I have been attending a Pilates class with Amie for a couple of years now, although in a small class Amie treats us all as individuals watching and instructing us all individually when needed, it is fun as well as beneficial. I have also had individual sports massage for an ongoing hip and back problem which has helped enormously, again she is so thorough with health background and so professional giving exercises to assist day to day mobility. First class.

I have been seeing Amie for soft tissue massage for the last couple of years. I have a long standing neck injury and she had looked after me when everyone else said they wouldn’t. I had tried chiropractors and had physio but there has been a problem where all my muscles go into spasm and tighten. I run a lot and physically active. Amie’s treatment has allowed me to keep doing what I want and has allowed me to get up to running a marathon without curling into a ball in pain. I always know when I’m coming up to my monthly massage as I get tight and sore.
Amie is just fabulous. Always wanting the best and helping you out. She won’t just take your money if she doesn’t think that she can help. She gives good advice and exercises to help. The massages are not a relaxing experience and she gets to work on the really problem areas. But I feel a millions times better and more flexible afterwards. She has also helped with other injuries I have had with my legs. She definitely knows her stuff and exactly the points to get to work on.
She is a lovely person to spend an hour with. I think I get just as much benefit from our chats as I do the massages. She makes you feel at ease and never too much of a bother even when you have abused your body between sessions and undone all her hard work.
Over the first lockdown when she couldn’t open I really noticed the difference and was in a lot more pain and really uncomfortable. It was great when she opened up again and I could get my regular sessions.
The studio is always nice and clean and warm. Has a lovely feel to it. Amie has a pretty good taste in music too.
There is not a nicer person or better sports therapist out there.

I have attended Pilates classes on a weekly basis for the last 3 years. Amie is excellent, constantly checking that each participant is moving correctly and offering variations as required to suit each individual. The classes are small and friendly with different exercises each week so we are never bored! I have also received several sports massages to relieve various aches and pains and would not hesitate to recommend both this and the Pilates classes.

Amie was amazing! She was really thorough in understanding my medical history/aches/pains and general grumbles. The session itself was fascinating and I learnt a lot (as well as getting a good workout). The main thing I really appreciated were Amie's kind words at the end of the session as they really boosted my confidence. Can't wait for my next session!

Amie is a star. We have a weekly private session with her.
Her teaching style encourages one to push oneself and enjoy doing so!
She is committed to improving her client's wellbeing and can adapt a session to suit her client's abilities and needs.

Amie is both a wonderful Pilates teacher and therapist. Her knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is extensive and applied in a kind and considered way. I never leave a lesson or therapy session without feeling taller, broader and cared for.

Excellent massage, a great help with shoulder, leg and foot pain. Pleasant, comfortable environment. Very caring practitioner and a good listener. Will be going back again for further treatments, very good value for money.

Amie is balm to my ageing and aching body. She keeps me able to cope with my various ailments, arthritis being .one of them. She is the best physiotherapist I have ever had, and seeing her regularly is a joy

Can't recommend Aimee enough. I was in pain a lot of the time before I met Aimee and she has helped me so much with my body. Aimee is amazing at her job, I have recommended a couple of people to her and they all agree that she is the best there is.
Thanks for putting up with us broken bodies Aimee!

I was introduced to Amie about three years ago, when I was 68, by a friend of my wife who had used her massage service. As I had a shoulder problem at the time I made an appointment to see her. Unlike many therapists I had previously been to Amie took time to listen to what I told her about the problem, checked out my shoulder in terms of point of pain, degree of movement restriction and my need to get it corrected. She explained what she was doing as the massage progressed and at the end suggested some home exercise. I visited her two more times with the problem which she was able to correct and it has not caused any issues since. I noted that Amie had a Reformer at the clinic so I signed up for four sessions. Now I still visit her on a weekly basis and have three reformer sessions and one massage session on a four week cycle. I go back so regularly because Amie is the best therapist I have ever visited and I have visited many different ones over a 20 year period in over 15 different countries. She is very knowledgeable about how the body works, the muscle structures and anatomy. Over the last 3 years she has solved many issues I have had particularly around my hips and groin as well as helping me to stay fit and active.
If you have any type of muscular issue or want to use a Reformer or Pilates to get or stay fit then Amie is the person to go to. Quite simply Amie is the best!

Amie was very friendly and considerate. She explained everything as we went along and has even given me some suggestions to help myself. I couldn't have asked for more. This was brilliant and I would not hesitate to use again or recommend to anyone else. Thank You Amie.

Amie is the owner and expert instructor of the studio. Been going to her for 5+ years. She gets to know her clients really well, small classes with individual instruction and supervision. Classes are always fun, relaxing and very varied.
Lovely new studio, easy parking and nice people! Highly recommended!!!

Amie came highly recommended. I am a former Rugby Player of significant size and over the last couple of years my mobility within my neck has deteriorated. I have put up with this for some time but recently decided I needed help. I have had the support of many massages over the years but can say that after one session with Amie at Koru Bodyworks I am nothing short of amazed at what has been achieved. Amie's knowledge and focus on my needs was superb. I will definitely be going back in a few weeks for a follow up and no hesitation in recommending Amie.

A trusted friend highly recommended Amie and her delightful studio in Botley to me and I’ll be forever grateful that she did!
From the moment I exchanged emails with Amie and then set foot in her tranquil and calming studio, I knew I was going to love it. Having never done Pilates before, I was really unsure if it was for me. I need not have worried as Amie’s passionate knowledge and caring professionalism approach has set me well on my way to finding the inner strength in my core that I thought was long gone!
Thank you so much Amie, Koru Body Works is a gem of a find!

Amie genuinely cares about you as an individual. Amie takes the time to help each person in a class and remembers what each person may be struggling with. For me I have low back pain, so she knows when to help me adapt movements. I love that we can also have a laugh in class - she challenges but in a fun way!
Her massage work is also amazing. She really knows what she's doing and can help with really getting to the root of the issue.
If you live anywhere nearby and you need help with sports massage - she's the person for you!

I saw Amie last week for a sports massage. I have had several back problems and now a shoulder that needed help. Since seeing Aime I have had the most freedom of my movement for a long time, she was able to use her knowledge to focus the treatment exactly as my body needed. Her advice for the future was invaluable. I can not recommend Aime or the studio highly enough. I will be going back regularly.

Koru Bodyworks provides a professional and friendly environment for pilates and sports massage. Amie is a fantastic pilates teacher . She takes time to ensure that you understand what she is asking you to do so that you really get the benefit of each session . She works with each client to target specific needs and is very aware of different abilities .
Her sports massage has helped enormously with my rather broken body . I travel a lot with work so suffer from tight shoulders and lower back .Amie's magic hands have really helped and provided a long term fix.
She is also one of the nicest people you are ever likely to meet!

I used to go to a pilates class in a large gym organisation and found them to be too large and always wondered if I was doing them correctly. Aimes classes are fantastic and she will give you alternatives to help you with any pain or tightness you may have. I've also had a few massages from her which are also excellent. All the people in the classes are super friendly too.

I attend a weekly men’s Pilates class. Amie ensures that each session is targeted to strengthen and condition specific areas of the body. She is always mindful of any physical limitations of the class members. She explains the movements clearly and ensures that the sessions are balanced with opportunities to stretch and rest. The atmosphere is relaxed, but we are encouraged to work hard and always with good humour. Pilates is a fantastic way to develop controlled strength and all members of my class have benefitted from Amie’s skilled coaching. Highly recommended!

Amie runs a super friendly and professional class with lots of laughs along the way. You can work to your own level of ability or push yourself a little more if you want too. Our class has now had to switch to run via video conference link and we've all managed to set ourselves up ready for the first one - it was great fun too. Highly recommend. xx

I suffer badly with sciatica and as a painter and decorator it is a real issue. I’ve tried medication and physio but with no relief! One session with Amie and I have had full relief for the first time in years! Can not recommend her enough! Extremely knowledgable about the body and knew just what to do! I’ve even signed up for her Pilates classes! If you’re like me, and don’t want to take pills to fix the problem, pop along to Aime, you won’t be disappointed with the results.

As a complete pilates novice with neck and back problems, I have found pilates at Koru Body works an amazing therapy. Amie has made me feel very welcome and made settling into classes easy. She keeps the vibe lighthearted and always finds ways to mix the classes up, avoiding too much repetition. A great studio in an easily accessible location.

I started pilates in January this year to improve my core strength and overall body conditioning. I have previously been a keen raquets player, basketball and volleyball but needed something else to replace my sports now that I've hung up my boots. Now concentrating on golf and tennis. I thought pilates would be suitably gentle but for a more strenuous workout can easily be intensified - I found this out pretty quickly. My core strength and posture have improved immensely and feel as tall as giant after my weekly workout. Lazing in the corner is not an option ! I still get in a tangle sometimes which is why I prefer to attend the studio rather than virtually so that I can be 'untangled' when required. I can wholeheartedly recommended Koru Body works. Amie your the best 👍👍👍

I have used pilates as a method of improving my core strength and manage an on-going back issue for years through a combination of classes (individual and group), and practice at home. Amie at Koru is highly experienced and professional, always taking the time to explain the exercises, the benefits, and always happy to tailor classes to particular ailments people in the class may be suffering. The mens group class in particular is great as it brings a lot of fun to the process too and is a great way to start the week.

A gem of a place- Amie has made the space here tranquil and calming. I first went for massage and then tried Pilates. Having never done Pilates before and as I'm no longer young, I was nervous. But Amie is a superb and passionate teacher. I love the sessions and know that I'm now helping and inproving the musco-skeletal issues that I have.

Aime has worked so hard to comply with current guidelines and has set up a modern new studio for her pilates classes. She makes the sessions varied and interesting. Her good humour and extra care is always evident.

I went to see Amie due to a shoulder problem that had been troubling me for months. She really listened to me & understood what to do to help me, within 1 session my shoulder felt so much better & has continued to improve. I would totally recommend Koru body works & Amie herself. She’s fantastic.

Following a lifetime of laptop working, my neck and shoulders were really suffering with stiffness, pain and bad posture. I discovered Amie at Koru and have seen such a massive transformation that I just had to write this review. I noticed that she also has a Pilates studio and thought this would be a good way to keep up my new mobility and can now recommend her 110% for both massage and Pilates.

Years of running was starting to take it’s toll on my legs, so recently I decided to contact Koru Bodyworks to arrange a consultation and sports massage. Within two sessions Amie had greatly reduced the discomfort I was experiencing in my calves, which has enabled me to enjoy running and competing again. I would highly recommend Amie @ Koru Bodyworks, her knowledge and professionalism is second to none!

Amie is fantastic, the classes are small and she really does focus on everyone and their individual needs. Her classes are different every week and have really improved my strength and flexibility.

I highly recommend Koru Bodyworks & Amie Budden. Her knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy & physiology is excellent.
Her 1:1 therapy has really helped my chronic thoracic back problem and helped prevent it recurring through sensible advice and Pilates techniques.

A new location, which I think is much improved on the previous location, but the same level of excellent guidance for exercise. Amie manages to take everybody's needs and capabilities into account whilst running a very friendly group.

Went to see Amie with a bad back from uncomfortable chairs and computer work and came out with feeling fixed and great :)

Great experience and my body is definitely less knackered than it was. Highly recommended.
