Excellent service and very helpful staff! Louise in reception is so very pleasant and Antony is a fantastic physiotherapist. I would highly recommend Sano Physiotherapists. They have helped to cure one massive lower back and neck pain using massage and acupuncture. (Very impressive!) I called up on the day on the off chance of getting an appointment on a day off sick from work due to a bad back. Luckily there was a cancellation and they managed to squeeze me in. I explained that I had had scoliosis corrective surgery 20+ years ago and was having pains. They knew exactly how to help treat my discomfort and gave great advise for exercises and even specialists for scoliosis. Will definitely be back for more treatments.

Sano Physiotherapy on Gedling Road, Nottingham is amazing! I saw Owen this morning having struggled for a week with calf muscles that had gone into spasm from just wearing flat shoes!! If you’re a new patient in the waiting area hearing someone like me groaning in pain, don’t be put off because the treatment here is brilliant and very effective. I have used Sano Physiotherapy in the past and a shoulder problem I had was resolved with a referral to a shoulder clinic. This s a busy Practice but they will always fit you in - they start early and go late into the evening with 10 Physio’s available to cover the different time slots. This place is excellent! Both my self and my husband have both seen Owen for our backs. He knew exactly what was wrong and did a fab job! We can both walk and move around with out being in a lot of pain. I also took my daughter to see Anthony who was really good, caring and knew exactly how to help her. The secretary Louise is lovely and always rings if there’s a cancellation, which she did for my daughter who desperately needed to see a physiotherapist. Fantastic service with Sano, I am currently being treated by Anthony, Anthony Has excellent customer services, He has taken the time to listen and understand my problems. The treatment that I have received has been very beneficial and also the exercises that I have been given to do in my private time I’ve also benefited me. Louise is at reception and she’s the first person that you are greeted by when entering, Louise is very professional in her job, friendly and very accommodating. Louise is very thorough with appointments and these will be text and emailed to you prior to the appointment. Staff all wear face Masks and there is always hand sanitiser and a box of face masks available for clients, which at this moment in time is very reassuring. Thank you to all the staff at Sano

I started having treatment from Owen back in 2018 and see him periodically when I need to. When I first saw Owen I could hardly walk. He got me back walking within weeks and then back to training so I could take part in sporting events again. He has been absolutely brilliant and really understood how important it was for me to be able to compete again. Owen is the best physio I have ever been to and I've tried a few! Amazing service every time! I had physio from Anthony and he helped me recover from a broken ankle and also neck/shoulder issues. Fantastic service with Sano. I am currently being treated by Adam for a hip injury sustained after a cycling accident. Adam is very thorough, attentive and has worked a recovery plan to aid my recovery. The treatment that I have received has been very beneficial and also the exercises that I have been given are improving my mobility, and get tweaked and adjusted after discussing the pro's and cons of the effectiveness of the exercises.

Fantastic service from start to finish. My son saw Antony over a period of 2 months for a wrist injury. Antony gave my son intensive daily exercises to do along with a deep massage each week to get him back on track as soon as possible. Antony got straight to the root of my back problem, and through a series of relieving massages and stretches, and targeted exercises I found big improvements week by week. At one point I’d resigned myself to having back pain for the rest of my life, but I’m thrilled to say that I’m now pain free and back to playing the sports I love. My only grumble would be that Antony’s diary is sometimes a bit full, but I guess that’s because I’m not the only one to rate his service!! Louise on reception is also very friendly and helpful and helped to make it a 5 star service overall.

I saw Anthony for a few weeks to help with some recurring lower back pain. With the aid of some homework exercises my back is much better now. A few pretty intense massages have also helped. I’ve had an intermittent problem for about 15 years, been to various specialists for help but none of whom have come close to identifying or resolving the problem. By contrast, Antony Madzimure has been able to identify both the problem and more importantly, practical and achievable exercises that are starting to resolve the issue, and for the first time in as long as I can remember, I am starting to feel able to move without restriction or fear of cramping/seizure. As if all the above wasn’t endorsement enough, Antony is also a really nice bloke - I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Sano Physio are brilliant. The physios do a really good assessment, they diagnose the problem and work on it with amazing results. Most of the time it's easy to get an appointment, you don't have to wait weeks! My daughter attends regularly due to an ongoing back problem, if her back "comes out" and there are no appointments that day they will always manage to squeeze her in for 10 mins to "put it back in". The receptionist is lovely, she will always do her best to get you an appointment when you want it. I cant recommend Sano Physio highly enough.

I am writing this review on behalf of Grandmother. She came to Sano with Sciatica, she has received fantastic treatment from Owen and amazing service from Louise who she says has always been patient and understanding with her difficulties with her hearing. She came to Sano when she was told by the NHS that she would have to wait for 5 weeks for a telephone appointment. She was in an intense amount of pain so she decided to go to private physio. She has now had three sessions and is in significantly less pain She highly recommends this service to anyone who requires it.

Josh is an absolutely fabulous physio. I recommend him on a regular basis as someone who will ‘fix you’! Like many competitive runners, you want someone who can quickly identify your injury, give appropriate treatment and get you back out on the road again! Josh delivers on this each time you see him. I had a three hamstring avulsion which was caused my hamstrings to retract 4.5 cms from their origin. I sustained this injury through playing football and was a significant injury, with possible long term disabling effects. I was offered an operation to reattach my hamstrings to my sit bone, but I chose to try the physio route first! My physio was Jamie Hodgson who specialising in musculoskeletal therapy and has a back ground with sports injury in particular football! Jamies understanding of my end goals, injury and professionalism was second to none! His knowledge was excellent and kept me motivated to push on, even when I didn’t want to! Through Jamie and hard work I have been able to return to football without pain and approx 6 weeks ahead of schedule! Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very good at his job! If you decide to visit for treatment make sure you see Owen. He has had many years of experience. I have been to see him for my SI joint, shoulder pains and rotate cuff and has always helped me to relief the pain and provide flexible movement. I have sent many friends to see Owen and have always comeback with a positive review. The only issue that the first few sessions he can be quite rough with his treatment, but it definitely works wonders. It's always best to book an appointment., as he is quite busy. It's about £30 for 30 to 45 minutes. But we'll worth it.

Went with sciatica. Had four sessions. Now have to go for a MRI scan to see if any damage has been caused. Not always a success story and could have happened had I gone elsewhere. Sessions were full on and treatments intense and sometimes helpful but I am now wary of manipulation and deep tissue massage. Cancelled my last appointment.
