P.This place is an absolute gem. It doesn’t look like much from the street, but step into a cozy, intimate restaurant with a rustic feel. The waitresses were incredibly attentive and helpful, frequently checking we were okay even though it was a busy evening. The food was delicious and the chefs took our food intolerances in their stride. They even allowed us to have a starter as a main! I would definitely recommend this amazing restaurant.

M. A.We managed to get a booking on a busy Saturday night. We were seated at a small table downstairs and were later upgraded to a larger table upstairs. The service was exceedingly cheerful. We had the vegetarian antipasta, garlic mushrooms and garlic pizza for starters. The garlic mushrooms were absolutely amazing! She had the penne pizzaiola and I had the house special pizza Di carni for mains. The food and service was outstanding. This would have been an easy five star review had it not been marred by finding a peice of meat in the vegetarian penne. All and all this is an excellent Italian restaurant on Aberystwyth's high street.

Had the cold meats to share, spaghetti bolognese, fettuccine gamberi, tiramusi and cheesecake. Had another meal since this review, excellent service and food. Exceptional good value and quality.

K.Made an out of town reservation for my partner's birthday and had to change the time to later (2 hours, as got side tracked touristing in Snowdonia) called and rearranged and the team at little Italy still managed to fit us in. Food tasted just like authentic italian and was very yum, must try the garlic bread with the meatballs. The team even brought out a dessert with happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate. Thankyou Little Italy for a memorable night with excellent genuine service nothing was too much trouble. When we are in the area we will definitely be back.

C. N.Mixed experience. Antipasti and wine good and I liked the main course- fettuccine with prawns but my wife's gluten free pasta was nasty, her chicken overcooked and sauce meagre. So beware if you need gluten free. People were lovely, and decor interesting, if you like very brown.
C. C.As soon as you walk in you know it's an Italian, the aroma of garlic and home cooked Italian food sent my appetite into overdrive. I was a solo business traveller and turned up unannounced and was accommodated without fuss for an excellent meal. Well seasoned and cooked food alongside a sensible quality merlot by the glass. Service prompt but unhurried. Very much enjoyed and will be back for more.

A. B.What a popular place, booking is necessary. Menus is clearly layed out and has a good variety to please every palette. Specials are available. The food was exceptional, not overpowered by sauces and presentation was great.
The staff was very attentive and friendly.I particularly liked the ambience of the place, nice touches of little Italy. As there are stairs down and internally steep stairs to the upper floor it would provide a challenge for people with mobility issues. The upstairs toilet is a single toilet but very clean.
Highly recommend you book yourself a table and enjoy the food.

Beautiful little venue. Great service. And the food was lovely. Definitely the best Mussels starter ive ever had.
IF i had to complain about anything, it would be that there are no draft alcohols - cant beat a Moretti with a Italian. But that is easily lost within the rest of the brilliant experience eating at Little Italy.
When we return, we will DEFINITELY be eating here again.

The staff are always lovely, and happy to accommodate us. It’s also reasonably priced and the house wine is very good. The menu also has plenty of veggie options.

R. S.Group of 6 of us attended, booked weeks in advance as its only a small place and popular restaurant. If you planning to go to Aber, check availability here same time as accommodation if you want to try it.
Also note orders are required before you arrive.
Some of our group had starters, nice portions, we all had pasta dishes for main, all very good, maybe the lasagne could have had thicker sauce though? Sides were tasty, garlic bread and salad good portions although the tuscan potatoes was a bit small. Some of group sampled the deserts they were nice too.
Could be said drinks a little pricey. Wine did seem expensive here.
Clean and well presented, polite and helpful staff.
Definitely worth a visit if you're coming to Aberystwyth.

We were greeted by cheerful, friendly staff who made us feel at home, the pleasant, cool(during a heat wave) surroundings and delicious menu meant were didn't want for anything.
Bruccetta starter, tender chicken breast with tasty homemade sauce, served with Mediterranean vegetables and scrumptious little potatoes for main and a gorgeous Tiramisu for dessert, It was tied with the raspberry panna cotta, I'll just have to go back to have that. The limoncello cocktails could have just flowed, but I just had to end with coffee served with a mini amaretto biscuit. Great value for money, great staff.

The atmosphere, staff and menu hasn't changed and doesn't need to! From the pizzas to the pastas each bite is a masterpiece in my opinion. We are still welcomed as if we were regulars even after living away for 5 years.

Not very often I leave a review but this was one of them occasions where it was absolutely needed.
The customer experience was on another level. It was fast, efficient and extremely welcoming nothing was to much trouble. 😁
The food was exceptional I had 3 courses plus an espresso martini (which I must add was fantastic and freshly made non of this postmix stuff)
As a tourist if I ever return to Aberystwyth this will be at the top of my restaurant choice!!

S. W.Great service from the staff but the food was poor and there wasn't a lot of it. We had spaghetti carbonara and there was hardly any sauce with it or bacon. One of the worst carbonara's I've ever eaten. We paid nearly £12 for it each and I'd say it would have only cost £1 to knock it together. We also had garlic bread which was lovely, but we paid extra for that. Would I eat there again? NO. Not good value for money.

J. M.Amazing, the staff were very friendly and we were lucky to get a booking for the night we wanted as they had a cancellation. All waitresses were really nice and well presented, they helped us pick out a wine and we were able to have a taster.
The food was absolutely delicious, we had a ciabatta with salami and garlic mushrooms to start, the ciabatta came as three slices with a healthy amount of salami and pancetta ham with tomatoes, the garlic mushrooms were pretty standard, two small pieces of bread with it.
The mains were a fettuccine Alfredo and a penne arrabiata, pasta cooked to perfection, not too soft. The chicken was moist and tender. We had a garlic bread on the side which came as triangle slices that were quite thin so we're very crispy and had trouble soaking up the juices.
We will be going back.

My wife and I went for our wedding anniversary. You don't want a bad meal at the best of times but even more so on a special occasion.
The food was lovely, tasty and didn't leave you stuffed either. It's so good we booked again on the last day of our 2018 Wales holiday.

It has a wonderful atmosphere with a cute little fire place and the food was beyond amazing. Such lovely homemade food and the service was good too. The waitresses were very kind and polite to us throughout the evening, which made the experience so much better. Their menu has a variety of pasta, pizza and salad dishes. Mum and I shared a steak, which was cooked to perfection and we also had dessert which was delicious. The food wasn't too heavy and didn't make you feel too stuffed- it was just right. This restaurant is an absolute must and I will be definitely be coming here again.

I've read some reviews about time and availability being an issue but it's easy to get a table if you use your head and book a day before, and it's not a fast food restaurant so I'm baffled why people are upset that their food takes time to cook. The food arrives in a timely fashion, and I've always been able to book a table, even same day in a lot of cases. The food itself is unmatched in Aberystwyth and in my opinion, anywhere else. The service is attentive without being annoying and intrusive. The atmosphere is set with beautifully lit rooms and tables are impeccable. I couldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone enough, and will be attending only ever more and more.
N.A wonderful little find! The basement location limits the noise of the busy streets and enables you to enjoy your meal and the company you are with. During our visit the food was exceptional, with a great choice of dishes on the menu, and the service was excellent. So glad to have experienced this place!

C. K.I'll get straight to it: highly recommend! The atmosphere is great and the staff and are friendly and helpful, but never overbearing. Had a starter, red wine, the pasta piccola italia, dessert, and a cappuccino: all were excellent. The pasta sauce was extraordinary; it is not often after a filling pasta meal you want more, but if they had set down another plate, I couldn't have helped myself.
Tip! I do recommend getting a reservation, but it's not necessary.
