Excellent quality food at reasonable prices. Very fresh and pleasant decor. Friendly and knowledgeable owner. We're lucky to have such a good restaurant in town. Highly recommended 🍴👍

I had one of the best restaurant feast recently at Bennyssimo. Me and my partner visited newly open restaurant on Saturday and we were very pleased by the service and food we received. We already tried take away option two years ago but restaurant has some more options in menu. This time we tried lasagna and orecchiette with beef ragu and both were great! Really worth to visit and spend some time over good wine and food.

5 Star food, 5 Star wine from a team that know how to serve and create food. Great food is hard to find locally but sometimes you find that genuine place of genuine food. I had the Italian South Ragu (Bolognese) just different levels of depth and flavour, an underappreciated dish. My partner had carbonara, which is also my son's (5YO) favourite and there wasn't an ounce left on any plate. The prosecco was high end, the white wine I forget the name, that was paired with Ragu was fantastic! Everyone knows how hard it can be to find genuine good food locally, created by people that know their craft, give it a try, you won't regret it.

UPDATE: Went to dine in with some friends, the new restaurant is so nice, love the colour scheme. The food is outstanding as always, authentic and freshly made. Wine is also very good, ask the manager for advise if you are not sure about the best wine to pair with your food. He knows a lot about wines. So glad this restaurant has opened in Bathgate, will visit again! It is outstanding, delicious, really the best takeaway I've had in years. Food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal.

** Update 2 new menu as of 30th of march** I have removed a star as they have removed some of their awesome authentic menue items, I just hope they can bring them back soon. ** Update ** We kept some of their meatball starter and tomato sauce for a lunch sub the next day, I have no idea what they put in their source but its INSANE, I may ask if they provide it in jars or as an extra side. The meatballs are also amazing. The food is just awesome do not delay just order. **** Absolutely incredible, by far the tastiest Italian takeaway I've had, including takeaways from London. Their food is insanely tasty and authentic, there is a large variety of different pasta dishes, the escalope is so good. That starter arancini and meatballs are must haves. Their delivery is very speedy and the staff are very nice! The only criticism is some of the dishes are a tiny bit over salty (likely when there are already salted integrations like the sausage etc) but still amazing. I actually think their dishes are tastier than many dine in Italian restaurants! Treat yourself and order from here. No regrets.

I ate the whole pizza it was that good and now i feel like a burst couch! The manager was lovely and told us she made the dips herself everyday!!! Super tasty would highly recommend ❤️❤️

27/11/21 - Have just waited just short of 2 & 1/2 hours for our delivery. Food was cold and we had to reheat food. Carbonara was dried out and inedible. Only highlight was risotto balls which were delicious. Won’t be back. 28/11/21 - The restaurant contacted us and apologised for the poor service and assured us it was not the norm and sent out new order for us to try. Pizza and Carbonara were both good and again the highlight was the risotto balls which were excellent, a must try if you are going here. We will be giving this takeaway another try, food was good and delivery was very prompt tonight.

Being one of the only non-chain takeaways in West Lothian that seem to offer vegan pizzas, we took a detour via Bathgate on the way home from a day out specifically to go to Bennyssimo so I could try the vegan pizza. So tasty! Well worth the visit and I'll be sure to make another detour if I'm ever near the area for another one. My friend is not vegan and just got an ordinary pizza, but we both agreed our pizzas were great! Please open a branch in the Livingston/West Edinburgh area 😉
