf injury after an accident and the second a knee injury after a marathon. Both times I have found him to be an excellent Physiotherapist, the sessions are very effective and combined with the exercises he gave me to complete at home I have made a full recovery from both injuries. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
L.
I would highly recommend Oxford Circus Physio. I started my marathon training with a shin and calf issue, however, Alice Prescott was fantastic! She helped me to readjust my training plan allowing me to strengthen, recover and still train for my marathon. I somehow managed to make a full recovery will still doing heavy mileage and complete my marathon completely injury free in a time I was very happy with!
F. M.
I received several physiotherapy treatments from Zoe Jessop after injuring my calf. From the outset, Zoe was incredible at diagnosing the issue and explaining everything with clarity. The treatments that Zoe provided worked wonders and within just under a month I was ready to run the Dublin marathon. I also had a couple of sessions after the marathon to ensure I was still making progress and I was given plenty of advice and exercises to build my strength up to prevent future injuries. The entire service was incredibly professional, easy and supportive. I can highly recommend them to anyone suffering from any exercise-related injuries.
K. B.
I highly recommend Oxford Circus Physiotherapy. The team are fantastic and I've been really happy with all the treatment I have received - physio, sports massage and podiatry. The team have worked alongside my personal trainer to resolve some old injury related issues and provided valuable support throughout my marathon training.
C. B.
I injured my knee about 2.5 years ago and I had constant pain. I saw a few physios but no one seemed to identify what the problem was. I was even told that I should consider exploratory surgery! A friend recommended this clinic and I couldn't be happier. David has literally saved my knee. I was given a rehab plan to follow at the gym, which he modifies depending on my progress. I am on my way to recovery but most important of all, the pain is gone. Thanks team!
P. K.
Highly recommended.
My experience with Oxford Circus Physio was second to none. Extremely professional, courteous and always polite, as well as flexible when you need to change appointments.
Zoe was amazing, and seems to have healing powers.
The quality of care was excellent and I've been pain free for a long time.
M. R.
Went to David Harris on a recommendation from the Serpentine RC after several months of treatment (with limited results) with another physio. He put together a detailed program which addressed the injury and more importantly the underlying causes. Great follow up and monitoring during the process. Very pleased with the overall experience and result. Highly recommended.

I am a professional Ballet teacher and fitness instructor and I run about 20-30 miles a week and train for / take part in various different races. I have suffered various injuries in the past and went to various different people for treatment who were not really very helpful, they would just diagnose me and tell me to rest which is not really very convenient with my job/hobbies!! David however identified and helped me strengthen up all my weaknesses so hopefully the same injuries won't occur again and I will be able to run happy :-)
overall very good service and I highly recommend it to runners and dancers and anybody else who does a lot of sport! David will get you back on your feet and if you follow all your rehab exercises you will stay injury free.
J. R.
i've used these guys on several occasions (3 seperate injuries - i'm that age group) and have nothing but good things to say. David Harris and his team are tremendous, both for diagnosis, and regular run of the mill training injuries, as well as for post surgical rehab.
facility is great also - changing rooms and a great gym if you need .
highly recommended.
M. K.
Highly capable physios that get to the heart of the matter!
I've been going to Oxford Circus for over a year now with various different rugby-related injuries and each time (and in spite of my ageing body) they've managed to get me back on the pitch.
Recently I've been working with David who is incredibly thorough in his approach - he listens closely to your concerns and really takes the time to understand not just what your symptoms are, but also to get the root cause of the issue.
The trade-off (as with any physio) is that you have to do the exercises he prescribes, if you stick to them, he'll have you up and running in no time!
R. H.
David Harris & Alice Prescott are both fantastic. I have received numerous treatments here due to over training at the gym and they always managed to fix the problem. David's knowledge of the human body is incredible and he managed to identify the main problem in my first session with him where other physio's had failed to locate what was causing a recurring injury in my shoulder.
A. B.
A very professional and friendly physiotheraphy practice. I have been seeing David Harris for years - he is an excellent physio and has seen me through all kinds of problems, from ACL reconstructions to back and shoulder problems, ensuring I have been rehabilitated thoroughly and to the highest level. Iwona, the sports massage therapist is also excellent. Highly recommended.
S. H.
I was extremely skeptical about trying yet another physio for my v problematic neck, but after much persuasion and nagging from a close friend who had been helped by them, I went along. The first few sessions were tough but I persisted, as did David, and over time the pain has much improved which is a great relief as I want to avoid further surgery if I possibly can. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, David is immensely experienced and really listens to what's been going on. In return you have to do what he advises, regularly and religiously! Really grateful to my persistent friend and for the recommendation!
K. A.
Lovely staff and great services. I had two problems when I came in, one was an ankle sprain which never seemed to recover and one was a partial rotator cuff sprain. Louisa managed to fix the ankle problem in no time and despite me thinking that the shoulder problem could never really be solved after numerous physios, her rehab plan was great for strengthening and results showed after 10 days. Both back to normal now.
W. K.
David and his team are great physios. Good location, clean and bright treatment rooms and - most important - a very professional approach, taking the time to explain the assessment and treatment. Make good use of online tools for exercises. If I need to, I'll go again!
m. j.
I turned to David and his team after struggling for years with persistent knee pain that no other physio I had seen could resolve. David was meticulous in his analysis and quickly diagnosed the problem. I followed the training programme that he provided and for the first time in years I am now pain free! I cannot recommend David highly enough and would never consider going anywhere else for fitness or rehabilitation advice.
K. T.
I would highly recommend Oxford Circus Physio, the facilities and staff are fantastic. My injury has significantly improved and I feel confident in what I've learnt to prevent causing further damage. I was also impressed by how much my physio was able to fit into each session.
S. M.
I have been to several physios over the last few years and David has been the best not only in his treatment but also in informing me of how to prevent re-occurrence. Their personal online exercises summary is also very useful. They were recommended to me by a colleague, who sees Zoe and gave a glowing reference.
T. R.
Alice Prescott has been really fantastic at helping me recover from a severe calf injury. When I tore my calf muscle 14 cm, I was under the impression that I wouldn't be able to return to a full range of sporting activities, but after 6 months of treatment, I'm back to doing even the most strenuous workouts and feeling close to 100%. The folks at Oxford Circus physio have a high level of knowledge combined with an extremely professional attitude, and I'm delighted to recommend them.
M. M.
I would highly recommend Oxford Circus Physiotherapy.
David Harris is the best specialist. I've suffered from different sprains over the past months and I've been given exceptional treatments that are helping me gain strength in both legs to avoid future injuries.
S. G.
I recently saw Zoe following a foot/ ankle injury and I am absolutely delighted with the results. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional and took great care in assessing the injury as well as wider issues that I've experienced whilst running. I have seen a number of physios over the years and this was by far the best experience. I wouldn't think about going anywhere else if I got injured again! Thanks guys.
A. A.
I've seen Alice Prescott for a persistent neck and shoulder issue over the last few months. Her treatment has always helped massively and kept me able to train which is vital for my work as a coach. All the physio's here understand sports requirements and that total rest is not always possible or even recommended.
G. E.
For the last 10 years i've worked with David Harris to rehab several sports injuries, from; broken ankles & torn tendons to dislocated shoulders. Several times i thought i'd have to quit playing rugby and other sports but DH always provided me with an accurate diagnosis and POA for a long term recovery.
Not only have i personally followed him from his previous clinic to the excellent new facility at Oxford Circus Physiotherapy but i've also recommended him to several friends and family members.
If actions speak louder than words - i thought i'd have to throttle back several times over the last 10 years from Rugby/Sport injuries but DH has worked his magic and everything feels great!
Highly recommended,
Best,
GE

My wife and I could not recommend David Harris and his practice highly enough. He has been extraordinary in helping my wife, who had been suffering from a shoulder ailment for an extended period of time. The first round of physio (with another practice) had made things worse. Had this not gone right, the only option was surgery.
Not only was he empathetic with her situation, he offered her excellent advice, in addition to treating her over three months. She is now 'fully better', as our 4 year old says, and we have him to thank.
I myself had what David calls a 'common occurrence' - I had a massive lower back spasm, and boy was it painful. I worried I'd never play cricket again. As he was already treating my wife I naturally went to him for help. Once again, we were in expert hands. He explained exactly what had happened to me and how I would recover. I got steadily better, and haven't looked back ever since.
Tragically this means we haven't needed to see him since, but I suppose that's the result he wanted. Our best wishes are with him.
J. G.
Just as much a great gym as a physiotherapist. I visit for physiotherapy. I've tried a few physiotherapists. The professionalism, thoroughness and customer service are all to the highest standards. The team practice up to date knowledge of sports science and physiotherapy and curate your program to your abilities or problems. Costs are reasonable and comparable to others in the area. The gym, although I've not used it, seems fantastic and offers personal training, I'd consider it if I was a regular in the area.
R. L.
Always use the physio services at OCP and occasionally the massage therapy! They have a new massage therapist Gail. I had a deep tissue massage session on Friday and it was amazing. Gail is really friendly and puts you at ease straight away. The treatment was just amazing, with Gail understanding my previous injuries and understanding of the treatment I receive from my physio at OCP. Its been a few days since my treatment and my muscles, particularly my shoulders and mid back just felt amazing. Thank you OCP and Gail :-)

Until About 5 years I was very active in all kinds of sport from boxing to circuits. I had a niggling back pain which suddenly one day in the gym left me unable to walk for two weeks, I had problems standing up due to the pain in my lower back. I couldn't handle my own body weight on standing up, after being bed bound for two weeks it gradually got better. I was never the same again constantly had pains in my back effecting my moral, couldn't sit anywhere without lumber support, stiff back after driving I was a mess. whenever I pushed myself it would flare up again and I would be bed bound for a week or so, it got me depressed and helpless. over the five years I started to get the flareups more frequently, I applied through my gp and the nhs for physio and pilates but it was only a temporary fix, It would be back to square one after a few weeks, I was like an 80 year old with lower back issues. I went privately and got MR scan etc to find I have bad discs. About a year ago I had another flare up just through sleeping awkwardly, I though at the age of 34 if its this bad I will end up in a wheelchair very soon. I went to my gp requesting physio again and was told fine but I may wait up to a year, I asked if she knew of anyone privately she told me to look on the internet, after reading reviews It kept on coming up with David Harris from oxford physio. I decided to book a consultation no matter what the costs I was desperate! it was surprisingly cheap tbh. After 5 years of researching myself seeing numerous gp's and physios through the nhs and scans! After 20 mins of examining David told me I have a bulging disc etc explained what was happening and why I had issues and how I could improve it etc. My first session he have me a simple workout plan, tbh I didn't see how it would change anything but I kept to it every two weeks I went to see him and he would add and improve my workouts. After a few months I realised one day that I was sitting on a stool in a coffee shop with no lumbar support for 30 mins and had no back pain! this was unimaginable a few months before Now after a year of session going once every few months my back is so much better I’m able to go boxing classes and do other vigorous challenging sports and I have my moral and ambition back. I cant thank David Harris enough for his help. He’s very professional highly qualified and also a very guy. I would 100% recommend him to anyone who struggles with lower back issues.

I arranged therapy sessions at Oxford Circus Physiotherapy following advice from Dr. Dominic Spicer (Cromwell Hospital, London), who had recommended Mrs. Susan Clarke as the right person to treat my chronic knee problems. And indeed she was! I have now completed the first course of treatment (six sessions), and the progress is truly remarkable. Already after the first session, I noticed a marked improvement in the way my legs felt when jogging, and the level of pain previously associated with certain movements has already been greatly reduced. Mrs. Clarke is also very effective and realistic when prescribing the daily exercises to be done in between sessions. She selects efficient programmes, which are short enough to be followed even by a busy person, and helps me remembering the proper way to carry out the exercises by sending little instructions via the web.
I plan to continue the treatment and hope that I will be able to run a Marathon again in 2015, after a hiatus of number of years. I wholeheartedly recommend the Oxford Circus Physiotherapy Centre and in particular Mrs. Clarke to anyone with sports injuries.
D. J.
I am a professional ballet dancer and I have been seeing David Harris for physiotherapy for years. He has helped me recover from a knee surgery and had me back on stage in 8wks. I have seen many physiotherapist in LA, NYC, and London, I can defiantly say he is one of the best!
D. S.
The service is friendly and efficient. I have seen Alice Prescott, one of the physio's on the team, for various sporting injuries over the past couple of years - she is always extremely professional, friendly and helpful, and I value her experience and expertise. I would highly recommend this clinic.
A. T.
Would absolute return to Oxford Physio (although hope that I don't need to!). They treatment that I received from Louisa was excellent, and the service in general was really impressive. Each appt. came with follow up notes and video reminders of how to do the given exercises - all really useful and very thorough.
M. O.
David and the team at Oxford Circus Physiotherapy provide an excellent service and I would recommend the practice without hesitation. I have been a regular visitor to the practice for a number of years and always find the team to be professional and friendly. Excellent service.
R. T.
I highly recommend Oxford Circus Physiotherapy. David Harris and the whole team are fantastic - extremely knowledgable, friendly and supportive. David immediately pinpointed the issue I was having with my wrist and quickly resolved it. They work closely with Performance Pro so you get a seamless service. I can't speak highly enough of them.
S. C.
David has been treating me for chronic whiplash/cervical spine injury for over a year now. David was recommended by a friend as I was having difficulties finding a Physio that specialised in this sort of injury and that I was happy with. His expertise and treatment methods are excellent and have made a significant difference to my condition and I cannot recommend him enough.
R. S.
Highly recommend this place. I went a year after knee surgery and a bad ankle sprain as I was still experiencing a lot of pain and less mobility than I should. Within 4-6 sessions, my ankle had shown amazing improvement. Great work, friendly, good exercises which were easy to follow.
G. W.
A very strong recommendation. I had 2+ years of not being able to run before seeing David for foot/ankle issues where MRI scans were showing no damage and two previous physios had not been able to help. I found him to be very knowledgeable, logical and methodical and am now back running. Thanks David!
M. V.
Fab all round. Went to see Alice Prescott for my whiplash and she was so brilliant I recommended her to everyone I know that's got some sort of injury or ache :) Don't be a stubborn bugger like me. Go see Alice (or someone else at Oxford Circus Physio) as soon as possible! Not only did I feel amazing pretty quickly, she also emailed me a treatment plan with stretches and exercises that I could refer to. The care there is pretty top.
K. C.
I had issues with both my shoulder and hamstring. The team at Oxford Circus Physio were incredible and the rehab plans were highly tailored and flexible to make sure I could continue rehab whilst on holiday. If I have any issues in the future I will certainly be back to the team.
I. L.
Prompt and professional service. Louisa quickly assessed the injury to my lower back and provided a detailed treatment plan to get me sorted as quickly as possible. After a couple of visits I was back lifting weights in the gym. Would definitely recommend their services.
K. M.
Top class team. I'd been going to Gail and Nikaela in particular and could not recommend them enough - the relief I've got for my back (office worker / bad posture, so incredibly stiff) is unbelievable. Continue going back because the quality is so good and they're so knowledgeable.
N. P.
I have been going to OC for over a year now. I had a serious injury to my hip and while I was waiting for my surgery I regularly saw Iwona Wowak for deep tissue massage. She is an outstanding massage therapist. The massages she provided were the best form of pain relief, and enabled me to function more normally in my day-to-day life.
After my surgery, I had physiotherapy with Zoe Jessop. She is very friendly and knowledgeable, and because of her help I have made a full recovery. Zoe was happy to work with my personal trainer and the other healthcare professionals involved in my recovery. She was always available to provide advice and guidance, as well as specific training to guide my recovery.
I highly recommend Zoe, Iwona and the team at OC!

Each time I have visited Zoe at Oxford Circus Physiotherapy with a running injury (Achilles and strained calf muscle), the sports massage she has given me has relieved the pain immediately and helped be to start training again within a few days. She also provided and demonstrated a great, simple set of exercises to help avoid the problem in the future. I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit here if you are suffering from a sports injury.
J. H.
Louisa was extremely helpful and knowledgable, helping me understand what was wrong with my back and how best to approach improving it. The practice itself is really calm, clean and modern. I'd be more than happy to recommend her and this practice to anyone looking for a physio.
Y. J.
I've just had the best sports massage at Oxford Circus Physio with a fantastic therapist called Iwona Not only has she managed to heal all of my never ending aches and back pains but I am now able to literally jump out of bed in the morning.
All that after one only session!
Iwona knew exactly which specific areas to target and explained in great detail to me how this had been caused.
I play a lot of sport and will definitely be coming back for regular treatments to keep me agile and pain free.
J. M.
I have been seeing Zoe for a range of injuries for the last 5 years. Zoe is an excellent physio and has always managed to identify the problem and treat the injury.
Oxford Circus Physiotherapy has excellent facilities and the staff are helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend their services.
P. C.
I have been receiving treatements at Oxford Circus Physiotherapy for the last year or so; my physiotherapist, Alice Prescott is very knowledgable and has helped me make considerable progress with my lower back injury, by providing hands-on treatment (e.g. tension-release massage), accupuncture, consultation, rehabiliation exercises.
Additionally, the service has been excellent - no issues with handling private insurance payments, arranging appointments via email, in person or over the phone, being treated on time.
P. S.
In June 2013, while abroad, I fell and badly broke my ankle, I was unable to walk on my ankle for 3 months and upon my return to the UK , I asked a medical practitioner friend who he would recommend to help me. I was feeling desperate and could really see no end to my problems. I met with David Harris, charming and precise in his diagnosis, clearly understanding my problem without joining in with my despair and making it worse, he takes no prisoners!...He has just the right approach to get you to do things, when you are really fearing doing anything...well it worked! and I was transformed in a few sessions, allowing me to travel to Tokyo a couple of months later. This year I have had need to visit David again with a herniated disc, again excellent and precise treatment, followed up with wonderful online demos of the prescribed exercises, no excuse for not doing them now! Also I have had a few sessions with Susan Clarke, she was also terrific. I can't recommend them highly enough.
R. B.
I would highly recommend Oxford Circus Physio! 4 weeks before the London Marathon I hurt my knee, sending me into a bit of a panic and a lot of doubt about whether I would be able to run it at all. But thanks to Louisa & her treatment plan I made it through the full 26.2miles pain free!!
S. P.
I saw Alice Barford at the practice, and she was amazing! Not only was my injury quickly diagnosed, but the care and physio regime was expertly delivered, with a smile, and thus my injury was treated quickly. Alice understood, that as a nurse, I couldn't just give up my job, which caused, but also continually aggravated the injury. Alice worked with me to tailor make an exercise program that would not only heal, but prevent the injury occuring. I received an email with photograph and written instructions of the exercises, in case I forgot or needed to clarify. Alice's professionalism and expertise was second to none. 100% recommended! Thank you Alice!

Highly recommend OCP. Have been twice treated by David Harris, previously for an elbow injury and currently for a shoulder and neck issue. His treatment and advice enabled a full recovery from my elbow injury and I am noticing significant improvements to the pain in my shoulder and neck. The location is very convenient and the facilities are excellent.

A fabulously kitted out training & physio facility in central london, Oxford Circus. David has personally helped me throughout my running career & I would recommend (I have done to all my clients) & friends/family too) him & the team. Think high end, discerning service with a smile!

I was referred here by one of the countries leading knee surgeons. After having a year of excellent treatment I can see why. Friendly and professional. Nothing is ever too much effort. My own GP had the same knee injury as me at the same time as me. His recovery took 4 months longer than mine which speaks volumes about this place.
M. P.
A wonderful physiotherapy centre filled with friendly, approachable and highly professional Physiotherapists and Personal Trainers. They have helped me massively to work on a few annoying issues i got diagnosed with at the beginning of the year in a timely and effective manner. If you are looking for a place where to train, recover, work out or get a great physio massage i couldn't recommend Oxford Circus Physiotherapy more.

David Harris is an excellent physiotherapist. I have been seeing him on and off since i ran the marathon, tore a ligament post a fall, and now for a trek to Everest base camp.
He understands the endurance of challenges we put ourself through and works programs for you around them so you are able to achieve what you wish for, uninjured and come out stronger with more insight into a healthy lifestyle and your body. His teamwork with surgeons, podiatrists, personal trainers and massage therapists is fantastic so you feel like you are at a one stop shop and all the people helping you are aligned and giving you the best advice working together. His massage therapist Iwona Wowak is amongst the best i have ever had – i will keep going to her for prevention of injury.

When I started working with David Harris in December 2015 I had a torn aductor, start of a stress fracture in my pelvis and a pre-existing ruptured hamstring that were all inhibiting my running. Ironically I needed to be in the best shape of my life as I was signed up to do the Marathon des Sables in April 2016 (Labelled 'TheToughest Footrace on Earth' - 16o miles over 6 days in the Sahara desert). 3 days ago I completed the MDS in Morocco thanks to David and his team at Pro Performance. I can give no higher testimonial. David is the best physio I've ever worked with, and I've worked with plenty!

I would highly recommend Oxford Circus Physio and David in particular. Each time I've had to visit he's been extremely thorough and always sorted out the problem quickly. I used to work nearby but no longer do and because of that tried a different Physio who wasn't half as good, so I'm now travelling from London Bridge to see David as it's definitely worth it.

After tripping over on some steps for the third time in as many months, I figured I should probably see someone professional when it didn't stop hurting after a month. And I'm glad I did! David was recommended to me and he didn't disappoint. He was able to explain to me why it kept on happening (and it wasn't just down to me being clumsy), what was wrong with it, why it was still hurting and most importantly, how to make it better. I was given exercises to do at home so I wasn't relying solely on my sessions with David too. The overall experience is that I felt like I was in trustworthy (magically healing) hands and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

I have been going to OCP for a few months now for an ankle injury and cannot recommend them enough. David (Harris) has been amazing and his advice and help has been invaluable for my recovery. I cannot believe the change and am now able to run again, which I didn't think I would be able to do! All of the staff friendly and extremely efficient and the location is great. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Leaders in their field - and they compliment a top class physiotherapy practice with an in-house strength and conditioning / nutritionist / masseur / gym unit. I have been going to them since they started and they cater for all types of physio needs whether people trying to get back to fitness for elite sport / amateur sport and solve the root of the problem rather than just paper over the cracks. You'll be hard pressed to find anywhere better than this.

Oxford Circus Physiotherapy caters for your wildest fitness and wellbeing dreams. If you want to be treated as a professional athelete, this is the place to come. All the staff are really helpful, professional, friendly and honest in helping you to achieve your targest.
Alongside David, I have been treated by other specialists and together, have created a special treatment package and environement which allows me to pursue the many activities and challenges I set myself.
I have also refered non-sporty friends to Oxford Circus Physio who have also found the experience very professional and helpful.

I have an office job and quite often suffer from pain between my shoulder blades. I booked a massage session with Iwona at the OC Physiotheprapy Clinic to relief the pain as it was getting worse and worse. The session was really good and I felt much better the next day. Iwona is very professional and knowledgeable about the body’s physiques – she basically knows what she’s doing. I have been there few times since then and I can truly recommend it to anyone.
F. W.
I have been seeing Zoe Jessop at this practice for several years and she has worked wonders on my tired overused muscles. When I first saw her, she did a thorough consultation to try and establish the cause of the problem. She has given me a lot of advice and exercises to do to try and improve my running. I don't think I would have got through my marathons if it hadn't of been for Zoe and I would have no hesitation in recommending her.
I would also highly recommend a sports massage with Iwona Wowak.

I have been suffering from a neck injury for almost 10 years after a bad accident and I have tried many physiotherapists with no luck until I found Alice!! She is fantastic, I have noticeable improvement in the range of movement and pain. The best physiotherapy in London.
K. S.
I entered this clinic with a warm welcome and then proceeded with a short consultation with what issues needed tending to. My therapist was very friendly and professional, making the treatment plan a comfortable experience. Every step was explained and the after care is superb.
I feel confident with their services and the advice given so I highly recommend this clinic!
D. B.
Convenient booking experience, great physiotherapy session that sorted out my ankle pain. Communication from the physiotherapist was good, got lots of info. Would go again for any future problems.
N. L.
I had a niggling knee problem which Joce Harris diagnosed and treated brilliantly. She gave me a really great rehabilitation programme, and now my knee is fully recovered. I would thoroughly recommend this practice.

Highly recommend Oxford circus Physio!
Super helpful, very knowledgeable, always on time. Great care and really helped with treatments and exercises - now fully mended!
Most of all, top notch service with a smile!

I was referred to David Harris for a sporting injury, and after only 4 thorough sessions was able to start playing again. A friendly, expert service with great facilities, staff and follow up. I wouldn't go anywhere else for physiotherapy.
I. B.
Changed my life. I've been to lots of other physical therapists in the past. From Harley Street Practices to NHS. Most take too long to diagnose the underlying issue, and spend most of the session logging in the PC what your symptoms and not enough time on the table. In ONE session here, I would say my pain was diminished by at least 70% and the problem was resolved totally in 4 sessions.
The staff is SO supportive, attentive and understanding along every step of the journey from injury to walking out feeling fresh.
You'll be in safe hands here!
B. M.
This is such a great clinic. I had a wonderful experience and the sports massage therapist, Iwona Wowak, is extremely professional and knowledgeable. I suffer from a bad back (scoliosis) and she is managing to relieve the tensions in my back immensely. I strongly recommend her services.
P. R.
I've seen David Harris for a number of years, and the treatment you get at Oxford Circus is absolutely first class. For an active person, they are brilliant at keeping me in one piece and functioning well!
H. G.
I have suffered from a recurring neck issue for a number of years. The treatment I received from David Harris has been more effective than anything else I have tried and I am hopeful, provided I have followed the advice he has given me, that it may not return in the future. The relief from the pain and discomfort is most welcome and really appreciated. Would thoroughly recommend.
L. H.
I would highly recommend OCP because all the physios are extremely knowledgable, you are never pushed into more sessions than are absolutely necessary, each session maximises time for treatment and you always receive a comprehensive exercise plan for use at home.
R. B.
Zoe is brilliant, she has a great understanding of all the latest techniques - has helped me using dry needling in my calfs, massage, pressure points and a little manipulation in my back and taped my ankle to allow another injury to settle down.
Practical and effective
J. M.
David was excellent. He was the most thorough physiotherapist I have seen and he suggested practical exercises to improve those areas of weakness found in my assessment. Top notch.
S. W.
Turned up after having a shoulder reconstruction following a rugby injury. Was given useful advice up-front and great treatment from Zoe over around 3 months which got me back playing rugby with strength and confidence I needed. Thank you so much!
T. P.
highly recommended. I have been seeing David for a number of years now for a number of ailments and he has always been helpful, meticulous and, whenever pulverising various muscles, amusing to take my mind off the pain . He also thinks outside the box and has diagnosed other ailments, one serious, and referred me to the relevant specialist. Other staff at the practice are also first class: Iwana, Louisa and Alice, among others.
A. C.
I highly recommend Oxford Circus Physiotherapy, I was suffering from a painful neck joint sprain (stiff neck followed by what felt like a trapped nerve), After two sessions with David I made a speedy, full recovery. I only wish I made the decision to go earlier.
J. L.
Excellent practice that I cannot rate highly enough. Back problem treated by Jocelyn Harris who is very skilled, supportive and genuinely caring. Location is ideal with great facilities, perfect for busy people who need an efficient service at a reasonable price.
D. B.
I have worked with, and been treated by the team at OCP for many years. They have seen me through 3 knee operations, 1 shoulder operation, a hip replacement, lumbar disc issues and multiple aches and pains. The whole team are fantastic.
J. P.
I am currently seeing Dave Harris for treatment for an MCL knee injury. His knowledge and application is second to none. Great location and and friendly atmosphere. I can't recommend highly enough.
M. S.
My remedial massage with Iwona Wowak was very effective and I would highly recommend her. Her assessment was thorough and precise and she worked with enthusiasm. Iwona was perceptive and sensitive and even emailed me some follow-up exercises. The practice is very near to Oxford Circus and not difficult to find.
P. K.
I have been having sports massages from Iwona for a year now and she is without a doubt the best masseuse I have ever been to see. My running problems have improved since seeing her and I always feel amazing afterwards.
A. K.
Iwona is a complete gem and is literally my secret tip to sorting out any aches I have. She understand the human body and its muscles better than anyone I ever met before and knows exactly what she's doing, what needs to be done, and is a complete professional. Could not recommend her more!
S. D.
I had a positive experience. I visited the centre because of a back problem, and I received excellent support in understanding not only the cause of the problem, but also how to recover and prevent this from happening again. David was recommended to me by a friend, and I would certainly recommend him to others now.
M. G.
I couldn't rate the Oxford Circus Physiotherapy centre more. I first went in on crutches unable to move and now my ankle feels stronger than ever. Huge thanks to David Harris!
J. T.
had problems that I thought would never be resolved until went to OCP. Brilliant physio in Alice Barford and now feeling as young as I look.
Premises are top notch but means nothing without the expertise they have provided.

I've seen Alice Prescott a couple of times now (wrist and back) and each time she has instantly diagnosed the problem which has yielded immediate results. Is this a form of witchcraft?

I had physiotherapy with David following my ACL reconstruction. I was given an easy to follow and varied plan throughout the recovery which allowed for clear progression. David helped throughout the process and his reassurance and experience helped greatly, as well as his solutions for pain I was experiencing post op. The PerformancePro Fitness arm (located in the same location as Oxford Circus Physio) also helped greatly when I was ready to move on to the final stage of rehab. Many thanks to David and Will McAuley throughout the process.
