Lindsey has been working with our son Samuel since December following his diagnosis of cerebral palsy (right side hemiplegia). Can't recommend her highly enough. The change in Samuel in the last 5 weeks has blown us away. Lindsey is knowledgeable and up to date on potential treatments and options and giving us confidence and positivity about the future for Samuel. We have had experience of a different physio and it was like night and day working with Lindsey, she is warm, engaging and Samuel really enjoys his sessions with her. Very highly recommended.

Lindsey carried out an assessment of my 16 month old daughter at home today for a gait abnormality and we received the follow up report with hours. She is obviously extremely knowledgeable and experienced, very thorough and she achieved an amazing amount of co-operation from what is a very unwilling patient. She gave me lots of ideas for ways of working with my daughter to facilitate improvement and made sure I really understood these. I would happily recommend Lindsey to anyone looking for a paediatric physio with expertise in neurological and orthopaedic conditions.

We met Lindsey a couple of months ago to help us with our daughter, Amandine. Lindsey is nothing but professional and we were really impressed with her knowledge of Amandine’s health history and where she was in her development today. Post session, Lindsey provided us with tips and advice for exercises that we could do without her which was really helpful. I would wholeheartedly recommend using Wanderlust Therapy for Kids.

Lindsey Hopkinson was one of the first physiotherapists to see my son. We did for a whole year before she had to move away. She was absolutely great with him (and us the parents), we all learnt a great deal from her and she was very involved! She introduced new techniques, helped us with all the equipment adjustments, recommended the trike which was a great hit and has improved my son's condition. Lindsey knows her stuff and has a strong network of professionals. I still go back to her for advice.

I am so glad we found Lindsey when we did! After only 2 sessions we noted considerable improvement in our 1 year old, who was struggling with his gross motor skills due to hypermobility. With easy to follow facilitation and exercises, we now have a child who is on the move and exploring all the things a normal 1 year old should... he is so much happier in himself and no longer frustrated with his inability to do things he wanted to do. Lindsey is patient and gives clear instruction which is what you need as a parent who is struggling with what to do!

Our son what diagnosed with positional or deformational plagiocephaly (basically a bit of a flat head - thankfully not too bad) when he was 4 a 5 months old. We were advised that physio could help speed up the process to get him off his back (as this was the root cause of the bit of flatness of his head). Despite the challenging times we live in, Lindsey has been absolutely great in doing exactly what we needed: provided guidance, advise on exercises and remote oversight over a period of several weeks. The result was that our son was able to get of his back significantly earlier, allowing the natural process of his head shape recovering more quickly. Lindsey is highly recommended by us!

Lindsey was very professional and gave a very good assessment of our son's physical problems. We also appreciated all the covid 19 PPE that was set up in place prior to the home visit. Our son was very responsive to what Lindsey was asking him to do as she has of way of engaging him innthe activities. Would definitely recommend wanderlust therapy to anyone in need of such help.

At the age of two my son Sam was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Since then, his life has revolved around hospital visits and the medical profession. His greatest need has been physiotherapy and over the years has been seen by a succession of physiotherapists, some great and others not so good. Unfortunately, due to varying factors, his time with the better ones has always been short lived.
Sam is now eighteen and has recently come under the care of Lindsey. For the first time we have a physiotherapist who truly understands his needs and who is passionate about ensuring that he gets the best treatment. From a parent’s perspective it is refreshing to be educated the way Lindsey has educated me, by breaking things down in a way that is easy for me to grasp, and in a manner that no previous physiotherapist has been able to do.
Lindsey is always happy to go that extra mile and has been instrumental in getting Sam services that are not readily available on the NHS, even though they ought to be. She has put us in touch with the London Orthotic Consultancy, with whom she works closely, and through them Sam now has vital equipment that, without Linsey, we wouldn’t have even realised that he needed. The new splints and tailor-made shoes that they have provided have proven to be of paramount importance in improving Sam’s stability and gait.
I cannot express highly enough how pleased both Sam and I are to have found Lindsey, and how grateful we are for her professional and compassionate care and treatment.

For anyone looking for a private physio for themselves or for their child I couldnt recommend Lindsey from Wanderlust highly enough. She is so knowledgeable and dedicated to continuously enhancing her personal development on Cerebral Palsy (our daughter has CP). Not only has she been amazing with her physio programmes for my daughter but she has also sign posted us to the right clinical cares and because of that my daughters all round care has been greatly improved! So for anyone in the Surrey and surrounding areas she is definitely worth seeing!

Lyndsey is without any doubt the best physiotherapist we have ever had. She is relentless in her pursuit of excellence on behalf of her patients and she can always find a way to help and support her patients. Lyndsey's knowledge and expertise is second to none and I wholeheartedly recommend her to reservation.
