I was referred to Rhys following 5 years of hip pain & 10 hip surgeries including a total hip replacement in December 2019. Due to the pandemic I wasn't able to have the right care following my hip replacement and as a result for months and months I was suffering in pain. My consultant tried two more surgeries, plus multiple injections of steroids and PRP injections but I just wasn't getting any relief and not only did it make me feel miserable but it stopped me from doing just day to day tasks.
In December, I met Rhys and within the first session he found what he thought was the problem. Since then, he has used all his expertise and advice to help correct the problems. Everything he has done so far has made a huge improvement on my day to day living. I have finally felt pain free for the first time in 5 years.
His attention to detail, his guidance and his support paired with his friendly manner are all attributes that make Rhys my knight in shining armour. Whenever I have emailed him, even late in the evening he will always reply promptly, the online system is easy to use and appointments have been readily available to suit my needs.
I also have to say that the whole team at Physical Edge are incredibly lovely too. Every time I've had to ring to make an appointment, change an appointment or even just ask a question whoever I've come across has been friendly, positive and easy to deal with.
The whole team, especially Rhys deserves 5* and more and I highly highly recommend Physical Edge to everyone.

I met Rhys through my surgeon further to a nasty ski accident. Rhys’s outstanding knowledge, his patience and highly motivational advice have been pivotal in getting me back on my feet. It’s been a long journey and my rehab wouldn’t have been achievable without him. I have recommended Rhys to friends and family alike who were all impressed by his skills and knowledge.

There is no one else I’d rather see than Physical Edge. I’ve been using them for many years now, for various sporting injuries to my ankle, shoulder and knee. They have provided fantastic post operative care after reconstruction of my shoulder and I'm currently working with them to recover from my second ACL reconstruction. Physical edge provides second to none post operative care, if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have got back to sport and my daily activities as quickly. I can’t speak of them highly enough.

Rhys is quite simply the best physio therapist in the UK. Have been going to him for nearly a decade and his results are just incredible. You arrive in pain and leave pain free. Can't ask for more.
He helped me recover from a serious ACL injury and I was kite surfing and skiing 7 months later.
I could not recommend him more highly.
Great care and great bloke.

Rhys has been my go to physio for the past decade. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He always validates any concerns I may have around my injuries or pain. He has always progressed me with challenging treatment options and rehab drills. I highly recommend Rhys!

Rhys sorted out a decade long problem of bilateral calf pain that had been stopping me from running more than 5km per week. There had been many medical hypotheses including claudication and compartment pressures. He studied a video of me running on a tread mill, analysed with lines and angles, and picked up I was a dominant heel striker/over stride/ alteration of height and saggital balance, all leading to overload of the posterior chain. Weak gluteals fatigued and the calf muscles then were over worked. He sent me videos from YouTube about how to run properly with correct cadence and muscle groups. And with hard work last year I managed to complete the Loch Ness marathon! Thanks Rhys. Andy (not Emily. She has taken over my gmail account by the looks of it😆)

Femy is the best , her knowledge about the anatomy of the body is impeccable. She not only guided me through my pregnancies , did post pregnancy work on my body but also visits us on a regular basis and does magic.
We trust her fully no matter what she is suggesting during the session. She is calm and has an amazing energy that relaxes you instantly .
Femy is a gem!
