Impact Physio has given me a new lease of life, for the first time in 6 years I don't worry about my backache and Joe has been great.
She listened about my previous experience to create a unique plan for me that was so adaptive and really work.
Hard work and Joe's help has really changed my life

I had 8 Physio sessions with my physio therapist Chris and he was most helpful and considerate throughout for all of my problems. He always gave good advise and posted exercises for me to do at home which helped immensley. What I saw of the Long Eaton Impact Physiotherapy place the therapists who work there were well equipped and trained to deal with any of your problems to re habilitate.

If you are looking for a great physio I would highly recommend Christine Koh. Friendly, practical advice that worked to manage a back injury. Great sports massage and an easy to follow program of exercises provided that has got me back on the bike, in the pool and on the road.

Required Impact physio again to help me with my back and knee discomfort / pain, over several sessions. Ali was a superstar, listening and providing a program to get me feeling a lot better, can't recommend enough.

Had treatment for a very painful back problem & the physiotherapy given by Impact gradually alleviated the problem. My therapist listened to me, answered my questions & the treatment recommended worked, hence 5 stars in this review.

My First experience was with Chris Davenport on referral for hip and spine problems by my GP.
Two courses done and he recommended Hatha yoga to supplement his treatment and help me long term.
However before I could implement it lockdown came in so it was delayed until Autumn this year.
I signed (with Mariangela)not fully knowing or expecting much in the way of personal tailoring or yoga exercise to be relevant to my situation.
I needn’t have worried as the class of six is like minded and Mariangela caters (and cares) for us all. Bonus is it seems to be working; thanks Mariangela.
The covid care from all at LE clinic is first class and not uncomfortable allowing for windows open.
Reception staff always friendly with a smile.
All in all just the tonic

Having long term back pain is not easy and same goes for three discectomies. Initially my physiotherapist was chosen for me by a spinal surgeon and I went with his choice but after meeting Louise and going through her 1:1 sessions I ended up attending the Long Eaton clinic for the last six years.
Louise has an impressive knowledge base and will always find a way to keep you mobile even when you feel you won't ever be able to move normal . During the years we worked together on my back she attended many courses and conferences and her skills make it so that , somehow, we still rarely repeat an exercise and I am sure there are many more to discover. She worked her "magic" on me so many times that I now only trust her with my recovery from yet another discectomy.
Due to her skills I managed to lead a normal life, I was able to keep my job which can be quite strenuous , I travelled long distances by plane or car , basically kept active.
My admiration for Louise is endless. Not only she is an excellent physiotherapist and Pillates instructor, but she is also a wonderful human being ,who in this day and age has maintained empathy and compassion for the suffering of those around her.
I wouldn't want to miss Laura and Sandy and the whole reception team from this review . Thank you for your help and support over the years ladies!
It is much appreciated.

My daughter was referred by her GP and we had 2 appointments with Louise. She was brilliant and really good with my 8 year old daughter. Both appointments were thorough and my daughter was shown lots of different exercises to do at home with explanations of how they would help her. We also had emails showing the exercises in videos as well. The appointments were during 'covid times' as well and we felt very safe.

I was referred to Impact by my GP as I needed a face to face appointment whilst we were in lockdown due to Covid 19. I was allocated the lovely Louise Leeming who assessed my painful shoulder, partly due to tight muscles having spent too much of my working life hunched over a computer and a recent injury to my arm/shoulder causing a little nerve damage I believe.
I was given a clear action to plan to help me get more movement
in my shoulder and improve my posture. An exercise plan was emailed over to me and I diligently worked my way through the set exercises and the improvement was obvious. Sadly I was only allowed a set amount of time paid for by the NHS before I was discharged. I now keep up with the exercises to retain was has been achieved. Whilst I still have some pain on bad days, that is nothing compared how it was before Louise worked her magic.
I would highly recommend Impact to anyone who needs the services of a good physiotherapist.

Having pulled a hamstring at work and being unable to walk for a few days,my wife booked me in with impact Physio.I was looking at being off work for about 2-3 months. On the day of my appointment,I was met by a pretty young lady who got me to walk away from her then back again a few times.I was then asked to lie on my back on the couch where a pair of expert hands gently massaged the delicate hamstring area.A bit of manipulation got me a bit of pain, causing me to jolt slightly, but I was expecting worse anyway.I was then asked to lie face down on the couch. My lower back was then massaged and manipulated. The whole session took probably 30 minutes. The physiotherapist was always talking to me,saying what she was going to do, and wether or not I would experience any pain or discomfort. She was very good at her job, and did it professionally.Within 2 weeks, I was back at work.If you need a physiotherapist, look no further than Impact Physio. They don't come cheap, but you pay for what you get, rather than get what you pay for.Mine was worth every penny.I will definitely use Impact Physio again if i need to.

Would totally recommend Impact Physio, and in particular Annalise. Referred here due to neck/shoulder pain during Covid, the service was safe, professional and most importantly effective. Annalise spent time to really understand the background to my issues to treat the cause, as well as the symptoms

I was reffered by my G.P following an M.R.I of my back. Feeling so stiff and in considerable pain I was prepared to try anything. I have a complex household and committing to any appointments reguarly would normally be tricky. A positive from the pandemic meant I was to access my physio through telephone calls (don't answer "capital give me the cash") and a skype video call.
I am extremely grateful to Sally for the totally professional support I received. This along with Sally's sense of humour and genuine compassion I have achieved more than I thought possible.
Sally may now picture a monkey bone instead of coccyx and my past rising from a chair like the ape to man to evolution image. I am much better now! This lovely lady is so reassuring and good at keeping focus on her patients.
The app that I was encouraged to download meant I could obtain my physio plan when I wanted, the helpful videos and tick charts helped me with motivation at first.
If I needed to communicate inbetween sessions emailing or phoning the office was easy and always responded to quickly.
I wouldn't ever hesitate to recommend Impact Physio or take up further sessions should my condition worsen.
Am honestly so grateful for the whole approach!

My husband and myself have attended Pilates classes at Impact Physiotherapy in Long Eaton for well over 10 years. We highly recommend the classes run by their physiotherapists (small groups and individual attention when it's necessary to adjust exercises because of physical injury etc).
When we suffered from back and knee problems respectively, we had no hesitation in contacting Impact physiotherapists for private treatment. We were both very satisfied with the outcome: following a first meeting for medical assessment, the sessions helped us get better, offering professional treatment, plenty of advice and a programme of exercises to do at home. Although sessions are quite pricey, you don't have to wait for an appointment for very long and staff don't try to book you in for more sessions than necessary. We liked their very active approach of getting patients involved in their own recovery!

I've been seeing Sally Moore for several months, Sally is a very approachable and professional lady and her treatment has helped me tremendously, Sally immediately puts you at ease. I would certainly recommend Impact Physio all of the staff are friendly polite and professional which you feel as soon as you walk in.

d a bad fall and twisted my left knee causing me severe lack of mobility. The Long Eaton clinic kindly fitted me in with a same day appointment.
Saw physio Phill Tranter who was very reassuring in his approach.
Some three sessions along with an exercise routine has virtually cured the problem . Just need to carry on with the exercises .
I found very helpful that the exercise routine was sent on a video .
Would recommend without any hesitation.

I went to see Phil about a problem with my knee. Phil is incredibly knowledgeable and carried out some very thorough tests including an ultrasound scan and was able to advise me with some initial treatment exercise to carry out over 2 weeks and then return for a re-evaluation. My knee had much improved and Phil was able to provide additional rehab exercises. I returned a final time a few weeks later when my knee felt fine but Phil was able to additionally help by providing more information and further exercises to help strengthen the general area and prevent future injury. Very pleased with the service. Really nice friendly guy too! Thoroughly recommended.
I also saw Paul at the Wilford branch years before this for a different problem and he was also brilliant.

Couldn't recommend enough, Ben was great and I can honestly say there's no more pain. Started at the Pride Park office and they found room for me in Long Eaton when Covid forced the pride Park office to close. Great service.

I am very happy to commend Fiona's diagnostic skills, the immediate treatment and the provision of a set of achievable and worthwhile exercises that backed up the initial treatment and mobilisation.

I have suffered with a niggling and sometimes exceptionally painful lower back and neck for years but just thought it was 'one of those things' I had to endure. On speaking with Rachel Royer I decided to request an appointment. After just 2 sessions and armed with simple exercises it has made a world of dfference already! Why didn't I go earlier? My lower back is stronger with a less pronounced curve and I can use my neck without suffering excruciating stabbing pains. Amazing! At IP they have excellent expertise, professionalism and courtesy, plus their plain speaking makes it clear instantly what the issue is and how to address it - ideal.
I have also had Craniosacral sessions with Chris and I come away feeling peaceful, empowered, with improved movement and increased self-esteem. My headaches have gone and I am positive it is having a beneficial effect on my digestion.
I can't recommend the team enough. Many thanks all. Viv Smith

I had a zoom appointment at the beginning of lockdown. Ben was really friendly and diagnosed the problem, gave me a list of exercises to improve it and answered all of my questions. Really knowledgable, would definitely recommend him

Many thanks to Fiona, the daily shoulder exercises were easy, realistic and very effective. Having an exercise program specifically designed for me, that changed in line with my progress, certainly helped greatly. Thanks again.

Impact have looked after me post a couple of footballing injuries, most effectively when I ruptured my cruciate and again when I tore my cartilage. Friendly and efficient staff who know what they're doing, they've also on occasion sent me back to my GPS with the correct diagnosis after my GPS got it wrong! Can't pay a higher compliment than that!

Fantastic staff and atmosphere. Not one of the intimidating gym type of places but welcoming, encouraging but still push you when needed. Have helped me get back to full fitness following a broken leg and even though I am now mended I will keep going because its great!
