One the the best restaurants in Bedford! We have been customers of this restaurant over many years, this long established Italian venue is nicely decorated with a nice cosy ambient feel and not too noisy if you like to talk over dinner, the food is 100% amazing! One of my favourite dishes on the menu is the fillet steak with peppercorn sauce, my wife's favourite is crab linguine which he says is exceptional... The service is always on point with halil the owner always going out of his way to make you feel comfortable and at home. I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely delicious food! I really enjoyed our pasta. And the staff are so warm and accommodating. My son has several allergies and they made a special dish for him which he loved, he was practically slurping it up. If you’re looking for any non-alcoholic drinks definitely ask for a lemonade, it’s not on the menu but they can make you a unique fresh glass - perfect on a hot day like today!

My partner and I visited yesterday evening and were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service. We had tartufo limoncello (like a frozen ice cream) and homemade cheesecake for dessert. The best cheesecake in town! I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment. Busy Italian restaurant when we went in on a Tuesday evening. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. Staff were very friendly and efficient. No kids cutlery or menu but they will happily split a main between two kids for you. Kids loved the gelato for desert. The Tartufo Classico (like a frozen icecream Ferrero Rocher) was lovely. Service not included. Would definitely recommend and return.

I don't say this lightly but this is hands down the best Italian I have ever had. The food is absolutely to die for. We had starters mains & desserts and all of then were exceptional. A party of nine! We were well catered for. Be the food was hot and tasty and brought out to us at the same time which was great. The team were lovely and looked after us all night. Starters are expensive, like many places they put the prices for starters up and you get a bigger plate of food to justify this, so it's almost like a main course. Seafood linguine was very good. Enjoyed our dinner here and would visit again. Good service as well.

We ordered take-away last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the second one in lockdown! We decided to treat ourselves to a meal from Amici. The process was easy, via Deliveroo, and the menu was difficult to choose from there were so many delicious dishes. When the food arrived, it was beautifully presented, and was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend this independent restaurant.

Due to the Eat Out To Help Out Scheme I decided to try a new restaurant and Amici was a great choice! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and wouldn’t improve much except the portion size!! The staff were attentive and very friendly with a warm atmosphere in the restaurant. There was a slight mix up with a starter due to miscommunication, however, this was corrected very quickly with no hassle whatsoever. The staff brought our food and drink very quickly after ordering, with no waiting around. I’ve seen the September lunch menu so I’ll definitely be returning to try that!

We had a lovely meal from Amici. Very well cooked, extremely tasty & lovely staff. They even worked around my fairly severe food sensitivities. We picked up our meal as restaurants are still closed due to Covid. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant. My parents will be back & hopefully I will be too when I'm visiting again. Top tip: if you order using their form on their website & pick up your food, the restaurant doesn't have to pay 20-30% to Deliveroo etc.

We joined friends here on a busy Saturday night. It was our first visit but we will certainly return. Although the restaurant was full both the food and the service were excellent. All of our meals were delicious and full of flavour. Service was efficient and polite without being overbearing. When we finished our meal we continued chatting at the table for quite awhile. There was no pressure to go and it was clear that the table was ours for the evening. A winning combination of delicious food and spot on service make Amici a great place to spend an evening.

Wow! Wish we had gone before - it's great. Relaxed atmosphere, attentive service and fantastic food. I had caprese salad to start. Generous, fresh portion with beautiful ripe tomatoes. Mushroom risotto for main. Simply the best cooked risotto I've had. Perfect. And so flavoursome. Again a generous portion. Half has come home with me for lunch tomorrow. I didn't have dessert but I tasted my husband's tiramisu and that was lovely too. We will certainly be back!

Seven of us ate, and everyone's food looked great and tasted even better. The bruschetta was delicious. Thick cut crostini piled high with tomatos, onions, olives and basil. Love, love love this place! I have been a fan of this place for over 10 years yet they never fail to get better and better even when I don't see any more room for improvements. Amici is one of those places where you can never get bored of the menu! The atmosphere is remarkable, relaxed but not too casual. For starter I had Cotze Arabiata which was Mussels cooked with tomato and chillies sauce which I loved and recommend! For my main I had Pollo Don Pepe which is a big pice of chicken cooked in a mushroom, bacon and white wine sauce! I asked for extra bacon which they provided strait away unlike some other restaurants whom make a big fuss when asking for food alterations. Sayed the chef (not sure if thats how you spell his name) is one of my top 10 favourite chefs in UK! If I could, I would eat here every single day!

Good food so very busy even during thw weekday. Always call before going, we were lucky enough to get the place. Only down side is it's a small place, some spots are so narrow you can't get into the chair without disturbing other guests.

The food was nice enough, but drink prices were high. In my opinion,. £7 for a 660ml bottle of Peroni is extortionate,. 2 glasses of red wine, 2 Peroni, and 2 cokes would come to £34, so adding the cost of a two course meal on top, would mean a bill of nearly £100 for 2 adults and one child(depending on food chosen). Quite a lot for an hour long(if that) dining experience.If the drinks were more reasonably priced I would have gone back with friends, but as a 10% service charge is added to larger parties(8 or more i think), the cost would be even more prohibitive, so my next meal out will be somewhere more reasonably priced..
